From the initial booking to now getting our photos back has been effortless. She went above and beyond to help us and meet our needs from day one. We felt like we had known Amanda our whole lives. The moment we met we were laughing and having a good time which I must say it is very important. Having someone who can make you comfortable and laugh during a time where nervous energy can be present is a must. We felt so at ease being ourselves from engagement shoot to wedding day!! She has an eye for special moments and capturing raw emotion throughout the entire day! She captured so many moments that were “us” and each photo evokes so much emotion!! Her work is TOP NOTCH!! She is so insanely talented and even got us a sneak peek of some photos back the next day and within the next week!! I have friends from all over the world wanting her to travel to their weddings as the photographer. ess, choosing her was by far one of the best ones we could have made. I don't know how she does it, but she truly creates magic. I found Amanda from one of her posts on Instagram. I randomly saw it, saved it, followed her, and moved on. I continued looking at other local photographers over the next month or so, but I kept comparing their work with Amanda's, and nothing rivaled it or even came close. I then reached out and set up a phone call with her, and we just clicked from the very beginning. From the very first conversation to the time she delivered the wedding package, it is very apparent that Amanda is incredibly passionate and invested in her craft, and every photo shows it. She not only took the obligatory family photos and "You may now kiss the bride" shots (which were stunning and beyond the norm), but she captured some of the sweetest moments with my new husband among the chaos of that day - the quick glances, the sparkles in the eyes, the moments when you think no one is looking. Her magazine-worthy photos are some of my most treasured possessions that I can proudly display in my home, social media, everywhere, forever. It's easy for us to say that Amanda is our photographer for life.

tire time and we seriously got the most beautiful and amazing photographs from our day! I couldn't have dreamed of a better photographer. She doesn't just look at her clients as "x and y getting married this weekend" but rather takes the time to truly connect with you and become your friend. My husband normally feels REALLY awkward in front of the camera and she made him feel incredibly comfortable and at ease. Oh, and I should add that she shot an entire 10 hour day and delivered a complete wedding gallery in minimal time 3 weeks after she had a baby. Yeah, she's a rockstar. Hiring Amanda was an easy decision for us and honestly, her work speaks for itself, but if you're still on the fence I can promise you that you will not regret it!

I didn't realize she was there at some point during our wedding because she slips into the background and is able to take amazing candid photos. We look at our wedding photos everyday and really having the hardest time picking which photos we want to put in frames because they're all SO good! Thank you Amanda! While we weren't able to meet Amanda until the day of the wedding (through fault of our own), which in and of itself can be a little nervewracking, we instantly felt like we were talking to a best friend. She was nothing but a dream for my husband and I, who are admittedly camera shy. Our wedding party LOVED her, and to this day lovingly refer to her as "Stevie Picks" because she (Amanda) is as much of a rock & roll goddess - in photographer form, of course. When we received our photos, we were brought to tears by the beauty she captured in EVERY SINGLE MOMENT of the best day of our lives. I look at these photos constantly with as much joy and awe as the first time I saw them. We felt like choosing/finding her was absolute kismet.

story too. I look back at my engagement photos and I’m mesmerized by the mood and color she captured within each photo. She was completely accommodating and drove to Asheville from Charleston for the weekend to shoot our photos in the blue ridge mountains at black balsam knob and looking glass falls. Black balsam knobs was sentimental for her because she too had taken photos with her husband there. She made the whole experience so much fun with music and little bottles of champagne. She is so great with directing you and making you feel comfortable in your own skin. My now husband even remarked how she puts you at ease while taking the photos. Our wedding photos again were just as gorgeous. She was able to use the light and surrounding Asheville landscape so well while capturing us and family/friends throughout the evening. I cannot express enough how great of a photographer she is and her ability to capture each moment. Amanda is so down to earth and professional. She makes planning the wedding easy and fun! Bonus she is a blast to hang out with too! We are both so happy we went with her and would recommend her 100%. We really hope sometime in the future we can work with her again because her photos are so memorable. Thanks Amanda!
