Amanda is absolutely amazing! She did my mom and I’s hair and makeup for my June wedding. I wanted a very simple (“barely there”) makeup look and she delivered just that! She didn’t pressure me into adding anything and when I looked in the mirror I felt like myself which made me so happy! For hair, I showed her a picture of an updo I liked and she brought it to life even with my really thick/heavy hair! Also, Amanda has such a calm presence which helped me feel so relaxed on the morning of my wedding day. She even took the time to show us how to put on/take off my veil. My hair and makeup lasted the entire day and I’m so glad we went with Amanda! I highly recommend her!

Finding the right hair and makeup team was one of the most stressful parts of planning a wedding for me! I wanted someone who would come to our house to do a bridal party of 10, including mothers of the bride and groom! I came across Amanda and very happy I did! She and Nicole showed up at 6:45am to start our hair and make up. They listened to what each girl wanted and gave them exactly that! Nicole did my makeup which I absolutely loved, the airbrush and lashes stayed on all day amidst all my tears! My hair was better than I could have imagined from Amanda - she even adjusted in the middle to get it how I wanted! Overall very happy with my choice and would recommend them both for your wedding! her good reviews and all the experience. I had asked for bridal glam waves for my hair, and she just curled my hair. I also asked for a very specific style on the top to give me more volume and she just stacked my extensions and used bobby pins which all ended up sticking out. As far as makeup goes, it’s very expensive for very little makeup. One of my best friends got her makeup done by Amanda on wedding day and she put next to nothing on when my friend asked for something completely different. Amanda gave more of her opinion instead of just doing what my friend had asked. I had a make up trial with Amanda as well before wedding day and she had missed the mark on pretty much everything I had asked for with my make up. She does not prime the face, doesn’t add any moisturizer, didn’t add any lip liner, and then told me I had to provide my own lipstick. Her makeup skills are unfortunately severely lacking. On wedding day I was telling my friends and family that I was going to get ready to leave to head back to do my own makeup after I had my hair done by her, and she loudly in front of everybody asked me to pay her and then also loudly said, and the travel fee! Not only does her work scream beginner with hair and makeup, she was rude with payment. I definitely would have canceled her services if I didn’t sign a stupid contract. Brides be aware, if you are looking for a very specific hair look, unfortunately, Amanda cannot do that for you. The $150 she charges for makeup…. Save your money and just do it yourself. Though Amanda was OK to have around on wedding morning, I would not hire her again.

ur expectations. I do strive to have everyone leave happy. I am incredibly surprised and saddened by this review, it does not reflect the interactions we had that morning or the feedback given to me. It states in my contract that you will provide your own lipstick because that is the only thing you will have to reapply throughout the day. We work together to make sure you are prepped for the wedding. That includes skincare/moisturizer and hair prep at home. Since you were leaving the location, I simply asked for payment before you left. That is required for any wedding contract. With hundreds of 5 star reviews and 20+ years of experience, I pride myself on being a good communicator, and helping my clients feel and look their best. I wish you all the best moving forward. ❤️

Her prices are reasonable and she responds to messages quickly and efficiently.
My only critique is that I had to teach her how to do puppy liner. She must have practiced between the trial and wedding, though, because she nailed it!
My own mom passed away many years ago. Nothing can replace her, but Amanda's Mom Energy and bubbly straight-talking were huge helps for my nerves. I would recommend her wholeheartedly!
