Amanda Photographic

We enjoyed working with Amanda for our engagement shoot and our wedding. She went above and beyond and was our main help hotline for wedding questions. Through difficulties of rescheduling due to Covid, Amanda was the most helpful person! She called vendors and used her connections throughout Central Oregon when things were seeming to fall apart. We loved her personality and the way she directed everyone to stay on track and be efficient. Her direct approach may not be for everyone, but for us, it was perfect. We love our photos and our friends even booked her for their wedding after being part of our bridal party. When we received photos, Amanda was more than happy to make additional edits as requested. We could not be happier with her service, communication, professionalism, and friendliness!

Amanda is the best- Period.  I love my wedding photos so much. It's difficult to put into words how essential Amanda was during our wedding weekend and planning process. I seriously don't know what we would have done without her.  I'm not a 'wedding person' and I'm super work-focused so I wasn't able to spend a lot of time thinking about our wedding last summer. Also, I didn't know a lot about the pressure and expectations that a bride often experiences and I think without Amanda, I would have been seriously stressed on my big day.  And she makes it look EASY. All the guests loved her, she even was able to wrangle 30+ people for an amazing group shot - that takes some skill with our group of notoriously unfocused family members. Also, ALL family members loved her photos. She took the time to get to know who was closest to us and made sure to get everyone on camera throughout the day. She was by far the hardest working person the entire wedding weekend - never missing a precious moment. The photos she shot were so perfect, I can't believe how much she was able to capture the feeling of the weekend along with the beauty of the location and all of the special details. I only gave her a small list of 'must-have shots' and her artistic eye did the rest. Those were some of my favorite pictures too: our hand-written vows, our accessories, the  place settings, groomsmen getting ready.  She has several years of experience and it shows. I went into the weekend without a plan for ceremony or a traditional wedding planner and she stepped up gracefully when she knew she could help. She coached us and our bridal party on exactly what to during the rehearsal and was flexible when things changed last minute.  Her understanding of what's important in the helped me narrow down the huge to-do list I still had on the night before the wedding. I was behind on some details that I was freaking out about and she calmly talked me off a ledge and helped me focus.  She was always kind, helpful, willing to talk, willing to travel, and what's most special about her is how much this woman loves weddings! I think some wedding photog veterans are a little jaded after years in the business but Amanda's so optimistic and excited about love. She took the time to get to know my (now) husband and really felt her exitement for us to get married. It's hard to explain but it's nice to have that eye behind the lense rooting your love on.  She captured the essence and beauty of the best weekend of our lives in a way that words never could. We are forever grateful for Amanda being there for our wedding and I hope anyone reading this gets to experience what we did.

Amanda was helpful, creative and wonderful to work with. She was willing to do whatever she needed to do in order to get the picture! We didn't have a wedding planner and or day of coordinator and Amanda was totally willing and ready to step up and lead the rehearsal. She is organized and on top of the day-of timetable.

It was very important to my (now) husband and I to find someone who could capture our wedding in a way that truly reflected are family and who we are as a couple, and that’s exactly what Amanda delivered. Amanda is a delightful person, very talented and extremely professional. Living in a different time zone, she was respectful of our job schedule and time, Skyping as necessary to really get a feel for us and our family dynamic. One of the greatest pleasures of working with Amanda is that she loves her job. She made us all feel celebrated and has this wonderful calming presence. She has a way of coaching you through the giggles of being in that “wedding spotlight” and is happy to go the extra mile – when my sister-in-law went into labor and gave birth to a baby girl the morning after our wedding, Amanda went to the hospital and captured beautiful moments of the proud new parents. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience and we recommend Amanda to anyone looking to capture the wonderful moments in their lives.
