I genuinely wish I could give this review more than 5 stars. Amanda and her team went above and beyond every step of the way for our wedding. Amanda is more than just a wedding planner, she is a friend, a confidant, a designer, a voice of reason, and a true expert on all things Chicago weddings. I reached out to Amanda before I was even engaged! Thats how annoying I am! She took me venue shopping before that ring was even on my finger. She answered my many many questions before I even hired her. So when my husband did get down on one knee, she was (besides family and friends) the first call I made. I learned a lot about myself during the wedding planning process. Both good and bad things. Amanda was kind, loving, organized, and beyond helpful throughout our year long planning process. She listened to me and my fiance during the process, and truly was our sounding board. My husbands and my families are both out of town. Amanda even came with me to buy my wedding dress because my mom had went back home. I had A LOT of ideas, I mean a lot. Most were really bad. Amanda listened to all of them and then would put into perspective how reasonable they were.
She also designed our save the dates, menus, programs, yarmulkes, seating chart, napkins, favors etc. She took things to levels I didn’t even know I could achieve.
The day of the wedding was perfect. Everyone had the best time and it was so smooth. One of my bridesmaids had a wedding the following weekend and mentioned to me how disruptive and flustered it was. You truly don’t realize the good stuff until bad stuff happens.
Besides my husband, Amanda was easily the most important part of our wedding. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without her. She found all of our vendors (all of which I had an incredible experience with), thought of every detail, and was able to wrangle our crazy family and friends. I couldn’t recommend Amanda and her team more. Also quick shoutout to Annie and Taylor who were sooo helpful during the day of!
There are not enough words to say how amazing Amanda and her team were throughout our wedding planning process! From the beginning, Amanda helped relieve so much stress - She always came very prepared to our meetings and kept everything moving and on track. She was also very accessible and helped answer all our many questions that popped up along the way.
Her vendor recommendations were all outstanding - we were so happy with how everything turned out on our wedding day and that was mostly due to the amazing efforts by the APE team and all our vendors' incredible talent and passion for what they do.
We also were so amazed by the creativity and design from Amanda - She helped us put together a vision board based on our conversations and inspiration photos and contributed great ideas that really enhanced the overall look and feel of our wedding. She supported our vision and helped bring it to life and made it even better than we could have imagined. She designed our save-the-dates, invitations, menus, cocktail napkins, signature drink sign, seating chart, and rehearsal dinner sign - all of which were thoughtfully and beautifully put together. This also took so much off our plates leading up to the wedding, allowing us to really focus on the excitement and celebration of our wedding.
Overall, we are so happy with the services from Amanda and her team and consider her a lifelong friend - Cannot recommend her and her team enough!!

Amanda's team was amazingly communicative and responsive throughout the process. We couldn't have been happier with how our wedding turned out, they were professionals and made us feel like they could bring our vision to life. Beyond that everyone on the team is very knowledgeable about Chicago area weddings and they were able to provide excellent suggestions for vendors at varied pricing levels and expertise.
Amanda and her team are the best wedding planning team and incredible to work with! As an out-of-town bride, I was looking for a wedding planner that would be hands-on and personally dedicated to our wedding and I got just that with Amanda. Amanda made the wedding planning process effortless and fun! From our initial meeting through our wedding day, Amanda was supportive, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic. Amanda and her team executed to perfection an amazing day that went by far too quickly. If there were any issues, I was blissfully unaware because Amanda, Taylor, and Annie were on-site to handle everything.
Furthermore, Amanda is incredibly knowledgeable and has a strong network of every possible wedding vendor you will need for your wedding day! Because of this and her natural ability to understand you as a bride, a couple, and your vision, she is spot on with her vendor recommendations. We didn’t have to interview multiple vendors because more often than not, the first ones she recommended were the vendors we loved and selected. With vendors and design, Amanda advocates for your vision and empowers you to confidently make the right decisions so you get exactly what you’re dreaming of. Amanda also helped design our day-of stationary and welcome bag inserts, seamlessly matching it to our invites. Not only does she design beautiful weddings, but she is also a master at Canva. She does it all!

Choosing Amanda Paige Events as our wedding planner was undoubtedly one of the best decisions we made during the entire planning process. From the very beginning, even before we had finalized our venue, Amanda and her team were there for us.

Amanda not only understood this but also expertly managed all the stressful coordination with vendors and day-of responsibilities. Where do I even begin about APE?! I wouldnt of survived my wedding day or planning without them. From the initial zoom call with Amanda, and Annie, I knew I was in the right hands. Coming from a VERY TYPE A bride, and knowing how Type A Amanda is, I had no doubt my wedding day would go off without a hitch. I chose the wedding coordination with an assosciate, but I still worked very closely with Amanda herself throughout the whole process. She was on every zoom call, and every email we had. Amanda and I communicated often via text, and she was there to answer any and all questions I had. Annie was responsive to emails, especially leading up to the week of. On my venue walk through Mimi was there, and really answered all my questions when it came to the timeline of the day, and where things should go. On the day of, I had the absolute honor of having Mimi and Annie there. I wouldnt of survived without them. I could cry just thinking of the day with them. Our ceremony called for rain, and it did in fact rain, but Mimi and Annie were in CONSTANT communication with my venue making sure we could wait until the very last moment to make the rain call. They eased any and all anxiety. They were there to hold my bag, my phone, make sure all the gentlemen were on schedule, and made sure the day was on time. During cocktail hour and reception, they were constantly checking on us, making sure we were all good. They were the keeper of all gifts, cards and wedding decor and made sure all of it got safely to our room at the end of the night. My husband and I look back and truly think the day would not have been what it was without them. There were no issues, or messups, at least to my knowledge, and if there were, they handled them without disrupting the bride or groom. I truly feel like APE is family to us now, and I look forward to seeing them again at my best friends wedding in September. Look no further for a wedding planner, because APE is where its at!
Amanda and her team are all so incredible to work with! They're so organized, reliable, fun, and kind - everything you could want in a planning dream team and more! They go above and beyond and truly feel like friends by the time your wedding comes. Amanda is the best hype-woman and planning wizard out there!
APE made me feel like my wedding planning was completely under control for the whole year+ that I worked with them. On top of taking care of almost all of the admin, they provided vendor suggestions & guides, numerous planning excels, and regular catch-up meetings. I know we were one of a cohort of Katie&Matts working with APE this year, and not even the only wedding on our date, but I felt like their most VIP client the whole time.
If you have more of an ideal vibe than a clear vision, use excel as a hobby, and/or love checking things off a list without actually doing any work, APE is absolutely the right choice for you.
Amanda is a SUPERSTAR! I truly couldn't have imagined my wedding day without her and her team! She was the glue that held our entire wedding day and planning process together. She was honest, available and thorough every time we communicated with her. Her organizational techniques and attention to detail kept us on track and ensured that we were able to enjoy our day stress free. As a type A bride I will honestly admit that I could not have pulled off planning my dream wedding without Amanda's help. We were always able to get in touch with her directly if we needed anything and she was available for our walk through and rehearsal dinner to make sure everything was covered prior to the big day. Her deep expertise helped us to establish a great timeline that was realistic and allowed us enough downtime to truly enjoy ourselves.
On our wedding day she handled everything! She popped in on all of the groups getting ready at multiple locations, got all of our decorations out of our apartment and set up flawlessly at the venue and made sure everything was packaged up and back at our hotel at the end of the night. On the morning of our wedding day, she was quick on her feet to take advantage of a better opportunity/photo spot for our first looks and was able to coordinate the slight change of plans with all of the vendors to execute it seamlessly. She always supported our vision and encouraged us to make our wedding day our own while still providing guidance where she thought she could enhance the plan.
I would not hesitate for even a second to recommend her services to any of my family and friends, as her services were everything we could have hoped for and more! I wish we had booked her sooner :)
Amanda and Annie truly went above and beyond for us! While we paid for day of coordinator service, we had monthly check ins, use of their inventory to save on table decor and card boxes, and Amanda even went the extra mile to design our invitation suite and matching ceremony programs for us. Truly five star service! On the big day, Annie and her team kept everyone stress free and seamlessly executed on the timeline and with all vendors! We cannot recommend them enough!
Hiring Amanda, Annie, and their team to plan our wedding was one of (if not THE) best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. Let me tell you why:
- Incredible logistics management. My husband and I had a very complex Indian fusion wedding, including a sangeet on Friday night, two different ceremonies Saturday (Indian and Western), followed by dinner and dancing Saturday night. Everything went off absolutely flawlessly thanks to Amanda’s attention to detail, planning, and strong vendor relationships
- Vendor selection. Amanda introduced us to a variety of vendors who not only matched our vision and fit within our budget, but also had personalities and styles that totally meshed with ours. She helped us create an amazing team that we were thrilled to celebrate our big day with.
- Creativity in 2 dimensions. First, Amanda has great graphic design skills. She designed our invitations, menus, signage, etc. that were all so beautiful, we had friends asking what designer we used! Second, Amanda knows how to flex a budget and come up with creative ideas to deliver on a vision while staying within bounds (example - she decorated the venue for our 160-person welcome party, complete with fresh flowers, for a fraction of the price of a professional florist).
- Passion for her business and her clients. A big part of why our wedding was so great was because Amanda and her team poured their whole selves into it. They over-delivered on our contract and invested so much into their relationship with us. Through this process, we gained not just a great planner team but great friends too!
It’s hard to put into words how grateful we are for the APE team. We would hire them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone getting married soon!
We can't imagine our wedding going as well as it did without the guidance and coordination of Amanda Paige Events. Taylor was the planner we worked with and she was awesome! She's a great listener and knew how to walk us through the process to get everything we wanted. We also had Hannah on the day of the wedding and she was super helpful and a pleasure to work with. Amanda and her team helped us throw the perfect wedding and we can't recommend them enough.
To Amanda and her incredible team, we could not have done this without you. You and your team were able to adapt and pivot with us as we rescheduled our wedding TWICE!!! To everyone considering if you should invest in a coordinator, you absolutely should. Amanda recommended the best vendors. She has an incredible relationship with her vendor team, and she listened to our concerns about budget and made great suggestions to help us stay within a range we were comfortable in. I truly believe finding Amanda was meant to be. She was an integral part of our wedding planning process, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I had a good experience working with Amanda in the months leading up to my wedding, however when we had to get switched to another one of her coordinators the experience went downhill. First of all, there was no transition from Amanda to our other coordinator - I was told I was scheduling our final meetings with Amanda but when I showed up to them she wasn’t there. I had to remind the coordinator to reach out to certain vendors to finalize the timeline and was being asked to fill out information from the coordinator the week of my wedding, something that could have been done months before. The real issues came the day of the wedding when we not only had issues with our coordinator but the 2nd assistant that we were supposed to have did not show up. Throughout the wedding day I had to be constantly be asking if things were getting done when they weren’t, my family had to step up and direct vendors, and set up decor, and I received some of my vendors tips back at the end of the night because they never got distributed to my vendors. My the biggest issue came when the coordinator LOST OUR WEDDING RINGS. She did not know where she had left them causing our ceremony to be majorly delayed which caused us to not only delay things for our guests but also lose time with our other vendors that I was paying for. Luckily my bridesmaid found them on the floor right before we were about to walk down the aisle and use our friends rings as placeholders. While I received a slight refund for the lack of the 2nd assistant, no refund or apology was made for all of the other issues that our coordinator from APE caused on our wedding day. While I had a good experience with Amanda prior to my wedding, I can’t recommend other brides work with them as it’s clear the other team members don’t have to same level of experience
I am disappointed to share that our experience with the coordination services contracted through APE for our February 2024 wedding did not meet the expectations that were outlined to us. During the planning process, our calls with our coordinator were sweet and encouraging. Unfortunately, though, our coordinator overall lacked the proactiveness and attention to detail to execute many of the services that were expected of her both leading up to the wedding day as well as the day of. This included not sending the timeline to all of the vendors and not responding to emails from us (we had to switch our primary form of communication to text messages). She did not tell us when she would arrive on the morning of the wedding day which caused unnecessary anxiety and then did not arrive until 4 hours after the bridal party started getting ready. She arrived along with three of our vendors which caused chaos. Our coordinator didn't provide corsages to those who should've received them and also improperly distributed tips resulting in money being paid that should not have been. These are only a few of the many issues that we faced. I think the lead planner (Amanda) was excellent to work with. Amanda helped us find a new photographer within a month of our wedding day after our first photographer unexpectedly was unavailable. Unless you plan to work with her directly, I would look elsewhere for planning/coordination services.
OMG! Where do I even begin!? Amanda & Annie are seriously THE BEST ever! I don't know what I would have done without them on my wedding day. Seriously, lifesavers. I have made lifelong friends & cannot say enough positive things about them. Start to finish, nothing but perfection!
I have never written a negative review before, but we feel it is necessary to share our opinion. We were extremely disappointed in the service that was provided for our wedding day. The amount of money that we spent on a wedding coordinator did not reflect the level of service that we were provided. On your wedding day, you hire someone to help with the stressors that may come up and help ease your anxieties, but unfortunately, the majority of the hiccups and anxieties that came about on our day because of our wedding planner. I wish things were different, we can’t go back and change anything now, but in our opinion, for the money spent, this was not the level of service that we expected.
This review is about a month late because I am simply in denial that it is all over! Once I talked to Amanda on the phone, I knew we had to hire her. I had talked with a few other well known planners in the Chicago area, but no one else gave me nearly as much of a reassuring vibe as Amanda did. We didn't know what we were doing, and she reassured us that she'd help us every step of the way and honor our budget. She also seemed genuinely excited to work with us, whereas other planners gave off a more pretentious vibe, as if we should be excited to work with them. We really didn't have a solid vision from the get go, and Amanda was quintessential in helping us cultivate our vision for an elevated Chicago-themed big day. (And nailed it, might I add!) She listened to and honored things we liked/disliked, and when we needed assistance, which was often, she made solid recommendations for ideas and vendors, always being mindful of our budget. We had monthly calls/meetings, and she and her team were always super detail oriented. They walked us through every step of the wedding planning process and were our biggest cheerleaders as we checked off different boxes - picking out save the dates, nailing down floral details, etc. While I may not have always known what my wedding would *look* like per se, I always knew what I wanted to *feel* like on our big day, and Amanda's team absolutely delivered on that. I was able to breathe easy knowing they had it all covered and were on top of all the details, timelines, etc. They have a super power where they fly under the radar but also show up exactly when you need them. A million thanks to Amanda and her team for making 10.14.23 the best day ever!
My favorite part about wedding planning was Amanda. From our very first phone call, she made me feel confident in her services and expertise. Her connections in the Chicagoland vendor scene helped us secure 99% of our wedding vendors (we planned out of state). We confirmed Amanda Paige Events 16 months before our wedding date (literally the first vendor we secured), and paid for the Day of Planner package. But Amanda is so much more than that, and I cannot express in words how much work I know she and her team put in behind the scenes. We had planning meetings at the 12 month mark, 8 month, 6 month, 2 month, 1 month mark and every meeting I walked away less stressed than I was going into it. But she and her team (shoutout Taylor & Annie!! 💕) really shined on the day of. They took care of all of the vendor arrival times in the Gold Coast of Chicago (a miracle in itself-tgod for alleys), made schedules for the bridesmaids and groomsmen, and made sure the day ran smoothly (which it did- I floated on a cloud all day, which is very hard for me to do 😅). On top of all this, she helped with our seating chart and menus, which were absolutely PERFECT! She is worth every penny and more, and I cannot recommend enough having her and her team on your side on your wedding day. ❤️ The Poggys

There's a million reasons why you need the Amanda Paige team on your big day. Amanda and her team( shout out to Mimi and Annie!!) just get weddings. They work together with you to bring your wedding dreams into a beautiful reality. From the second you have your first call with Amanda, you feel like you are planning something with a friend. Even if certain things did not go to plan, Amanda handled it without me even knowing!! I will be recommending Amanda to everyone!! :) I am forever grateful for Amanda and her team
My family, bridesmaids, and husband were all BLOWN AWAY by how calm I was on our wedding day - which is all due to Amanda and her team. I am a type-A, particular, and organized person, which was only amplified when it came to wedding planning. We started working with Amanda one year out from our wedding day and she hit the ground running with checklists, timeline planning, and vendor recommendations. We talked through several timeline options and her quarterly check-ins kept us on track with the endless wedding to-do's. On the actual day of, Amanda and her team made us feel so calm and collected throughout the Taste of Chicago traffic, Lake Shore Drive accidents, and wrangling 20 men together for a choreographed dance at the reception. She even bustled my dress with safety pins at cocktail hour after realizing that it was a bit too long. I think the best testament to APE's work is that I never knew - and still don't know - of a single thing that went wrong on our wedding day. Everything was handled with utmost professionalism and without involving myself or my bridal party/family, allowing everyone to sit back and enjoy the celebration. I could not recommend APE, especially Amanda, Mimi, and Annie, any more.
Where to begin… From the moment I got engaged I found myself beyond overwhelmed with all the options, budget considerations and the seemingly never-ending list of to-dos. I spoke to a number of planners that told me I’d never be able to have the wedding of my dreams within my desired budget. Then came Amanda. She instantly calmed my nerves with a kind but “in charge” attitude that I can best describe as having a cool, older sister that knows the answer to everything!
Not only was Amanda such a great partner throughout the wedding process, she came through with the best vendor and design recommendations.
By the time the wedding day came around, Amanda and her team felt more like our friends than our wedding vendors, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Don’t think twice about booking Amanda. I can’t thank her and her team enough for helping us pull off the best day of our lives.
Where do we even begin? We would absolutely never have been able to have the wedding of our dreams without Amanda and her team. We first contacted Amanda 2 months after our engagement - at that point, we had spoken with several other wedding planners in the city who promised us that we would never be able to have the wedding we wanted without a budget 2x what we had planned for. In tears, I called Amanda (who was still on maternity leave after giving birth to her cutie Shay) and her demeanor and level of calmness was immediately a warm hug- she assured us we would have the wedding of our dreams. I knew then we were in good hands and we trusted her immediately.
She knew the vibe we were going for right off the bat and went above and beyond to make that happen even at a venue that was completely new to her. She has an eye for the smallest details and is absolutely not phased by anything (for a high anxiety bride this is crucial). She tackles challenges head on and her network within the industry lead us to some of our absolute favorite vendors. We would do this process 100x over if we could work with her to do it. She, Annie, and Taylor are absolute gems and the best in the business.
Do not look any further, Amanda and the rest of the APE team are the best of the best! We booked Amanda and her team almost 2 years before our wedding after immediately feeling connect to her energy and style during our initial conversation. We booked her “Wedding Coordination” package which meant that I booked the vendors myself, but Amanda and her team were always there as my second set of eyes for opinions, recommendations, questions, etc! Cate and Annie were the two other members of her team I worked with throughout and they were both fabulous! We started regular touch bases 12 month out from our wedding, and they made sure everything was running smoothly! From giving us resources to use, ensuring we had our homework and keeping us on track. When I say Amanda and her team were always available, it was rare any communication would go more than a few hours before getting a response. They were always there, and I had full confidence the entire time that my day would go smoothly because of the attention to detail they spent with each and every couple.
Amanda and her team went above and beyond in every aspect. From attending my final dress fitting so my dress could be perfectly bustled to helping design invitations (with my iterations), to running the entire wedding day without a glitch. I had SO many compliments at the end of my wedding on how amazing my planner and her team was. They made what can be an overwhelming and sometimes stressful process fun and we will always look back at both our wedding and all the work leading it up to it SO thankful we had APE with us every step of the way.
We loved our experience with APE. Amanda hopped on a call with me right away and talked through each vendor we had already booked and everything we still needed to do. We ended up booking coordination with an associate (we love Vanessa) but Amanda was available for any and all questions along the way. Vanessa was so helpful on all our check in calls and made sure we were staying on track. Vanessa ran our rehearsal quickly and efficiently - not necessarily an easy task with a large and chatty wedding party. She showed up at the perfect time on the wedding day to check in with everyone and help keep us moving on schedule. We had extra time to take a breath before the ceremony which was really nice. Our ceremony started a little late so that we could wait for some family members that were delayed and by dinner time we were right back on schedule. Vanessa and Annie not only beautifully set up our centerpieces exactly how I hoped they would look, but also packed everything up and brought it back to our hotel room. That made the end of the night so easy for us. Overall they made it possible for Ethan and I to be so present on our wedding day which was all we could hope for. Thank you for everything!!!
Amanda and her team at APE deserve more than 5 stars, they exceeded all my expectations! As a meticulous and detail-oriented person - I was very particular about who I was going to hand over the wedding planning to/day of coordination. However, from the moment I spoke to Amanda, I felt like I was talking to a friend who truly understood my vision.
Throughout the entire process, Amanda's expertise and ability to navigate every detail put me at ease. She made the planning fun and enjoyable, and her team executed everything flawlessly.
I must also give a big shout-out to Annie for staying until my sparkler exit at midnight. Amanda and her team truly went above and beyond, and I can't recommend them enough. If you're looking for the best, look no further - book APE for your wedding.

My husband and I started working with Amanda almost two years before our wedding day because of Covid and every moment was fantastic. I wasn’t particularly looking forward to wedding planning. I am not someone who usually gets excited about flowers or place settings, and I remember after our first vision meeting with Amanda telling my parents I felt like I was “planning my wedding in first class.” Amanda curated the experience for us in a way that made everything fun. She got us right away and never tried to push anything we weren’t comfortable with or not into. She had amazing ideas that were individualized to us and reflected the type of environment we wanted to build. I felt like I could talk to her like a friend, but she also always remained professional and took her job extremely seriously.
Despite liking Amanda as a person and enjoying the process with her, she executed a fantastic and seamless event. First, the team of vendors she assembled were truly first class. There are so many moving parts in a wedding and so many people to manage. I was honestly never stressed about anything not going according to plan because the vendors she recommended were so buttoned up and she had worked with them all previously. (You can work with any vendors you want. We just chose to only work with people she had worked with and recommended for us based on what we were looking for.) Second, Amanda and her team kept us on schedule and moving through the wedding day itself. We had a big wedding party (20+ people) and most of our plans had to change on the fly due to a massive downpour. Amanda and her team (Annie & Taylor) handled everything, so I didn’t have to look at my phone or a watch once and could just enjoy the day. Thirdly, she drove us an hour outside of Chicago to meet with our caterer for a signature cocktail tasting to ensure we had tasted everything our guests would be served: truly above and beyond. Lastly, Amanda designed a TON of amazing things for us (invitations, menus, seating charts, etc.) She literally drew our favorite locations for our seating chart because we wanted our tables to be named after meaningful locations. This level of decor/stationary creation is usually another huge expense, so it made her rate feel even more reasonable.
I would highly recommend Amanda and her team to plan any wedding regardless of size, budget, or style. We have already recommended her to our friends beginning the process. She not only made our wedding dreams a reality, but she helped us create something beyond what we ever thought possible.
We engaged Amanda Paige Events to assist with partial full planning services for our May 2023 wedding. Wedding planning, coordination & organization is no joke, and we could not have done it without Amanda! Over 18 months, Amanda worked closely with us through vendor selection process including reviewing vendor contracts, articulating our vision, bringing the design to life, ultimately to our beautiful day!
Personally, I was overwhelmed by the decisions, timelines, details that needed to be made & when. Whenever there was any question, Amanda was a text away. She consistently checked-in, we held our scheduled touchpoints (and plenty of ad-hoc - for my sanity), and it never felt like there was not a point at which she was not involved or invested. Amanda could tell I was struggling to envision all of the floral/decor details and set-up an in person decor viewing to put my mind at ease and finalize decisions. She generously created (and sketched) our welcome insert for our guest bags. There are so many details where she went above and beyond before our wedding day even arrived.
On our wedding day - I could not have been more thankful Amanda, Annie & Mimi were by our side! Truly, there was not a single detail that went unnoticed, or not as planned. The organization, communication and support the day of, put our minds at ease. She pulled my mom aside for special sneak peeks of our room reveal, and made moments special for our families.
Over the 18 months of our 'working relationship', we gained a friend and could not have been more impressed by the culmination of all of Amanda & her team's hard work coming together. We had the most perfect day, ever!
Amanda is such a rockstar wedding planner and coordinator! I knew she would be the perfect planner for me when I saw that her Instagram said "Type-A bride approved." I can personally vouch that this is 1000% true. In the build up, she helped us tie several loose ends with our vendors, coordinated the walkthrough and dialed us in so that we could attend virtually. She is always readily available to help and offered her thoughtful inputs (but knew when to step back and let us make the final call) at our food tasting, bridal hair trial and groom's suit/tuxedo selection.
On the day of, she kept the event moving along seamlessly, with master shepherding of vendors and various guests. She coordinated the rehearsal, ensuring everyone (the couple, the parents, the officiant as well as the DJ, the photo/videographer) knew their roles well. She ensured the couple had a plate of appetizers ready before cocktail hour, which we appreciated. She kept the group photos moving along, while also respecting the wishes of the family to have photos taken with various permutations of family members and on different phones in addition to the wedding photographer. We also had a slight mix-up with our cake vendor, which she managed effortlessly.
Amanda's assistant, Annie, was amazing on the day-of, as well! She coordinated with the groom and his family in the build-up to the ceremony, ensuring they knew when to be where for the photos and first look etc. She also ensured we didn't have to worry about anything during the actual ceremony, taking care to ensure that all the gifts / jewelry etc. were collected and transported seamlessly between the ceremony and party venues. She even came prepared with band-aids to save the day with an unexpected blister :)
Amanda and her team really think of everything and help make the day run seamlessly without any worries for the bride, groom or their families. We are so grateful that we had her and her team on our day!!
We cannot recommend Amanda & her team enough. They were there every step of the way during planning and they made our wedding day 1000% stress free!! It is the biggest relief to know that NOTHING went wrong (at least if something did go wrong, I never found out about it) on our wedding day.
If you're on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, it is SOO worth the money. Amanda & team took care of things I never would've thought of and made sure all events were on schedule. Once we were engaged, the type A planner in me immediately started extensively researching vendors. Top of my list was a wedding coordinator. I found Amanda through a friend who gave her glowing reviews. From the first phone call, Amanda and I immediately hit it off. She felt like much more than a coordinator. She was there throughout the entire planning process and answered endless questions. She was extremely present and extra hands on the weeks leading up to the wedding. She was a saint at our final walk through and asked all of the right questions. Annie, one of her associates, jumped right in at the rehearsal and day of. Annie was extremely attentive. When the church coordinator wanted to make a few last minute changes, Annie jumped right in to make sure we followed the plan. The day of, Annie and Amanda were the very best team. Amanda and Annie got there early and got right to work. Amanda made sure the event space was perfect and helped in so SO many ways. Annie was my right hand lady the entire day, making sure I had everything I needed, the bridal party was on time, and the ceremony and reception went perfectly. I started looking for a coordinator the moment we booked our venue, but to be honest I thought it was a luxury that I just couldn't squeeze into our budget. That said, I knew it was going to be a hectic 2 years leading up to our wedding and I wanted to keep everything as stress-free as possible! As a type-a event planner myself, I did not want to be in “work mode” on my wedding day, so a day-of coordinator was the first thing I went on the hunt for after locking in a date. Even before getting engaged, the number one advice I received from wives and husbands was to get a planner for our wedding. I took this advice to heart when I got engaged to my now husband. I’m so glad I did because Amanda and her team were absolutely essential to ensure our wedding was amazing for me, my husband, and our guests.
In fact, our wedding was perfect.
From the moment we had our first call with Amanda, she was attentive to our specific wants and needs as a couple. She embraced our vision and ideas, and always encouraged us to do what WE wanted, not because our families were pressuring us to go in a certain direction. She matched us with an amazing total vendor team that met our budget needs and quality/look we were looking for. Any worries we had on wild card guests was always met with a plan from Amanda on how to be proactive, or tackle them in the moment. She really was our rock through the entire planning process and day of wedding.
Which leads me to the day of the wedding. As I said, it was perfect. Her assistants were amazing. I’m not sure if anything went wrong on the day of the wedding because they were so on top of everything and scheduling. I truly just had to show up and soak up being a bride for the day.
When I think of our 2 year planning partnership with Amanda, I am so thankful. She was organized, proactive, professional, authentic, and genuine. She is a gem, and number one in what she does.

Amanda made our dreams come true. We worked for 16 months to plan our perfect day and honestly, we are so sad the planning process is over. Our day went off without a hitch! Amanda was simply the best. Calm, organized, utterly professional. She always asked all the right questions and guided us when we were unsure of what we wanted, which happened a lot. We started working with her in early 2021 for a summer 2022 wedding and through all that time, Amanda kept us on track and on budget! Amanda was INCREDIBLE!!! We hired Amanda about 9 months before our wedding and even though she really takes charge in the last 1-2 months, she met with us regularly to help make sure we were on track for everything. Every time we got off a call with her, I breathed such a sigh of relief! In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she laid out a timeline (how on earth would we know how to do that on our own?!) and took care of communication with all the vendors. She came to a dress fitting to see how to bustle it and visited the venue to make sure she knew exactly how things would be set up. When things started to fall through with transportation a week before our wedding, all she had to do was start reaching out to her contacts and work her magic!
We honestly had not planned on spending much money on a coordinator, but it was clear early on that it was one of the greatest investments we made for our special weekend! We absolutely would recommend working with Amanda on any event you have coming up!
Amanda guided us from start to finish and was so helpful, especially as the wedding grew near. It was such a sigh of relief to have someone with so much experience answering all of our questions. We were outside of the Chicago area but Amanda still managed to work with all of our St. Louis vendors and even came to visit 6 months before the wedding. The big day was perfect and Amanda was at the center of it all keeping things on schedule, organized, and easy for us to enjoy our wedding.
Amanda always encouraged us to do what was best for us, and did not push any standards or traditions on us. Her experience with Jewish, interfaith, and other types of weddings was especially helpful to us as we designed a wedding around two faiths.

Before I got engaged, I knew I wanted Amanda to be my wedding planner. When we finally met, I knew we had made the right choice. I am Type A and love to plan but knew I did not have the time to plan a wedding without a planner. Amanda was there for me throughout the entire wedding process. During venue tours, she could read my reactions and knew when it wasn't the right place. She worked with our budget and actually saved us a lot of money. She listened to what we needed and made sure it could happen day of. On the day of our wedding, she handled everything. We did not worry about anything. Shannon, Amanda's staff, was assigned to directly working with me. She kept track of all my stuff and got me where I needed to be! Vanessa, Amanda's staff, worked with my husband. She was a saint and dealt with a group of guys making sure they were on time. Amanda worked with all the vendors to make our day perfect. When there was hiccup with one of our vendors, she worked to resolve it. Our wedding was perfect. There is not one thing we would change and we owe that to Amanda. We do not believe anyone should plan a wedding without Amanda.
Where to even begin! I'm a very organized person, and I initially decided that I wanted to have the additional support not even necessarily to plan but to just be there to keep things moving along. From the very first conversation with Amanda, I ended up needing her support more than I ever realized. So many things we never anticipated popped up during the process, and Amanda kept me calm with her can-do attitude. We got help with vendor selection, bouncing ideas, and really just had an advocate that made sure our day was as memorable as possible. We did mostly DIY decor, and her assistant helped us with setting everything up. Amanda also helped us ease any anxieties the day of and kept everything wonderfully smooth regardless of any hiccup that popped up. Even when we weren't sure if we truly needed a planner, we found that having one was just the best thing we could've ever done for ourselves. Amanda is the best and we couldn't thank her enough.
Amanda was the first vendor I reached out to after we got engaged, the first contract we signed and by far one of the best decisions we made leading up to our big day! The partial planning package was not only very reasonably priced for the value (and compared to other planners), but it allowed us to have the support of a visionary like Amanda to help make our wedding day dreams come to life! She partnered with us from the very beginning- locking in and coordinating with other vendors, getting our budget in place, ensuring everything on the big day was squared away... she was our right-hand lady! Amanda is so thoughtful, kind and really loves her clients, that all shows through her work.
Amanda was always a phone call or a text away, at any time of day. She communicated so consistently and was always a few steps ahead. She was on maternity leave for 6 weeks leading up to our wedding, but being the amazing type-A planner that she is, she communicated the plans for her absence well in advance, everything was ready before she took her well deserved time away with the baby and her team was there for me if we needed them.
Amanda and her team built a day of schedule that was so seamless, had every last detail managed and kept us all on time and on track -- there was nothing left for us to do than to enjoy our wedding day with friends and family! Amanda is a gem; if you have the opportunity to book her for planning or day-of coordination, do it!
We hired Amanda for day-of-coordination services and feel that we got an excellent value. The level of service offered by this package exceeded her competitors - Amanda worked with us from the day we signed the contract. We were able to regularly meet with her to discuss our timeline, utilize any extra items she had in storage (frames, easels, card box, etc.), and ask for recommendations on vendors that we had not yet booked. On wedding day, Amanda and Shannon perfectly executed our vision (and we even ran ahead of schedule!). They were able to guide us through the day without making their presence over-bearing. They checked-in for the appropriate items and managed the rest of the details themselves, including the little things like making sure our parents were seated at the appropriate times and having my change of shoes ready underneath the head table. They thought of everything! We especially appreciated Shannon's help on the day-of; she quietly managed all of the details and had all that we needed ready in her backpack (including 100s of bobby pins). Our day would not have been the same without Amanda and Shannon - we were truly able to have fun
First and foremost, just hire APE and make your life easier! Amanda and her team were amazing to say the least, and APE would be my #1 recommendation for a vendor because Amanda and her assistant made my day-of coordination as smooth as possible. From the beginning, Amanda was not only personable and down to earth, but professional and meant business in the best possible way.
She was available throughout the year (even though we hired her as a day-of coordinator), checked in frequently, and provided great suggestions along the way. She made you feel like you were planning a wedding with your highly organized, motivated and ambitious best friend who is looking out for you, and those are qualities you want from a vendor you are in frequent contact with.

We hired Amanda Paige Events for day-of coordination for our wedding in January 2022. She worked closely with us and our photographer to develop a great timeline, communicated directly with all other vendors leading into the wedding so we didn't have to, leading the rehearsal, then perfectly executed on wedding day. She immediately took on the task of gathering vaccine information from vendors when the mandate went into effect two weeks before our wedding, and seamlessly handled several last-minute changes to our timeline and seating arrangements leading into it, including an addition of a guest with less than 24 hours to go! Several vendors went out of their way to privately mention to us how on top of it Amanda was and how good it was to work with her, which I thought was saying a lot since they have worked with a lot more wedding coordinators than I have! Everything went so smoothly on wedding day, including transportation to and from the venue, decorating for the ceremony, executing a room flip to the reception, then toasts and speeches during the reception. It was all done behind the scenes by Amanda and her assistant without any stress on us, and everything worked so well. She also provided several decorations for our ceremony and reception, which was a big help and cost saver to us since we don't live in Chicago, so a lot less we had to worry about bringing on the trip! Her assistant, Brooke, was super helpful in her assignment to wrangle the groom and groomsmen as they were getting ready, including putting on all their boutonnieres since we didn't know how, and keeping everyone in line and on schedule all night. It was great to have two of them throughout the event, especially when they were both coordinating two groups at the same time!
We absolutely loved having Amanda help with our wedding! We opted to have her as our day-of coordinator to help things run smoothly, which they totally did. Amanda is extremely organized and supportive but also strikes a balance with offering her opinions where needed. I was the kind of bride who needed someone to keep her wild ideas in check sometimes, and Amanda did just that. She can definitely "read the room" and adapt plans as needed. I am a pretty uptight person, so I seriously couldn't believe that I was actually able to relax and enjoy my day. If you don't hire Amanda to help with your wedding, you are making a mistake.

WOW, I look back at my wedding planning experience and have nothing but fantastic memories because of Amanda! Right when you start working with her, it is clear that she has so much experience, knowledge and professionalism, so planning an entire wedding with her feels surprisingly easy. Everything feels under control, because chances are, she has already thought of/resolved every concern you have and then some! Amanda always goes above and beyond for her couples, and you can tell she cares about the wedding just as much as her couples do. She is so good at remembering and planning out every detail, that you may not even notice how much is going on the day of the wedding. Amanda Paige Events made our wedding process the absolute BEST! Amanda's care for her couples goes unmeasured and she truly was with us for every step of the process. Her recommendations for vendors and her mastery in working with the vendors were amazing and ensured that we stayed within our budget and never settled for less than our dream day. The way that Amanda was not only helping us as a couple enjoy the process she also worked with our families and kept EVERYONE extremely happy. From the first meeting Amanda could see how sentimental we were and made sure to add special touches throughout the wedding which blew us away. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is no small feet and Amanda made it look seamless and enjoyable. We were married on October 23rd, 2021, which I can honestly say was the best day of my life so far. As we are now a month out from the wedding, I still find it hard to believe how absolutely flawless the day was, and I don't believe I would have been able to say that if it wasn't for Amanda.
From our initial call, Amanda and I really got along and she was someone that I was excited to have a part of our wedding. Amanda helped us deal with everything from the logistics of our postponement, vendor communication, and timelines as well as oversaw the setup of our reception to make sure not a single detail was out of place. Amanda came with us for our final venue walkthrough as well as our ceremony rehearsal. For the day of, Amanda brought a second, Mimi, and they worked flawlessly worked together to make sure once the reception set-up began, one of them was always with the bridal party while the other was overseeing setup.
The morning of, Amanda and Mimi so that Amanda was with myself and my bridesmaids while Mimi was with the groom and groomsmen. Mimi also took behind-the-scenes photos and videos throughout the day which I appreciated so much as it allowed me to relive the day before my professional photos and videos were done.
Amanda and Mimi checked all of my boxes for what I had hoped for, but one unexpected item was overseeing the bridal party. All of our friends were so happy and excited to celebrate, but at certain points, there needs to be someone who keeps the train on its tracks, and I was so grateful Amanda and Mimi kept the party in check to stay ahead of schedule and on course.
We did our first look at 1:30 pm and around noon it hit me - I was completely relaxed and fully present in the day, without a single worry, because I didn't have to. Amanda had fully taken control and allowed me to be the bride. As an avid over-planner and generally high-stress individual, my advice is to anyone currently planning is that you can plan your wedding down to the second, but without someone there to execute and lead the day of, your work will not actually be done until the wedding is over and it will require you to answer questions, calls and make decisions instead of enjoying the day.
I would recommend Amanda to all of my friends and family. As everyone says, your wedding day goes by so fast. If you hire Amanda, I can be certain you will be able to spend your day focused on marrying the love of your life and soaking up all of the love from your family and friends while she handles the rest.
Amanda Paige Events was amazing throughout the entire process, especially the day of the wedding. Her two assistants, Mimi and Vanessa were equally amazing. Every time my husband and I had a question about something coming up during the day’s events they were already on top of it. There was never a question they didn’t have an answer for. All three made me, my husband and the wedding party comfortable and kept everything running smoothly. They all went above and beyond to make our wedding a lot less stressful.
Amanda Paige Events was the perfect choice for day-of-coordination for our Chicago wedding. She actually starts working with you a few months in advance to understand your plans and goes above and beyond to get to know her couples. She even came with me to my final dress fitting to make sure she knew how to bustle my dress! On the actual day, Amanda showed up bright and early to steam my dress, and from then on I knew I was not going to have to think about anything & could really focus on enjoying every moment of a fantastic day. Between Amanda and her other team member Vanessa, everything was taken care of! They were truly full-service, and so much fun to spend the day with. Our wedding day would not have been nearly as carefree and fun without them - we can't thank them enough!
Where to begin…if you are at all hesitant to hire Amanda and her team…DO IT! I cannot say enough good things and I truly don’t know what the day would have been like without them. Fellow couples- please hear me when I say that you neeeeed a day of coordinator at the very least and Amanda (and Mimi and Shannon!!) are the best!! My now husband was initially unsure about hiring a coordinator, but wholeheartedly agrees that we could not have done it without them. Seriously, your day will be a mess otherwise. From our first call with Amanda I knew that she was special and that she had a passion for weddings. A few months later, the first time I met her in person she came to my final dress fitting to learn how to bustle my dress. In that moment it became even more clear how attentive she was and that she really cared about her clients. Amanda, Mimi, and Shannon were all absolutely amazing to work with. Throughout the entire weekend (and especially the wedding day) they were so intentional, kind, and professional. Because of Amanda and her incredible team, my husband and I were able to be fully present because we didn’t have to worry about anything except enjoying the day! The day of coordination package was everything we needed and more. Mimi was exceptional- she made sure everything was on time, took care of SO much behind the scenes stuff, and made sure to check in with us throughout the day all while being so sweet and thoughtful. She went out of her way to support me however I needed (whether it was bringing me water or saving the day with a sewing kit when a button popped off my dress). Shannon was so on top of everything at the venue, she effortlessly made sure that everything was perfect. Shannon and Mimi also stepped up when they realized that our catering was short staffed, they truly did everything they could to make the day seamless. They handled the vendor coordination, set up all the decor, and kept everyone on task all night. They made our wedding day run so smoothly and definitely went above and beyond!! Even our bridal party commented on how punctual everything was and how Mimi kept everyone on track. I cannot thank you all enough - we are so thankful that we got to work with you all. We had a small wedding (50 people, due to COVID) and initially thought we could get away without having a day of coordinator for our wedding. It became obvious during the planning process that we needed help. The stress relief I felt after meeting with Amanda for the first time was immediately noticeable to my now husband. I got to see her in action a couple of months before my wedding at a wedding I was a bridesmaid in and I knew that I had made the right decision. The communication leading up to the wedding day was excellent and it was because of Amanda and her assistant coordinator, Vanessa, that my wedding day ran perfectly. I am someone who worries about things running on time and I was able to forget about all of that on my wedding day. Amanda and Vanessa took care of all of the details, so I could focus on enjoying the day. Amanda even helped us coordinate with her dog walker to dog sit for us and bring our puppy for photos! She and her team went above and beyond and I cannot recommend APE enough.
