She was so much fun to work with, though it definitely helped that we personally had a lot in common: work history, love for photography, and passion for knitting. As someone who enjoys photography as a passion, it was important for me to find a photographer whose work wasn't the blown-out, overly posed stuff that I dislike in wedding photos. She did an excellent job of capturing our day, and her turnaround for both engagement and wedding photos was very good. I will be recommending Mandie to pretty much anyone who mentions they're in the market for a wedding photographer, especially if they're planning a DIY or offbeat wedding.
