Our photos are romantic with a touch of playfulness, highlighting the love and connection you have with each other. Neutral color palettes, an abundance of greenery, soft light, and genuine joy inspire us. We love to capture details and memories that you will treasure, and are honored to be welcomed into the intimate moments of your lives.
In order to give our clients the personal experience and careful attention they deserve, we offer full day wedding coverage (no hourly restrictions) and only photograph a select number of weddings and engagements per year. nquiry. We immediately felt it was the right fit for our wedding. We first did engagement photos with Amanda. Even though it was our first time meeting her in person, she immediately made us feel comfortable in such an intimate setting. Our engagement photos were so beautiful and we got so many compliments. Some of the photos looked like they were out of a magazine. She has such an artistic eye and her personality allows you to feel comfortable being intimate with your partner. We tend to be more reserved people and she was able to make us feel comfortable and the photos really show our love for each other. Now on to the wedding! Amanda was so great during the preparation process and helped us plan our vision for our wedding day. She kept notes on who or what we wanted photos of and kept us moving throughout the day. We got married on the hottest day in July, and Amanda and Jason made the day move seamlessly and made sure we got all the photos we wanted without us passing out from the heat! We are so thrilled with our wedding photos as you could never tell it was almost a hundred degrees outside. They are so beautiful and romantic and they were able to capture all of our special moments from the day. They both are so professional and it felt like during those special moments they blended in that we didn’t even realize someone was taking our picture. We were so impressed with the quality and the amount of photos from our wedding, that it made it hard to choose our favorites! Amanda was also very prompt in getting our photos to us. I had expected about a month to receive them, when I got an email on our flight home from our honeymoon with our gallery. We were so excited that we probably overloaded the plane’s wifi. We are so happy that we found Amanda and Jason for our wedding and hope to use them again for other life events!

Throughout the entire process of planning our wedding and through phone conversations, our engagement shoot, and via Instagram interactions, Amanda was so nice and helpful to us in planning our big day. My wedding party, family, and guests have all mentioned how relaxed, friendly, professional, and fun Amanda and Jason both were on wedding day. Even when I was worried we were off-schedule, running behind, or we were being too silly during photo times, Amanda reassured me that it was our day and that she was there to capture it! She never made us feel rushed or uncomfortable. She helped to make me feel comfortable and confident in myself and her photos make me feel so beautiful. When I told Amanda that we wanted to take a photo at the restaurant where we had our first date at dinner hour on a Saturday on Cape Cod, she without hesitation agreed and she and Jason accompanied us and got some great photos! with incredibly responsive emails in between. Our wedding was in VT while Amanda and Jason are based out of Mass, but we were never made to feel like it was a hassle. Their personalities are so easy to mesh with, and Amanda is great at helping camera-shy people feel relaxed and natural.
Now for their work - the photography is unparalleled. I was incredibly picky about photographers during my planning process, not knowing exactly what I was looking for, but knowing I'd recognize it when I saw it. Amanda MacDonald Photography was the perfect fit - the style is airy and romantic, light but still saturated, and the most beautiful, high-quality photography I came across. It fit exactly the tone I was looking for with my wedding photos. If it's not exactly your style, they do have a new company started - Love Wild Photography - that's more daring and "moody" in their editing style, but just as beautiful. You know an artist is incredible when they can tackle such different styles with as much skill as they do.
Overall the process is easy, their personalities are great, and their work is beautiful. I cannot recommend Amanda and Jason of Amanda MacDonald Photography enough! I promise the investment is worth it and you won't ever regret booking them for your wedding.

sited their website. Amanda did our engagement shoot on a rainy day in November 2016 and we managed to sneak in our entire session in a break from the showers! We recently got married in September 2017 and they were so easy-going. Amanda helped calm my nerves as I was getting anxious about time. My husband said at the end of the night that Amanda and Jason are meant for each other, and meant to be doing what they do! They work incredibly well together, and I really loved having their individual and collective eyes to shoot our day. The photos are breathtaking, and I'm so thrilled to have them to look back again and again on our beautiful day!
I can't explain it, other than to say that when I saw their portfolio, you can feel love in every single photograph. We chose not to use a videographer on our day, so it was incredibly important to me to have pictures that told the story of our day. It started raining right when our outdoor ceremony was supposed to happen and I delayed it because we wanted to get married underneath a tree. It cleared up briefly and misted throughout our entire ceremony. Seeing the raindrops on my husband's tux, to me, really highlights our wedding day story. as supposed to be there. As soon as I stopped at Amanda's table, I knew that AMP was the photographer for our June 11, 2016 wedding. We booked Amanda, and a few months later, booked our engagement session. My then fiancé is so uncomfortable in front of the camera, but Amanda managed to capture amazing shots of him, and us as a couple! She even let us bring our furbaby dog to the shoot, and we captured memories with him as well! Our engagement pictures were delivered to us fairly quick, and I was SO happy with the results! It made me that much more excited for our wedding! We met Amanda again a week or so before our big day, and discussed last minute and final details. We even made a change literally 2 days before the wedding that she was more than accommodating on. The day of the wedding, Amanda met me at my parents house, and Jason met the boys at the hotel. My fiancé, again, was not wanting a photographer at the hotel because he's camera shy, but a little convincing from his groomsmen, put Jason right in the fun! Amanda and Jason are a quirky couple who I am so happy to say shot our wedding. The memories that they have created for us are incredible. I literally felt like they weren't even there, in the sense that they were not invasive of our space. Which in a way makes me sad because I wanted to boogie on the dance floor with them!
