I truly do not know where to begin with Amanda!! From the very first time we spoke she made a point to get personal - for starters, due to covid she requested that we FaceTime versus just a generic phone call, she knew the exact time of sunset a year in advance and asked lots of questions to get to know my husband and I as well as the important people who would be in attendance. I never felt like just another client to Amanda, she truly made us feel like friends. This made everything so much easier and much more seamless than I ever could have imagined. All in all - She captured every single moment so purely and genuinely. It ended up raining most of the day for our wedding which wasn’t ideal, but we had total trust that Amanda would do her magic and make it spectacular no matter what she was thrown with. My husband also broke all 3 clasps of my wedding dress and Amanda (as the photographer and built in seamstress) was the first to begin brainstorming numerous solutions to fix it! We could not be more grateful to Amanda for being the one to capture the most special moment of our entire lives. Literally could not recommend her anymore!

I truly don't even know where to begin in order to convey how incredible Amanda truly is. I was fortunate enough to have been in a friend's wedding that Amanda was shooting and knew that when the day came for me, Amanda would have to be the photographer that shot my wedding as well. That is a decision that I will truly never regret. Our pictures are so beautiful and absolutely perfect in every single way. They more amazing than we could have ever dreamed. Not to mention, she literally got a gallery of thousands of photos back to us within 3 weeks! Amanda is the epitome of a true professional with an infinite amount of talent, but more than that she is a fantastic person. She was the one that sat down with us ahead of time to create a detailed timeline so that when our big day came, we weren't left worrying about where we were supposed to be, what we were supposed to do and gave us piece of mind knowing that everything was taken care of. When I say that you NEED Amanda for your wedding, I am not exaggerating. I would choose her time and time again and I can't wait for her to continue to photograph us throughout all of the chapters of our life. It's difficult to put into words the impact that Amanda had on my wedding day. And it is so much more than just the photos (and trust me, the photos are unreal). Amanda is a calm, kind, and uber-talented professional. She helps to play the role of wedding coordinator, friend, and advisor through the entire process and never lets you skip a beat. We planned a wedding from another state, during the pandemic, and Amanda was one of our rocks through it all. Her Tip Tuesday's via Instagram Stories saved me on more than one occasion! Amanda is a vendor I would truly recommend booking your wedding date and venue around her schedule. She is truly THAT incredible. And her collaboration and services are one of the best investments (hands down!) that you will have from your wedding day. In regards to her photography, her work speaks for herself, but Amanda (and Alex) truly make you feel like stars of your own movie. I still can't believe that some of the photos captured are of me, but Amanda has a way of capturing your essence, and those candid moments, better than anyone else. (And how about those black and white photos...I mean come on!!!) Overall, Amanda is a vendor that you will NOT regret. Don't hesitate!

We couldn't be happier with our wedding photos and entire experience working with Amanda. I remember as soon as she arrived the morning of the wedding I told her "we are running behind!" in a panic as I was anticipating the rest of the day to be thrown off due to makeup taking longer than expected. She reassured me knowing we had plenty of time as she created our timeline for the day with cushion time for these exact reasons. She was right and the day never felt rushed, in fact we had some down time before the ceremony which was much needed. Amanda is incredibly talented and knows exactly what to do to produce beautiful images. We got our gallery back so quickly and couldn't believe how many photos we had to chose from. Amanda is an amazing photographer and an amazing all-around person! From my wedding day, something I didn't expect was how many people would compliment my photographer... but that's what happened! Amanda was absolutely lovely to be around and and made everyone feel comfortable. My wedding day was quite hectic - from a tropical storm and hail in the morning to heat in the afternoon and a large, wild party of 250+, Amanda didn't falter once. She was also so timely and kind with her responses as well as delivering the beautiful gallery. I absolutely recommend Amanda for your wedding day photographer :)

I fell in love with Amanda's photos and I knew I had to have her as our wedding photographer. Amanda was much more than a photographer - she was a voice of reason, wedding expert, meteorologist and confidant. She was so helpful and understanding when dealing with COVID and rescheduling. On my wedding day I was worried about some stains on my dress. Amanda instantly wiped the dirt off my dress onto her pants and brought out a stain remover/positioned me to hide the stain. Our photos turned out great and are true keepsakes! I have so many favorites and our families are thrilled with the photos. Amanda was organized and professional getting all the shots we wanted, keeping everyone calm, and capturing the beautiful moments. I can't recommend Amanda and her team enough!

Stop looking for other photographers and pray right now that Amanda is open on your chosen date! We just celebrated my daughter's wedding 6/27/21. We had booked Amanda for our pre-pandemic wedding and fell in love with her work, and her wisdom, on instagram while we were waiting for the wedding. When we realized Covid was going to require a postponement, we did not want to proceed without her. Truly. Of the dates our venue could do, Amanda was the one constant we were not willing to go without. And mind you, we barely knew her. She is just such a joy. An artist. A mother. A story teller. A friend. She was invaluable providing a timeline for our day and we never once felt rushed. If anything, we had excess down time which I think everyone welcomed. She shares glimpses of her own loves - family, travel, food - freely on instagram so you truly feel like she is a part of your life. It makes the day so much more special because it doesn't feel like you have a stranger peeking in on all these special moments, but instead a friend without which you cannot imagine doing the day. She provided a gorgeous montage within hours of the wedding and followed up with still shots that are magnificent. We don't even have all of the photos yet, but I have no concerns that they will be anything less than astounding. For a day in which I wish I could relive over and over, but only happens once in a daughter's lifetime, I know that through Amanda's photos, I will be able to revisit this dreamy day as often as I like.

Mother of the bride here. You NEED Amanda to photograph your wedding. She is beyond amazing. Amanda has vision, style, and an eye for details. She is a phenomenal photographer and an overall wonderful human. In addition to the stunning photos you will receive from your wedding, you will spend a lot of time with a calm, reassuring, kind, brilliant woman. This isn’t her first rodeo and she absolutely knows all the ways to help make your wedding perfect. Our pictures are my favorite part of my daughters wedding. I love love love them. After the cake had been eaten, the flowers wilted, and your dress preserved, you will be left with your memories AND your photographs. You owe it to yourself to have Amanda photograph your wedding.

Amanda is the best of the best - in every category that you would be looking for in a wedding vendor. She is professional, punctual, personable, eager to work with you, passionate about her work, and brilliant in her craft. She was an excellent resource for all things "wedding" throughout the entire planning process. I stayed fairly low-key with decorations, florals, etc. and she still made our wedding photos look like they should be in a magazine. Also, when the occasional thing would go sideways on wedding day (A hair emergency or an uncooperative child) she was exceptionally calm and helped solve the problem. That is exactly who you want around you on your wedding day. As for the actual product, her photos, we absolutely adore them. Our friends and family's general feedback has been "Every single photo is stunning". And it's true. Amanda was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

Amanda is INCREDIBLE. I found Amanda on Instagram and was instantly drawn to her stunning photos. After browsing her blog (even before I was engaged), I knew she had to be our wedding photographer. I emailed her in the car after booking our venue to check her availability and booked her soon after. I never looked back. Amanda’s work is timeless. Her talent speaks for itself and I love that her photographs tell stories. She also became so much more than our photographer. She was there to answer any and all questions about wedding planning. Need a vendor recommendation? Amanda has plenty. When we had to postpone our wedding twice, she was so helpful and kind and worked to put me at ease even though it was an incredibly stressful time for the whole industry. I really got to know her through that process and she is an amazing person with a heart of gold. She is so empathetic. She answered so many questions through multiple planning meetings, created the timeline for our entire day, and calmed me down where there was briefly rain in the forecast for our day. On our wedding day, she brought such a positive energy that immediately put me at ease even though I was a ball of nerves. She knows how to make anyone feel comfortable in front of the camera (and wasn’t at all pushy with my husband who doesn’t love having his picture taken). Our families and our bridal party loved her and Amber. I will treasure the photos Amanda took on our wedding day for forever. She managed to capture every single moment big and small. Every moment we wanted to remember is memorialized forever by Amanda and we are so grateful (our heirlooms as Amanda would say!). Having Amanda with us on our day was one of the best decisions we made and I would recommend her to anyone.

This review is quite delayed (my husband and I got married on February 14, 2020), but after reminiscing about our wedding day recently, we both felt it was necessary to share what an amazing photographer Amanda Donaho is for anyone who is in search of one for their wedding; you’ll be hard pressed to find someone who comes more highly recommended than her. Amanda is extremely personable, professional, and provides her clients with sense of comfort that everything will be okay on the day of the wedding despite whatever unexpected things may arise. Amanda did a great job capturing the beauty of our venue (The Monastery), all the key elements of our ceremony, and the miscellaneous details throughout the day that helps us look back fondly on our wedding. Most importantly, she did an amazing job of capturing very touching moments between us and our our family and friends. Amanda came highly recommended to us and we felt she not only met but exceeded all of our expectations. For anyone considering Amanda for their wedding photos we’d highly encourage using her as well for engagement photos. My husband and I believe having this extra touchpoint with her helped us further increase our level of comfort with her behind the lens and ultimately led to us being able to be our authentic selfs the day of the wedding which allowed Amanda to capture some truly amazing photos of us and our families. We are excited to be able to use Amanda in the future as we enter new life stages and look forward to her capturing moments with our growing family. We are extremely happy and feel so fortunate that we were able to have had her behind the camera on our wedding day.

We LOVE our wedding photos! And Amanda was an absolute delight to work with on our day. She was organized, experienced and made the photography portions of the day seamless! We didn't do an engagement shoot before the wedding, but felt completely comfortable with her, and it shows in our photos. No poses felt forced. She was creative, and did a wonderful job capturing the special parts of our day. I'm so happy she was with us on the big day!

So much to say! Amanda was truly such an integral part of the whole wedding weekend. Jake and I felt so comfortable with her and we completely trusted her and knew we could rely on her to do a great job. She is phenomenal with details and organization. Especially with the roller coaster that this year ended up being, we couldn't be happier that we went forward with our wedding and Amanda was happy to be flexible and brainstorm with us how to go about things. Recommend 10/10 ... not to mention, the pictures were outstanding and are already sprinkled all over our new home. We are in love with them and how they bring us endless snapshots of our special day.

I don't know where to begin, I've been meaning to write this review for weeks! I researched TONS of wedding photographers and nobody compared to the style and quality of Amanda's photos. I planned my wedding for fall of this year but unfortunately crazy 2020 had other plans for this year. Throughout countless emails with Amanda as I was contemplating postponing, deciding to postpone, moving engagement sessions and ultimately choosing a new date she was flexible, honest, and supportive. We did our engagement session recently on our original wedding date and actually had so much fun! Amanda made us feel so comfortable and took such beautiful photos. I 100% recommend Amanda and cannot wait to have her photograph our wedding next year!

Amanda is so talented and such a pleasure to work with. From the day my daughter and her then fiancé chose Amanda, I knew they (and all of us!) would be in wonderful hands. When I first got engaged, I had done some research on photographers and was instantly drawn to the style of Amanda’s work. Although she was not available, Amber Dawson (who works through Amanda’s company) was available and had a very similar style. She was such an excellent choice to photograph our wedding. We cannot recommend her enough! My husband and I both did not have any experience in front of the camera, and she had us laughing and enjoying each other the entire time. Amber was so patient with me through countless emails and long phone calls – she made the process seamless! The photos from our wedding are absolutely beautiful, and we are receiving endless feedback on how great they are. You are a rock star Amber!

If I could give Amanda 100 stars, I totally would!! My fiancé and I had the best time at our engagement session with her. I’m not one who particularly likes to be in front of the camera, but she made me feel so comfortable and confident! She is a master at her craft and we are so excited to have her capture our big day!

It has taken me six weeks to write this review because I couldnt find the words to describe just how amazing Amanda is. While I still don’t believe anything I could say could possibly do her justice, this is my best attempt. I found Amanda via Facebook after she had photographed an acquaintances wedding in 2017. I began following her on multiple social media platforms and fell even more in love with her work. When I got engaged I knew I HAD to reach out to Amanda. As luck would have it, she was available on my date. While I knew I would receive amazing photos from Amanda, I never could have dreamed of a better guide, confidant, or comforter. Wedding planning in 2020 threw my husband and I some serious curve balls that included considering postponing our date and changing our venue. Amanda was there to answer ALL of my emails and even called me just to check in. The day of my wedding, Amanda was a dream. She was organized, kept us on schedule and calmed a few nerves. Her eye for detail, organization and caring heart is unmatched. When you book Amanda, you get a great photographer but you also get so much more!

It is hard to put into words how wonderful Amanda is. Amanda photographed my sister's wedding in 2017 and it was a no brainer that my fiancé and I would only pick a wedding date if she was available. I have been fortunate enough to have Amanda shoot my engagement photos, and with the pandemic moving the wedding an "UnSave the Date" shoot. Both shoots resulted in photos I will love for a lifetime and a true friend in Amanda. I go to her now to show her my dress, my venue, ask advice, and look to her for so much guidance outside of being a photographer. We are so lucky to have her coming to Chicago next year to shoot our big day after all this waiting! She is sharp and compassionate, a must have vendor to book for your day!

Amazing, amazing, amazing! My husband does not like being the center of attention or taking a lot of pictures and she made it so fun and so easy. She made sure we stayed on our timeline and was so helpful with questions we had that had nothing to do with photography. Our pictures turned out incredible, I've looked at them everyday since we got them back. Can't recommend enough!

I originally met Amanda as a bridesmaid in my best friend’s wedding. When I got engaged myself she was the first vendor I called. She is AMAZING! She is creative, organized, makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and makes your wedding day go so smoothly. She has great suggestions and is also incredibly receptive to your input. She captured our wedding day perfectly, and I can’t recommend her enough!

There aren't enough stars here to rate Amanda's work. She is truly brilliant at capturing the exact right moments and expressions to feel what you felt in that moment every time you look at her photos. Planning was super easy and made me feel confident and comfortable the day of our wedding. If you're at all worried about the price she charges, you should definitely know that Amanda really goes beyond just being "the photographer" and helps in any way she can, making the bride feel perfectly at ease. During the ceremony and reception, her and her assistant were unnoticeable in the best way and during the cocktail hour photos she was masterfully efficient! Choosing a subset of photos for the wedding album was as impossible a task as any, with so many gorgeous shots. AH-MAZING! I found Amanda via Instagram stalking of Cincinnati area wedding photographers. I instantly became obsessed with her style, editing, artistic eye for shots, and her involvement on social media. She struck me as someone who is truly passionate about their work and who invests 100% in their clients. When I got engaged Amanda was the first person I reached out to (yes before I had even picked a date or a venue). As a first time bride new to this whole wedding planning game I quickly realized how talented Amanda is and what a strong brand she has developed for herself. With this being said, I was very disappointed when my fiance and I decided Amanda was out of our budget. But once again Amanda wow’ed me in her willingness to think of other options and figure out a way to work within my budget. She recommended I book her lead assistant photographer and I immediately agreed! Amber shot our engagement session as well as our wedding day and captured the most beautiful photos that will forever be our keepsake of the day. From the beginning stages of planning, to picking out day of photo locations, Amber and Amanda were wonderful! I watched Amanda’s Tip Tuesday every week on Instagram and I cannot tell you how valuable those tips are! Even if Amanda is not your photographer, she is a great person to follow to get inside tips and tricks for your wedding day! Amber was so easy to work with, she is very professional and always there to answer all my questions and provide great suggestions. If there is one thing I learned from wedding planning its to make sure you book a great photographer. Spend all your money on photography and entertainment (dj/band) because those are the memories that will literally last a lifetime. When we received our photo gallery my husband and I sat for hours looking through all the images and crying. Amber captured the most beautiful shots of our wedding day and I still can't get over how amazing they are! We will cherish these images and share them with generations to come! Wedding planning can be overwhelming, but if you book the right vendors you will create a supportive team that makes everything feel seamless!

Amanda is the absolute best! She goes above and beyond for every single picture taken. Coming from a bride that was clueless on a lot of things, Amanda was so kind enough to help us every step of the way. She can literally do it all. From the wedding day timeline to room set up, to even fixing my brother-in-law’s man bun for the wedding . Literally she’s amazing at everything she does. I’ve received so many compliments regarding our pictures and how they should be in a magazine. When we first got engaged - I am not kidding when I say our entire wedding was based around Amanda's schedule and availability. I met Amanda 6 years ago when she shot my sisters wedding and my family just adored her and clicked so quickly. I have a big personality - but despise being in front of camera. My now Husband is an introvert to the extreme - so picking a photographer that picked up on what worked best for us was crucial. John had never met Amanda, but always trust my judgement. Amanda also did our engagement photos in Lexington, KY - John immediately gravitated to her, appreciated her style of work and her professionalism. Nothing, I mean nothing was forced - none of her photos are the exact same because every couple is different. John appreciated her direction and her relaxation during that photo shoot - and when it was over, he said that was the perfect choice and he was so excited to have her shoot our wedding day! Fast forward to our big day, Amanda is the ultimate hype woman. She made me feel like a billion bucks. I felt so confident, I felt so vulnerable in the best way. John's wedding gift was so personal and I was ugly crying and Amanda documented it in the best way possible, allowing me to have that raw moment. It rained 90% of wedding day - so we had some curve balls - I wasn't even stressed about it because Amanda handled it like a pro, and we seriously have the best photos! I would recommend Amanda for any type of personality, Type A or B. Any type of couple dynamic. She is seriously a people person, professional always, and hands down the best investment we made on our wedding day!

Amanda was the first vendor we booked for our wedding, in fact, we chose our wedding date based upon her availability. I know this sounds a little crazy, but when you see what Amanda is capable of behind the camera - she’s the only person I wanted capturing our story. Amanda’s pictures speak for themselves, but what really had me head over heals for Amanda, after we signed her on for our May wedding, was so much more than the photos themselves. She made two awkward people feel comfortable in front of the camera, offered advice every step of the way, patiently listened to our plans for the big day, and helped make some of the most special moments happen for us. Everyone will tell you that the day goes by so fast, and to make sure you take a few minutes to really live in what is happening, easier said than done... but Amanda helped slow down time a few times for us on our wedding day. I had a few great quiet moments with my stoic dad (who was actually captured smiling!) and our private first look that she helped orchestrate was one of my favorite parts of the day. She even managed to make our three year old nephew’s tantrums look kind of adorable in pictures. I can’t thank her enough, recommend her enough, or wait to work with her for the next big moments in our lives that need her story telling.

Amanda is absolutely AMAZING! Amanda goes above and beyond to ensure not just your photos are beautiful but your event is perfect. Amanda and her assistant at my wedding were so kind and created a relaxing environment to shoot photos on such a crazy emotional day. Amanda isn’t just kind though, this woman HUSTLES! You can tell she works so hard to fit every moment into a perfect picture which I love. She doesn’t waste a single second of your time and values your special day like she has known you for years! I will for sure be using Amanda again for other major life moments because of how FLAWLESS she was. I am so happy with every single photo she created and it brings a HUGE smile to my face every time I look at them! Amanda is outstanding. She is by far the most selfless, organized, and talented photographer someone could ask for. She made my wedding day run perfectly and our photos are absolutely stunning. So I’m the biggest procrastinator in the world and have been meaning to write this review since before my wedding because I’ve knew my pictures were going to turn out amazing even before the wedding happened because Amanda is that amazing. But here’s the thing... for all you future brides out there... picking your wedding photographer isn’t just about the pictures (let’s be real... you already know Amanda takes the most amazing pictures or you wouldn’t be reading these reviews), so this isn’t really about the pictures.. her work speaks for itself... if you don’t follow her on Instagram just head over there right after you finishing reading this. Here’s the thing... on your wedding day there is a lot going on and no matter how calm, cool, and collected you are... things will get crazy! Amanda literally runs the best show - her timeline is amazing, she handles massive families, and big bridal parties with ease, she doesn’t miss a beat. I was in a wedding a few weeks later and I texted Amanda - “holy cow, I mean I already knew you were the best but OMG you run a good show, the photographer has no clue what’s going on!” I cannot stress this enough, I have been in a zillion wedding, I have never seen another photographer with the organization, patience, calmness, and ability to direct a room the way Amanda does. Amanda wasn’t just my photographer, she was my best friend (I mean she doesn’t know we are besties but I think we are) and I picked her as my photographer because I wanted her by my side on my wedding day! And thank goodness she was, because my lips full of bright pink lipstick went smack dap onto my stark white dress as I was putting it on.... As everyone was rushing around trying to figure out what to do, Amanda calmly came over and said.. it’s the middle of the day on a Friday, the dress shop will be open, where is your dress from, who is the designer, and do you know the style or fabric? You guys, she CALLED the dress shop and found out what to do. This is what I’m talking about, it’s literally like having the world’s best friend and most seasoned wedding participant with you all day. I did not stress for a second of that day because I had Amanda! Another thing, your wedding and pictures are super intimate, you want someone photographing you who you feel comfortable with and makes you feel at ease, again... I felt like Amanda was my bestie (even though my wedding day was only the second time we ever met in person, I felt like I knew her forever). Amanda is a unicorn - she is talented beyond compare but is also the most kind person and will go above and beyond for you. Our pictures our breathtaking and we will treasure them forever, but more than that, I will forever remember Amanda because she played the biggest part of my wedding day - she kept me calm, happy, on time, and made me look beautiful. I honestly cannot imagine my day without her. Don’t think about it for another second, contact her now and make sure she’s is available for your day!

I have been looking forward to writing a review for Amanda since the day following my wedding. I always thought people post too many of their wedding photos and I think they should only post the very best ones (quality and moments). I am not kidding when I say that every single photo Amanda sent me (exactly one month to the day after like what?!!) was perfectly presented and executed. She KILLS it! Maybe I am slightly biased (lol) but truly I never thought my photos would turn out that perfectly. I was hoping for rain on my wedding day (lucas and brooke davis one tree hill heyyy!) and it was a cloudy day with raindrops coming and going. The lighting was incredibly dreamy and Amanda gave me every shot I could ever want. But really it's not even just the ones of my husband and myself- the photos of my bridesmaids and family and friends all look so beautiful. I have received so many compliments on the photos from people near and far and friends saying they were the best wedding photos they have ever seen. I am just so thankful for all of the images bringing back the emotions of the day. What an art. So thank you, Amanda! And for future brides, you can't pick a better photographer to be around, to help with your dress, to tell you what angles work for you, and to feel safe and calm with. It was all SO fun. :)

Amanda was the first, and BEST decision my husband and I made in our wedding planning. Even prior to us confirming our church and reception venue, we had reached out and she immediately dove right in with venue suggestions! The day of our wedding, Amanda was everywhere, and nowhere at the same time - capturing every single memory of our day to perfection! She not only shot all of the more posed family and bridal party pictures, but more importantly (in our opinion), all of the little moments that my husband and I will cherish looking back on most! I would, and already do, recommend Amanda Donaho Photography to ANY bride and groom who value their photos as much as we do. Can we give Amanda 10/5 stars?! She deserves ALL of them. Hiring Amanda as our photographer was the BEST decision we made for our wedding - you cannot go wrong when choosing her. From the moment you contact her, you know that she truly cares about you as a couple. She is extremely responsive to email and eases your mind when it comes to any concern. What we love the most about Amanda is that she truly goes above and beyond for you any time you are with her. Our wedding day quite unfortunately was basically a monsoon. I'm talking an ALL DAY downpour. From the moment I reached out to Amanda on our wedding week freaking out about the rain she was able to calm me down and assure me she had a fool-proof rain game plan. She advised us to be flexible, to trust her, and to buy umbrellas - but told us not to worry at all because she had it all under control. And WOW did she nail it on the wedding day! Despite the downpour, Amanda made sure we got INCREDIBLE wedding photos. She moved huge couches so we could have our first look indoors but still made the space beautiful. When we couldn't take pictures at our original locations, she came up with new locations on the fly that were just as great as the planned ones. She fixed my dress multiple times when the sleeves kept coming off. She fixed my hair when the hurricane-like winds kept messing it up. She dried my tears when I lost it during our first look. I mean she truly went above and beyond for us. She felt like a friend on our wedding day and was reason we had the day of our dreams despite having to scrap all of our original plans. We don't know what we would've done without her and are so very thankful for all of her hard work. Our pictures turned out amazing, and most importantly we had a fantastic time and didn't have to worry about anything on our big day. We cannot stress enough how amazing Amanda is - without a doubt she will make your day magical.

A photographer was one of the first things we booked after selecting our venue and wedding date. Thank goodness we did because Amanda is amazing!! She goes above and beyond her role to ensure everything goes smoothly. She almost doubles as a wedding planner, helping to create day of timelines and organize all the little details. Oh Friends, 5 stars just isn't enough for Amanda. I've know Amanda and have been following her since she shot my sisters wedding.. 7 years ago. Since then, she's become part of our family. She's worked with friends, and again with our family just last year at my younger sister's wedding in Columbus, OH. This year she traveled to Cleveland to shoot our wedding, and we could not have been happier to have her not only work with us, be a huge part our day. She goes, above and beyond, she knows exactly who to go to if there is a problem, and has no issue making sure nothing gets in your way. I was in my best friend’s wedding in July of 2016 when I came across her photographer, Amanda. I was so impressed by her poise, professionalism, and creativity. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one. My now husband, then boyfriend, noticed everything I noticed about her from the audience. After we left, he said, “You know we have to hire her when we get engaged, right?” I was so glad he said that because obviously that was on my mind, too! “Yep. One of the best decisions of our wedding planning process was to book Amber with Amanda Donaho Photography! Amber and Amanda were both amazing, detailed, and accommodating from the first e-mail to the moment we received our beautiful photos. I cannot say enough great things about Amanda - and really don't know where to begin! My husband and I did not have a wedding planner, so we planned everything by ourselves... + Amanda. Every question we had, we sent to her, and she responded right away. She helped us plan our wedding timeline, gave recommendations for basically every other vendor (all of whom we loved), and helped capture our engagement/wedding exactly how we had imagined. I'm so thankful that we booked Amanda as our engagement/wedding photographer! Aside from booking our venue, a photographer was our second priority for all things wedding. My husband and I spent many hours researching photographers but kept coming back to Amanda's bright, crisp, colorful, classic, and emotional images. What only a review will tell you is that her services extend FAR beyond the talent of photographing. She is warm, kind, personable and was helpful in ways I would never have imagined. From executing my list of about 100 different family photos (I have a very blended family), to learning family members' names quickly (and wanting to always be sure she pronounced every name correctly)- she directed and coordinated our photos in the most seamless way. No one in our bridal party/family was wondering which picture they were supposed to be in. Her instincts with posing, positioning, and directing a larger group were invaluable and kept our schedule flowing nicely. She even helped my mom bustle my dress! This is something I will never forget when I think back to our wedding day. She captured all of the important moments of our wedding ceremony and reception- even the little details- many of which we hadn't even thought of. She helped me coordinate my day of wedding schedule and even guided me in terms of many non-photography specific items (hair/make up, order of events on day of). There are really not enough positive things I could say in this review to accurately describe Amanda's services and skills for our big day. My husband and I discussed how amazing she was multiple times on our honeymoon. My husband hates, I mean HATES taking pictures (and of course I love, I mean LOVE pictures), and he enjoyed both our engagement session and the entire day of pictures at our wedding with Amanda. Not a single person in a wedding party of 24 complained about the picture process because Amanda made it so seamless. Her eye for details- someone in the background, a bow tie tilted, a string out of place, a branch poking out in the background too far, etc.- is impeccable. She was always incredibly friendly, never rude or too pushy like photographers can be sometimes, and she captured every shot I asked her to get before the big day and then some. All of our parents have commented about how professional and wonderful she was on the wedding day. I was nervous about spending so much on a photographer, but I decided it's the only thing that lasts after the day is over and she was worth every single penny! We just got married a couple weeks ago, and we've already received over 1,000 photos and the rest are on the way. Our wedding day would not have been as perfect as it was if it weren't for Amanda! Hands down, Amanda was our vendor MVP!

I knew from the beginning that my photographer was something I was not going to settle for! There are tons of great photographers out there, but I am 100% sure I had the best! Amanda was the second photographer I had met and it was no-brainer!! Amanda discussed every detail from the beginning and was always there for me to lean on when I needed help, advice, or a pick me up! Amanda helped between engagement shoot and the wedding day with timelines, last minute questions and suggestions and helped me when I had two weeks to find a new hair and makeup artist! Just sayin'... She really is amazing! Onto the wedding, WOW did she do great! We had her 3 hours prior to the ceremony and for the rest of the evening. She had her husband, Hayden, with her - he's just as awesome! Amanda took every single photo I could have ever wanted and more! she was open to photo suggestions the day of but was sure we received everything we asked for and then some! I did not have to stress about anything - she took care of me and the day!! Her photos speak for themselves! They're stunning, full of emotion, real, and beautiful! We are blessed to have gotten on her calendar and to have built a relationship! I cannot say it enough, she's AH-MAZ-ING! You will not be let down!

Our wedding photographer was the hardest vendor for us to find. We searched through so many portfolios of other photographers and everything looked the same. Then we came across Amanda Donaho. Her work was bright, crisp, clean, and looked natural which was very important to us. When we met with her in person, we knew instantly that we had to book her. She was incredibly professional and showed sincere interest in getting to know us. We booked her for our wedding and our engagement session. The engagement session was a great way for us to get to know her a bit more before the wedding. My husband and I are both introverts, so we were slightly dreading posing awkwardly during our engagement session. To our surprise, it wasn't awkward at all. Amanda was so quick at snapping and directing us, that it was actually a lot of fun. Our engagement photos turned out absolutely beautiful and a few months later, one of her photos of us was featured in The Knot Ohio magazine! During the months leading up to the wedding, Amanda would check in every now and then to see if I had any questions or if she could help me with finding any vendors. A couple weeks before the wedding, Amanda had me put together a timeline that she reviewed and tweaked based on her previous experience with weddings. We were so impressed with the details she talked through and I can't even tell you what a HUGE help this was to have her guidance. On the day of the wedding, Amanda and her husband Hayden arrived right on time. Amanda made sure that we stuck to the timeline and was a great help in conducting our First Look. During our family photos, we got so many comments right away from our bridal party and family who recognized how professional Amanda and Hayden were and how quickly they moved and directed our very large group. Amanda knew so many great locations to take our wedding photos since she has had experience photographing so many weddings. While my husband and I were on our honeymoon, Amanda posted a blog entry that showed a small preview of our wedding photos. We were so excited to see those while winding down from the crazy wedding weekend! Our online gallery of photos arrived within a couple weeks, which was a lot faster than what we expected. Our photos turned out AMAZING! We couldn't have asked for a better photographer. Amanda Donaho is unique in that she's not only your wedding photographer, but she's also there as an honest resource for planning your wedding day. We loved working with Amanda and Hayden, and can't say enough how highly we recommend them.

Where do I begin??? Amanda was such a blessing to us and she is so much more than a great photographer. Amanda is a great planner/consultant; She helped me with the wedding day timeline and everything went so smoothly. She is experienced and she knows what she is doing. We were on schedule the day of the wedding and I knew I could just relax and enjoy the moment because of her. Amanda has a wonderful gift of being able to capture life's most precious moments. She is so creative and has wonderful ideas. We had Amanda do our engagement and wedding photos and we also got the Italian leather album. Everything turned out so well and we had such a wonderful experience with her, that Amanda will be our go-to photographer for any future family photos we may have. She is truly talented and you can tell she loves what she does and it shows in her work.

For my wedding, I had Amanda and her husband, Hayden, on my wedding day. They spent the entire day with me and they were so much fun! All of my bridesmaids told me how much fun my photographers were- they really made everyone in the wedding party feel relaxed! One of my friends is getting married a year from now and she was asking me about photographers. Before I could even comment, my one bridesmaid blurted out, "You should go with Amanda Donaho!! She was so much fun and Susie's pictures from the wedding are GORGEOUS!" I absolutely love my pictures and although she is a little pricey, she makes sure you get your $ worth. My husband and I joked after the wedding that we needed her around to document our entire lives- they truly can capture emotion on film making our memories of our wedding so fresh it's like we are reliving it!

Sometimes you just know when you've found the right vendor and that was our experience meeting with Amanda. Her pictures are amazing and we were happy that she had shot at both of our locations previously (The Center and Norman Chapel). I'm quite awkward when I know someone is taking my picture. In the past, our photos have been a disappointment, so I was preparing myself for the worse on our wedding day. To my surprise, I forgot they were even there! They were so polite and unobtrusive that we had wedding quests coming up to say how awesome our photographers were. And just to add, Amanda and Hayden have great personalities - they even took the slight harassment and sarcasm like champs (hey, we like to joke around)! Amanda was patient with me when creating our timeline (trust me, this took a lot of patience during her busiest month) and worked with all of our vendors to deliver the final times and expectations. On the wedding day, she was able to hit every location and photo we asked for and even suggested alternate sites for the best images. Aside, from Amanda's professionalism, the pictures speak for themselves. We are beyond thrilled and every step of the process has been incredible. Amanda was a great photographer! I had searched and searched for weeks to find a photographer for our wedding. I contacted photographers from Louisville, Lexington, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati. I couldn't be happier that Amanda was able to capture our wedding in Cincinnati. She responds very quickly to e-mails and was very helpful in setting the time-line for our wedding. Amanda is amazing! She is highly professional, takes beautiful pictures, and makes everyone involved in the wedding feel completely at ease during the entire day and the months leading up to it. She was especially awesome with keeping us on our schedule on our big day and helping us figure out how to roll with any bumps that came up. She went above and beyond in every way!
