Amanda James

I was one of the thousands of brides who had their wedding plans flipped upside down by the pandemic. But the silver lining was discovering Amanda James!!! After changing our plans 100 times, my husband and I decided to go to the courthouse and elope. I then searched high and low for a pantsuit, white suit, short dress, top & skirt set, or anything courthouse appropriate. But everything was off, weird, didn't fit right, and just felt old. But then through instagram, I luckily found a picture of the Jasmine pantsuit by Amanda James. I made an appointment to meet Amanda immediately, then drove from San Diego to LA to meet her. I literally put on this pantsuit and knew it was the one. I mean... there are no words for how beautiful, young, and chic I felt!!! I felt like a modern version of a guest at a great gatsby party!!! Additionally, throughout the entire process, Amanda was amazing & SO communicative especially with everything going on with the pandemic. First, Amanda really listened to what I wanted out of the pantsuit - including making it not so low in the front and less of a boot cut. Second, and most importantly, Amanda always made sure to make me as a bride feel save while Covid-19 was ongoing - Amanda always had masks and hand sanitizer ready at her studio and offered to do zoom/online fittings. When we had to do in-person fittings, Amanda kept a safe distance, wore a mask the entire time, and took every precaution. Even with all of this - I mean doing custom fittings with a mask on is quite awkward - Amanda made the entire experience SO SPECIAL and the final product was so stunning!!!! I loved my experience so much that I asked Amanda to design my reception party dress for late 2021! Really, there are no words that can define how unique and beautiful I felt on the day of my wedding!!! I continue to this day to get compliments on my bridal jumpsuit.
