hat planning a wedding would be like a second job (& I barely have time for my primary job). The mere idea of attempting to plan a wedding (which I knew NOTHING about) was daunting, intimidating, overwhelming and made me want to crawl into fetal position and cry. I knew I needed to hire someone that would educate us, help us make informed decisions and keep us on track with all deadlines and action items. Someone that could make our dream wedding a reality - that someone is Amanda. To say that Amanda and her services are invaluable would be an understatement. I can't say enough good things about Amanda, her services, her support, her skills and her preparation without getting emotional (yes, my husband is consoling me right now LOL!). Amanda was our sounding board throughout every step of the process, she helped us to find vendors within our price range, helped to review contracts that we knew nothing about (standard terms vs. non-standard terms for example), what's reasonably priced vs. what is a rip off, what's negotiable and what's non-negotiable. You name it, she knows it. Amanda gets to know you very deeply as a couple which is what made planning with her very special. She knew sensitivities for both myself and my partner and we worked beautifully together as a team. She is a dream come true in a planner. When we think back on our wedding and the entire planning experience, we are overjoyed with wonderful positive thoughts and feelings towards our Amanda. My heart is filled with gratitude every time I think of her. She was very flexible with our schedules and easy to work with. We feel like we not only had a partner and ally in her, but a life long friend. Amanda quickly understood our taste, style and what we were looking to accomplish very well which in turn made our dream wedding come to life. She would even know immediately when vendors would recommended something she knew we wouldn't like. She helped me find my hair stylist, my makeup artist, our DJ/band, our photobooth, our florist. You name it, she found it and within our price range! She provided feedback and recommendations on the smallest of details like our wedding invitations and ceremony pamphlets. She was always very accessible and remained calm and composed in every situation, especially when we were feeling the natural stress and overwhelm that comes with wedding planning. Amanda is cool as a cucumber which in turn helped us to remain calm. Most importantly, we continuously hilariously laughed throughout the planning process and all of the ridiculous moments and aspects that come with it. Amanda is the most professional person I've had the pleasure of interacting with. She's also well known and embedded in the wedding industry and really knows her sh!t. She's also amazing at regulating vendors in the most professional of ways. As the wedding quickly approached, Amanda kept us calm and reassured us throughout every step of the process. Day of, Amanda was like a member of the FBI / CIA / S.W.A.T team. She has a whole suitcase of necessities for any situation or wedding emergency. I've never seen anything like it. She would basically pop out of a trap door when you needed her the most. She's your wedding fairy God mother, I promise. Amanda, we love you so much. *ugly crying*

During the day of the wedding, Amanda and Steve helped the flow of the day move so smoothly and kept my husband and I on schedule. We additionally had a Korean ceremony during our reception and she was able to work with the ceremony coordinator to integrate it smoothly into the schedule. All my guests have been talking nonstop about how great our wedding was, but all credit really goes to Amanda! She's really someone you can lean on and I highly recommend her!

e pretty much gave up on party plans and we were ready to call it quits, when I found Amanda through Instagram. I had one conversation with her on the phone and I felt like I was speaking to a friend who understood everything I was going through. Of course things got hectic closer to the date, but Amanda TOOK CARE of everything. We had one issue with a vendor, Amanda saved the day and she handled it immediately. We had the dreaded last minute add-on’s, Amanda found the vendor in a week’s notice!! Things we didn’t even think of, she advised me on and we had a plan! I felt that she was our advocate that whole day and during the planning process, so that both my husband and I could really enjoy our long awaited party. She promptly answered my message on The Knot, and we had a zoom meeting and she worked around my schedule. We ended up finding the rare venue that provides coordinator services in house, but had we not, we would have definitely proceeded with Amanda. She also took care of all the little details I didn’t even know where to begin with, like favors for the guests and desert table decorations. Amanda also took care of wedding activities for me outside of the big day- like a beautiful rehearsal dinner at Central Park boat house (WOW), and helped plan my bridal shower and bachelorette party in California. It was so nice to have help planning fun excursions and events across the country! Most of all, I loved Amanda’s kind spirit. I felt like every time I called her, I was talking to a friend that knew just how to help! Highly recommend!

riend recommended a wedding planner, which is something I didn't originally consider but sooo happy I did! My wedding was in Dominican Republic and I wanted to focus on experiencing my wedding rather than being worried about the small details involved. That is where Amanda at Details by Mandii came in. She was great in making sure that I was not overwhelmed. Amanda planned the welcome event, wedding, and a brunch the day after. The venue she found for us was beautiful and the flower arrangements at the ceremony and reception were gorgeous. I'm really happy that she also made sure I had a makeup artist and hair stylist for me and my bridesmaids. While everyone was complimenting me for amazing wedding, all the credit goes to Amanda. All I had to do was show up! So, if you're like me and want to experience your wedding rather than stressing about it, I absolutely recommend Details by Mandii. I am very happy with all the work she put in and I could not have done it with out her. It was so nice not have to be worried about anything the day of the bridal shower, she took care of everything and I could just sit back and enjoy all my friends and family. Amanda helped coordinate my wedding too. My wedding was in a remote location in Hocking hills and I realized as it got closer to the wedding, I needed a coordinator to help with all the different vendors and tricky location. Amanda's help was fabulous, her eye for detail and beauty was exactly what we needed. Our big day went so much better with her there!

g. Not only was it under budget but Amanda took care of everything. Setting up the venue, planning the meal, arranging entertainment. She brought everything together very nicely. I am terribly at planning events so I called her when I was trying to plan a birthday party for a friend of mine. She was fantastic again. Amanda does an amazing job of getting all the details and understanding what you want accomplished. She has great customer service. I will absolutely be calling Details by Mandii again for all my future dinner parties as well as my wedding! - Steve M
