Amanda was so kind and easy to work with, and the flowers were absolutely stunning. She has an amazingly professional communication style. She made my dream bouquet.
Absolutely fabulous floral design, and a fantastic person to work with to boot! We worked with Amanda to do our wedding rehearsal dinner flowers and could not have been happier! If...
you've seen her work on social, you know she's talented at what she does, and I was so excited to work with her. What I learned is not only is she super talented but she is very communicative, thorough, super sweet, and just an overall dream vendor to work with. I had a hard time articulating my vision but somehow she just "got it" and the flowers that awaited me at the rehearsal dinner were even more beautiful that I could have imagined. Not only a beautiful design but the blooms themselves were gorgeous! I would rate her 100 starts if I could, 10 out of 10 recommend!!!
Hiring Amanda Burnette was the first decision we made after my husband and I were engaged in November of 2020 because we knew there was no way our day would be complete without her...
incredible florals. After admiring her work for other weddings for so long, I immediately jumped at the opportunity to hire her and her work truly made our wedding vision come to life. Putting complete trust in her to make our floral design the star of the show, Amanda pulled together the most magical color palette and design, which not only complimented our other wedding day elements, but made it the most perfect, beautiful day I could imagine. Amanda is a true professional, highly skilled and knowledgeable and was the absolute best (and easiest) wedding vendor to communicate with: timely, clear, and kind, always going above and beyond to answer our (many) questions without hesitation. All we wanted was a simple but beautiful wedding but working with ABFD made it all that but also so much more. Thank you, Amanda, for making our day so stunningly beautiful.
Amanda is the absolute best. No words could do justice to how beautiful she made my wedding (even with lots of changes during the pandemic!) and how kind and upbeat she was through...

Amanda Burnette and her florals absolutely were the highlight of my wedding. Florals were such a priority for me (we even upped the budget to make visions become reality) because t...
hey have the potential to make such an impact and enhance the spaces. I knew absolutely nothing about flowers, just what colors, vibe, and textures I wanted. But it was all ok because Amanda knows EVERYTHING about florals. She translated my ramblings into something real and executed perfection. I will dream about my arbor and bouquet for the rest of my life. Our centerpieces, floral runners, detail arrangements, cake flowers just everything turned out beautifully. Amanda was such a joy to work with, so easy going, encouraging and fun and flexible. Could not ask for a better vendor for something as monumentally important on your wedding day as flowers.
Amanda came HIGHLY recommended to us by our planner, and we're so happy we hired her. Her work was absolutely breathtaking and we received so many compliments. I don't have much vi...
sion at all, so I told Amanda general things we liked and didn't like, sent a few inspiration photos, and told her we trusted her. We could not have imagined a more beautiful result!! Thank you so much, Amanda, for helping make our day more gorgeous than we could have ever imagined. Your work is magical!!!

get and she did what she could to make it work.
She was super responsive in emails and I loved working with her...even in the thick of the no-fun-wedding-planning-phase.
In the last month leading up to the wedding I decided I wanted a long velvet ribbon for my bouquet. And oh man she delivered! She found a dusty blue ribbon that fit perfectly.
A picture of the bouquet is the background on my phone...yeah she's that good!
Amanda was the sweetest, loveliest person to work with. She listened to all of my sentimental requests and communicated often and in detail. When she walked in with our flowers on ...
wedding day, I almost burst into tears — they were some of the most heartbreakingly beautiful florals I'd ever seen. In addition to providing stunning flowers, she supported me throughout the planning process, always had an encouraging word, and gave excellent guidance. I really couldn't have done it without her. Thank you Amanda! <3

She was also super flexible with our plans to make sure they fit into my budget without sacrificing the overall vibe I was going for. On top of all that, she has a lovely personality and was a treat to work with. Hire Amanda, you won't regret it!
Amanda’s work is flawless. From seeing her work in other weddings I knew this was the wedding vendor I just had to have. As other wedding details moved around in terms of catering,...
number of guests, and room set-up, Amanda remained flexible and continued to share options that she could do within my budget. Each new revision was better than the one before and the flowers were truly breathtaking on the wedding day.
If I could post more stars, I totally would. Amanda is literally a flower wizard. We knew we wanted a fall pallet, but minus anything related to pumpkins or mason jars....and she a...
bsolutely nailed it. I literally cried when she walked through the door with bouquet. Never in my life have I seen flowers so beautiful or well put together. She also took our touch of star wars request and ran with it in the classiest way. I am so thankful we ended up with Amanda. She is so crazy talented and our wedding would not have been so beautiful without all of her juicy blooms. If you need a florist in the Richmond area, hire Amanda. She's the bomb and your flowers will never be more beautiful then what she delivers on your wedding day.
Amanda is a flower genius, from the moment we started emailing and I described my vision, she totally got it. She will work with your budget and puts together the most beautiful bo...

e her with a few inspirational photos and a general color scheme and she ran with it. Amanda created the most beautiful, romantic, dreamy centerpieces and bouquets. They were so fitting with the overall vision. They were everything we had hoped for and more. Amanda also created a beautiful floral curtain that we used as the backdrop for the photobooth. All the guests loved it! And when I needed some help finding some florals on the fly for the rehearsal dinner and a handkerchief fitted around my daughter’s bouquet, she stepped in and saved the day. She is super talented and such a joy!
Amanda is the BEST. She is not just a florist but a floral designer with incredible creative genius. I told her the vibe I was going for, some of my favorite flowers, and our weddi...
ng colors and she ran with it. I'm so glad I gave her the creative liberty to make some decisions because the florals stunned. Everything was absolutely beautiful from the bouquets to the centerpieces to the flower wall everything was even better than I imagined.
Amanda is AMAZING to work with and her floral creations are insanely beautiful. I ordered bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages from her for my wedding, and basically sent her a Pin...
terest board with some bouquets I thought were pretty and a color board. Boy did she take my ideas and run with them! I couldn't stop ooh-ing and ahh-ing over the flowers when they got dropped off at my getting ready suite - they were that beautiful. She's also a great communicator and responded promptly to all emails, even during busy season. I met with her in person to finalize details and she was extremely helpful (I don't know anything about flowers so she had lots of pictures and was great at explaining things) and was overall just super fun to chat with. I highly recommend Amanda if you want creative, beautiful flowers at your wedding!
Most brides, especially type A ones like myself, have visions of perfection for their wedding day. Amanda gave me perfection and then some. I actually cried (happy tears! not stres...
sed out, Bridezilla ones) when she walked in with the bouquets. She made my mother, who is always rocking flowers in her hair, a sweet hair comb corsage that complemented her updo and dress perfectly, my flower-dog an adorable flower collar, and my two boho bridesmaids beautiful flower crowns that made them look both elegant and wood nymph-like at the same time. She dressed up our unique altar (an antique railroad cart) with a gorgeous giant wreath. We were just sent our photo proofs, and it is immediately obvious that all of our pictures are enhanced tenfold by the bright and lush bouquets, boutonnieres, and table designs. Amanda is intuitive, creative, and wildly talented. I can't make any promises for your food or best man speech, but I can guarantee that if you work with Amanda, your flowers will be absolutely perfect and exactly how you envisioned them.
The flowers Amanda made for my wedding were absolutely stunning! She created a custom floral display for our wedding arch as well as several bouquets and bouts. I also requested th...
at she incorporate air plants and succulents into each bouquet and the results were so fantastic. Best of all I get to keep part of my bouquet alive for years to come. I wish I could get married again just for more flowers!!!
I had a small wedding so I only wanted a bouquet and a bout for my fiancé. Amanda was patient with me when I said "um, I don't know what I want... Here are some photos, here is wha...
t I want to spend... Do it!"
My bouquet was better than I could've dreamed of. She even wrapped a piece of denim around my fiancé's boutonniere as a nod to his jean snobbery.
I'm going to use Amanda for all of my floral needs. I'd rather send my friends and family an organic looking, trendy bouquet that is handcrafted by a woman who has her finger on the pulse of trend and subtle beauty than go with store bought crap.
She worked with my budget, didn't sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't want and totally nailed it.
Amanda FOREVER!
