Amanda was a dream to work with! My husband and I don’t love to be the center of attention, so taking professional pictures is difficult. Amanda made us feel so comfortable and she brought out our personalities in each photo! When we got our sneak peaks back from our wedding photos, I almost cried at how BEAUTIFUL they were and how she truly captured our happiness and love that day! Amanda and her team were professional, punctual, organized, and friendly. They are so talented, and I would highly recommend using her for your special day!

We are absolutely thrilled with our decision to choose Amanda as our wedding photographer! We just completed our engagement photoshoot, and the locations she selected in Portsmouth were breathtaking. The poses she suggested were both easy to execute and looked phenomenal in the final photos. Our friends and family have been raving about the photos we've shared with them so far!! Amanda is great! We booked Amanda Rai Photography about a year and a half out from our wedding because we loved her light and airy style and wanted to make sure we got her for our date! Amanda Rai Photography is undoubtedly well-organized, running her business with efficiency. We appreciated her prompt communication leading up to the wedding, and her photography style aligned with our preferences, beautifully capturing the essence of our day. However, there were some downsides. Attention to detail and direction was lacking, with dress and flower adjustments overlooked. We were disappointed to find that a certain section of our day was missing from our wedding album, particularly the getting ready photos of the groomsmen and my husband with his parents. While Amanda's light and airy style impressed us, the overall experience lacked a personal touch. We didn't feel entirely comfortable behind the camera and felt somewhat like just another wedding on the schedule. We would recommend her for aesthetic style and efficiency but suggest designating someone in your wedding party to pay close attention to detail for you.

On top of her beautiful light and airy pictures, what makes Amanda and her associate team stand out is their phenomenal customer service. When you book with Amanda she sends you a thoughtful welcome package including a very informative booklet with everything you need to know about wedding photography. She also works with you to come up with a very organized timeline to ensure the wedding day runs smoothly. Amanda is very responsive and gets back to you within 24 hours (often quicker). We had her associate team Melissa and Caroline for our wedding day. Melissa and Caroline were both such a pleasure to work with. They were so kind, sweet and easy to work with. We cannot get over how great the pictures are. The turnaround time was also so quick (<1 week for the engagement pictures and <1 month for wedding pictures). If you are looking for a wedding photographer - Amanda and her team are the best!

We booked Amanda as our wedding photographer after talking with her on the phone once. Her process to get to know you as a couple and take part in your wedding experience is unmatched. We recently took engagement photos with her as part our the package (perk of booking with her!) and she not only made us feel totally normal and relaxed, but like a long lost friend! She returned the pictures in record time and they are AMAZING. By far my best decision so far while planning my wedding, and knowing she will be there with us on our day gives me so much peace of mind.

I don’t know if I can put into words how great Amanda and her team was-if you are thinking about booking her, READ THIS REVIEW. Photography was my #1 goal; we spent hours reading reviews, interviewing photographers, and I knew from our first interview with Amanda that she was perfect for us. Not only is she SO organized (as someone who is type A this was fantastic) but she truly makes you feel like you are her friend. She is warm, bubbly, and encouraging which is what you want on your wedding day. Fast forward to the wedding-she made me and my entire bridal party feel SO comfortable. She knows exactly how to pose you to get the perfect shots, and she is a true hype girl the entire time. THE PHOTOS ARE STUNNING (seriously), and she even has an Ipad where they are up at the wedding to see a sneak peek. She’s so prompt at returning photos, and so communicative. We also just got a surprise in the mail of a framed photo she sent us. My mom and entire bridal party are still RAVING about how fantastic she was and how beautiful the photos are. I have not even had my wedding yet and I could not recommend her and the ARai associate team enough. From our first conversation, Amanda was extremely personable, professional and informative - I felt like I was communicating with a friend right off the bat which is great to have in a photographer that you’ll be working so closely with! We met Caroline, who is part of the associate team, in Portsmouth, NH for our engagement session and we couldn't have left happier. Caroline was extremely fun to work with and the shots came out beautiful - she knew the perfect spots and was able to capture exactly what we were hoping for. Amanda and her team are awesome. Immediately, we felt so comfortable with their energy, vibe, and professional presence. I love having a team of women who are empowered, structured, and love to work together. It was amazing to do an engagement shoot before the big day to get more comfortable in front of the camera and be able to connect with our lead shooter. We were so excited to see Chelsey again for our wedding day. We knew that we were in good hands. She kept us on timeline and had great notes of all the different shots I wanted. She and Mel created total magic that day and made us feel calm and confident. Since we were working against wind and weather, they were quick to improvise. After the sneak peek, Amanda was so quick to get us a bunch more photos almost right away and ahead of schedule for the rest of the photos! It was such a treat! She is such a great business owner and really takes pride in her product. I had requested a few minor tweaks to some photos and she responded so quickly and made them look perfect. If I could give more stars, I would! After speaking with Amanda on the phone for our first get to know you call, I knew immediately I wanted to book. She seemed so fun and passionate about her job. Her associate, Caroline took our engagement shoot the beginning of August and I am OBSESSED! The light and airy lighting on the pictures is exactly what we were looking for! They are very organized and also very responsive! I am so excited to have them for our wedding day!!!

We hired Amanda as our wedding photographer for our wedding at Dexter’s Inn in July 2022 and she did a great job. Amanda was super easy to work with, friendly, and listened to our many requests for combinations of photos. She and her second shooter captured the vibe of the day including getting ready, the ceremony, and the reception. Her photos are wedding magazine quality and she captured so many beautiful shots.

Amanda herself is amazing, but even better is knowing that her associate team will also knock it out of the park! Due to some rescheduling (thanks, COVID), my husband and I ended up with her associate team and LET ME TELL YOU did they do a great job! Not only did the ladies show up early, but they stayed a bit late to help us capture a few last-minute shots. They were so friendly, helpful, and excited to be there. They worked great with the videographer, each team building off the other (which worked out perfectly)! The team has been perfectly curated by Amanda to have not only great photography skills, but to be kind and just a wonderful addition to the wedding day. We felt like they were additional guests at our wedding (in a good way) because they were so fun to be around! The ladies remembered very specific details that we only mentioned once or twice and made sure to photograph those things! They were firm and kind with our bridesmaids, groomsmen, and family to make sure we got all the necessary shots! Really, you couldn't ask for more. Also, Amanda was so quick to help when we needed to reschedule. We were originally scheduled for 2021, but couldn't end up doing our wedding on that day. She jumped right into helping us figure out how to reschedule and we couldn't be more grateful for her flexibility and willingness to help us out during COVID! The gallery was delivered EXTREMELY quickly (we were married on 7/30 and it was delivered within about 3 weeks) and we are so excited to look through it more in the upcoming days/weeks. We had our engagement photos taken with Amandas’s associate, Melissa, and we have nothing but incredible things to say about their work, attitudes, and ability to walk us through the process! From day one of signing our contract they laid out the entire process from contract signing, to creating a custom timeline for our wedding which I received within 1 week of booking. During our engagement photo session Melissa was SO helpful to make sure we had the best photo turnout. She captured all of the love and joy my fiancée and I felt toward each other in all of our pictures. Amanda was able to get our entire session back to us within 3 days!! Just… wow. I can't recommend Amanda and her team enough! We were married in June 2022, and have already received our wedding gallery. The photos came out better than we could have imagined, it's hard to choose our favorites! From the first email I received back from Amanda Rai Photography I knew that they were going to be the perfect match for our wedding. We started with a Zoom with Amanda, and learning about her associate team that we would be working with, which made both my fiance, Travis, and I more at comfortable and excited with the entire process doing photos! Amanda & Caroline are so professional and timely with responding to messages, setting up our engagement shoot, and helping us plan for our big day! Amanda was so wonderful for our engagement shoot! She sent a customized book that gave you tips on what prepare for/expect and how to coordinate. She has been so helpful through the entire process and helping coach us through the shoot. Our wedding is in the winter of 2022 and she has been so flexible with coordinating a time for our engagement pictures so we could have warmer weather! She sent our album so quick and the photos came out way better than my fiance and I imagined. It was so awesome to see the end result! We had a destination wedding in New Hampshire in October 2020 and hired Amanda for our photography which included engagement pictures and pictures on our wedding day. We could not have been luckier to select Amanda because she made us feel comfortable in front of the camera immediately, truly cares about her couples including reaching out multiple times during the craziness of 2020, and is honestly one of the nicest people I’ve ever met! I really don’t think our day would’ve been as special without her. If you are looking for a photographer in the New Hampshire area, I cannot recommend her enough!

OBSESSED is an understatement. I truly have never felt so beautiful and felt so much love through images until I saw my wedding pictures! Amanda and Melissa were a dynamic duo and captured the most amazing pictures of our wedding day- I could not have asked for anything more! My Fiance' and I are the least photogenic couple out there but somehow these gals were able to work their magic and capture all of the love and energy on our wedding day (Not to mention round up our 16 person wedding party together for photos).
