Amanda and her team have done work for me in my luxury photography business multiple times and have always done a fabulous job. I have not had a single client leave unhappy. I will happily use them again and again. 5 stars!

I cannot rave about Amanda enough! My boss hired her to spoil our team for a glam night out and the entire group looked STUNNING!!! Watching Amanda work is truly watching magic. She's incredible at mixing to get accurate color matching and it's such a testament to her expertise (I have a dark skin tone, so this is the first thing I look for because it can be a struggle for a lot of artists but not Amanda!!). What blew my mind was when she asked what lip color I want and I babbled incoherently about wanting a nude but not really because I think real nudes look weird on my face. She created this GORGEOUS dark nude pinkish color that looked amazing and I nearly cried because I couldn't bottle it up and keep it with me forever. I cannot rave about Amanda enough, she can do anything and she does it IMMACULATELY. She cannot disappoint -- look no further.

I found Amanda several months before my wedding and she was the only hair and make up artist willing to work on me and my maid of honor. I had issues finding someone who would only work on two people because "my party didn't meet the minimum for a Saturday." Amanda was wonderful the day-of, she did arrive a little late but quickly got set up and started. My hair and make up were stunning and my maid of honors make up was also stunning. Amanda is a perfectionist she would not let us leave until we looked perfect (this did almost make us late) and she took her time making sure each curl was perfect and each eyelash was in place. I did take off one star just due to communication. When I booked with Amanda she told me she was having surgery and after she recovered she we would contact me about a trial, this never happened so we went into my day-of appointment blind. Amanda contacted me the night before asking for my inspo pictures for my hair and make up. Other than some communication issues Amanda was wonderful and I am thankful to have had her in my wedding day.

To say Amanda is AMAZING is an understatement! Her work is gorgeous, her prices are affordable, and she is such a joy to be around! She made me feel like a princess even though my wedding was NOT the day I was expecting (thanks #COVID19). Amanda was still willing to do my make up and all of the mother's and bridal party's make up the day of and for that I am forever grateful! She works efficiently, walks you through everything if you've never had your make up done before (hello false lashes!), and ultimately gives you the look you've been dreaming of. I will forever recommend Amanda to any and all brides! We are even using her again for our rescheduled ceremony later in the year!

AMANDA IS A ROCKSTAR! Listen to words from a former bride--- I followed my mom's recommendation when she said she knew someone who did hair. Even though I was apprehensive, I didn't listen to my gut and I booked and sign my mom's friend (not Amanda). It was a disaster to go with anyone else from the beginning-the week of our wedding, my mom's hair friend texts me that she was on a cruise!!!! Stress doesn't even begin to describe my emotional state. But I got in touch with Amanda and she SAVED THE DAY! I was so lucky she was available, in the busy season she would have been booked for sure!! Amanda was exactly what I needed/wanted from the start- a professional, organized, calm, but in charge enough to get us all wrangled on schedule. Everyone had a beautiful unique hair style that didn't move an INCH the day of, but somehow still looked effortless, elegant, and natural! Amanda easily styled natural curly hair for some of my bridesmaids too without a blip! Fate has a funny way of working! Ladies, do not go with the friend of a friend "who has done weddings before", GO WITH THE PRO (AKA AMANDA MERRELL), YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

Amanda was a pleasure to work with, from start (the makeup trial) to finish (makeup for the bride, wedding party, mothers of bride and groom, grandmother of the groom and aunt of the bride!). She really listened to exactly what the bride (my daughter) wanted and offered suggestions and advice that were spot on for exactly the look the bride intended. Everyone looked like themselves but better - not overdone, not phony, but perfected and the look lasted throughout the entire event! Take her advice on what looks great for photos but bears in mind that your guests will be seeing you face to face as well! She and her crew were right on time and fully prepared for a long morning/afternoon of prepping and her personality added so much to both relieve the stress and add to the excitement of the whole event. I can't say enough about what a great job she did and how totally professional she was, and I don't hesitate in the least to very highly recommend her for any special event that means you want to look your very very best!

I received the bridal concierge package (includes hair and makeup trial with lashes and airbrush, on-site hair and make up for day of, & 2 hours of touch up services) for $700. I really appreciated how flexible Amanda's packages were and how there was not a minimum number needed for services. From start to finish, Amanda was a dream to work with and incredibly responsive via email. During my trial, she was more than accommodating to any changes I had requested. And though my wedding was a whole 9 months later, on the day of the wedding, she remembered the changes I had wanted or the fact that my hair was very quick to curl but I had wanted looser curls. During the 2 hours of touch-up services, she made sure my hair and makeup were perfect for wedding portraits and she also was great to just hang out with. Having her there on my wedding day made it extra fun and special. And her hair and make-up was STUNNING and it held up so well despite tears or how sweaty we all got on the dancefloor. My make-up looked pristine even the next day. Also, my bridesmaids wanted me to include that they really appreciated Amanda's help. Though I did not get my bridesmaids hair and makeup services, she was incredible and helped one of my bridesmaids with small touch-ups of her eyelashes.

I got married September 21, 2019. I booked Amanda in October of 2018. She completed my makeup in addition to 4 other ladies as was her minimum for service. I was a bit nervous, she likes to take her time so took a solid hour on each person. She only had 4 hours to complete our makeup. She did run over by about 45 minutes, but thankfully the way I made our schedule, it didn't cause any problems. I loved how individualized each look was. She was very careful to be sanitary, which she never advertised, but I picked up on and greatly appreciated. My makeup never strayed, even after the cake fight and 90 degree heat. Amanda is lots of fun and you will LOVE her work. Book her!

Amanda was amazing to work with throughout the entire wedding process! We had a trial at her home for hair and make up where she trialed multiple hair styles to see what would work best for the wedding day. On the actual day, all of our hair and make up turned out amazing. All of my bridesmaids were so happy with how their hair/make up came. My hair and make up were exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I would highly recommend Amanda for any bride looking for an amazing hair and make up artist!!

I met Amanda after a not-great experience with another company, and it was such a refreshing change! Amanda was friendly, professional, and super easy to work with. I get really nervous about hair and makeup, so on top of wedding nerves, I was really worried about working with a stylist. But I shouldn't have worried at all! Amanda was calm and helpful. And my hair looked so good that people keep asking to see pictures where they can look at it more closely. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Amanda tied all of my ideas together perfectly, in a stunningly beautiful, yet still understated way. The day-of, she re-created the hair and make-up exactly as we had discussed. It was not until Amanda completed her work that I truly felt like "a bride." She also sent me off with a touch-up kit, just in case. My make-up held perfectly, but it was incredibly thoughtful. The bridesmaids also looked GORGEOUS. Their dresses were dark green and Amanda created palates that complimented the wintry feel of our wedding. Never once during the wedding did they have to worry - Amanda is such a pro - their hair and make-up also stayed in place all evening. Amanda is the best! She was so warm and welcoming to me and truly wanted to know my vision for my hair and makeup for my engagement pictures. She was really flexible and understanding when we had to reschedule last minute due to weather. My hair and makeup held up incredibly throughout the day and I was so bummed to wash away her beautiful work at the end of the day! Amanda does gorgeous work. She is also incredibly kind and thoughtful. I am allergic to avocados and mangoes, which are two very popular ingredients in beauty products these days. She took the time to read through the ingredient list of all of her products to ensure I would not have to worry about an allergy attack on my wedding day. She is amazing at doing hair and does such an expert job of doing natural makeup with fun pops. Amanda - thank you for everything.

Amanda was fantastic! Gorgeous makeup with great suggestions. From my first e-mail up through the wedding day, Amanda helped me figure out my makeup for both my wedding and engagement session. She also did my bridesmaids' and mom's makeup flawlessly. It lasted forever (airbrush) and looked amazing. She was warm, fun, and an absolute pleasure to work with, and recommend her to anyone!

Amanda was absolutely wonderful! From my first email with her to the trial to the big day! She always answered any questions in a timely manner and really listened to what I wanted. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous hair and makeup from a very talented artist. I had my makeup and hair done by Amanda for our Nepali Hindu ceremony. Our wedding was performed outside during the summer, so sweat and heat were a big concern for me. In addition, with a bright color palette (my saree was a vibrant red), I had more unusual hair and makeup ideas in mind. From our first trial, I knew I was in excellent hands with Amanda. She knew exactly what type of makeup to use for our potentially humid conditions and used our trials to experiment meticulously until we were 100 percent confident in the look I wanted. She's an expert with both traditional makeup application and airbrush and we ultimately went with airbrush for my wedding day. Needless to stay, my makeup stayed perfectly all day with ZERO need for a touchup. I didn't even have to retouch my lipstick! I have very, very fair skin, so I needed to 'pump up the color volume' to work with my bright red saree without looking clownish. Amanda was a MASTER at making my skin, lips and hair work with this color: I rocked vibrant red lips, skin that looked perfectly sunkissed and the prettiest, shimmery golden eyes (which matched my plentiful gold jewelry) all day. And to date, I've never worn such comfortable faux eyelashes. She applied them perfectly and I literally didn't feel them ALL DAY. My hair was spectacular: somehow she managed to make a french braid, twisted bun and side ponytail cascade down my head like a marvelous waterfall. There was absolutely zero frizzing and not a pin out of place despite the warm conditions. Amanda is truly the total package for your wedding hair and makeup needs. Because she can do BOTH marvelously, it takes the stress of hiring two separate vendors off of the bride. That was a major bonus I appreciated as a busy bride-to-be. Terrific all-around. Amanda is the best! <3

The whole day, from getting ready to the end was the most memorable, joyful day of my life and I will forever be grateful to Amanda for starting our day peacefully and highlighting our beauty.

Amanda is an amazing and talented makeup artist! I felt so beautiful and so confident at my sisters wedding. She is extremely professional, and really kept all the bridesmaids on schedule! She was relaxed and just had a really cool vibe which made it fun while getting ready. What really impressed me most of all was seeing the finished product for each of the women getting their makeup done. She really knew how to bring out each lady's unique beauty and we all looked flawless! My makeup stayed on the whole night too! She knows how to make you look picture perfect!
