Amani Affairs is an amazing company to work with! Jihan and Tiffany guide you through the entire wedding process to make sure that your big day is everything you could have imagined and more. They go above and beyond by adding small details to your wedding that you did not even know you wanted but they are perfect. They are organized, hardworking, and dedicated to each and every client. I could not have imagined my wedding without Amani Affairs and I highly recommend them to everyone!

Highly recommend hiring Amani Affairs to plan your wedding! They really did an outstanding job bringing my dream wedding to life by helping me find the perfect venues and great vendors. Easy to work with, and I found their pricing very affordable. Do yourself a favor and hire them!

My big day would not have happened without Amani Affairs! The meetings we had prior to the wedding day were extremely detailed and thorough. Every question we had was answered. At the rehearsal there were a few hiccups that Amani Affairs had helped rectify. They ensured my wedding was exactly what I wanted, within budget and smooth. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to plan a wedding!

When you start planning your wedding everything will be overwhelming. Just go ahead and hire Amani Affairs!!!! Jihan, Tiffany, and the entire team will take care of every little detail for you. We had very specific asks regarding vendors because we wanted most of our vendors to be women, BIPOC, and/or queer. And they delivered. We also didn't want flowers and they worked with us to make sure our design was JUST what we wanted. All of that happened months before, and then a week prior we had a major snafu with our caterer. Amani Affairs was able to get us a new caterer in ONE DAY. This was all thanks to the relationships they have in the industry. It is important that your wedding planner have relationships in the industry and if they don't, it's important people like them so they can work with them. That's a MAJOR factor that I don't think we thought about before but were happy to find out Amani Affairs knew all the right people! I would recommend them time, and time again not just for birthdays but for any and all celebrations.

Amani affairs is simply the best. We utilized their services for month of and day of coordination, but Jihan made sure we knew she was with us from the beginning, checking in to make sure we were on task and not panicking. The team at Amani affairs is professional and on point, the ladies who coordinated our day did not come to play any games, and made sure everything flowed exactly the way we all intended for it to. Their extra personal touches on decorations and last minute put togethers made everything come together flawlessly. I am beyond blessed to have had these women be a part of our day and help keep me sane, they are worth their weight in gold and then some!

Jihan with Amani affairs went above and beyond to bring our vision for our wedding to life. We had lots of extravagant ideas and she found ways to save us money. She also found an alternate vendor 2 weeks before the wedding when an original vendor fell through. We were very pleased with the Amani Affairs team. Our wedding was unforgettable.

As of the date of this review, I haven’t hired a wedding planner. I’m still trying to get everything in order. HOWEVER, I am hopeful that I will be able to hire Amani Affairs to help me. I have had several conversations with them and they even helped prevent a mini meltdown I was on the verge of having, even before the date was set. If they are willing to help you before you’ve even hired them, I can only imagine the amazing service you’ll receive once you do. Like I said, when I have tweaked a few things, I am hoping to be able to hire them.

Not only is she an expert in Event planning and execution but has years of experience in achieving superior ratings. We love collaborating together to with our clients to exceed all of their greatest expectations!

Where do I start? It was truly a great experience working with Jihan at Amani Affairs! She was very knowledgeable, experienced, and resourceful. She helped me plan our 40th wedding anniversary and vow renewal. Her advice and guidance was right on point. I had a vision, and she helped to make it come to reality (better than I had dreamed)! In more stressful times, her calm, level demeanor was invaluable. The result of a team effort (Amani Affairs, great vendors, my husband and myself ), we had a beautiful, fun, memorable event!

I am a hairstylist and I so enjoyed working with this team at a decent wedding . They gave me space to do my own thing all while keeping us informed and supporting anything we needed ! They are a must have!

Jihan and her assistant Logan did a PHENOMENAL job bring my visions to life! They were extremely professional and patient, as well as highly detail-oriented! She and Logan both ensured that every single detail was exactly as my husband and I requested. I honestly cannot say enough to commend Amani Affairs on a job MARVELOUSLY done!!

If you're considering Amani Affairs for your wedding - do it! Amani Affairs should be part of your wedding budget. I was not originally planning to hire a wedding coordinator for my daughter's DIY home wedding for 80 guests, but I briefly considered a day of coordinator. I found Jihan on Thumbtack and realized within a few moments that we not only needed a day of coordinator, but that we needed Jihan! Jihan and I had several meetings leading up to the wedding that covered everything, including tiny details that may have been overlooked at a home wedding. My nerves were immediately subsided after any communication with Jihan (which was often!) She is knowledgeable, organized, and professional. She's also friendly, easy going, and fun. All qualities you should look for in a wedding coordinator. The day of the wedding, Jihan and Angel were fantastic. We had a team of people assisting with set-up, decor, food, etc., but if something needed to be done - Jihan and Angel stepped right in to assist. Jihan kept us on task and on time without nagging (or if she was, you couldn't tell!) Above all those things, Jihan genuinely cared for my family and my daughter's wedding style. She fit right into our family and took the reigns once my daughter said "I do" so that we could enjoy the evening. And we did, because we knew Jihan had everything under control. I highly recommend Amani Affairs for your wedding!

Ms. Jihan François of Amani Affairs was the wedding planner of choice for my daughter’s destination wedding in Grand Cayman. There were multiple challenges since this was not only a destination wedding, but it also defied the conventions of a destination wedding whose intent is to have a small gathering. We had over a hundred invited guests! The challenges were further compounded by the fact that all the members of the wedding party, the parents of the bride and the groom all lived in different states, a couple in other countries, the farthest coming from from China. It was a truly international event with the quests also coming from various countries. This meant additional non- traditional jobs for our planner such as coordinating airport runs. Jihan, however, is a planner par excellence and efficiently managed all the intricate details to create a memorable event that our family cherished and our friends still talk about. Her dedication to making this the dream wedding for my daughter was shown when she spent hours putting together welcome gift bags for the hundred plus guests and orchestrated the welcome beach party with food and music for our large crowd. And if all these were not enough challenges, the day before the wedding, we were told that there would be an outdoor jazz fest next door to our venue and that there would be rehearsals going on during the wedding ceremony, which was also outside on the beach. Jihan again came to the rescue, working her miracles and our event was completed without a hitch and without interruption. If I sound effusive, it is because Jihan and Amani Affairs went way beyond our expectations. She respected our wishes and treated our family with courtesy and empathy, as if we were her family. I can assure you she will give her all to making your event as successful as ours was.

Jihan, You really came through. You got our families to the launch pad by remote control from the other side of the country. That seemed like the easy part, as you learned the likes and dislike of the bride, groom and family, and successfully navigated it all. I was amazed that the plan could be developed so precisely with players scattered across the country. When we all arrived for the big weekend you were ready to call the plays. What a partnership you and the priest formed to execute a beautiful ceremony. For me , as the groom's father, I was very proud of the rehearsal dinner that we hosted. Our family and friends really had a great time. After the dinner, I relaxed feeling that everything was going to be alright. I had no idea of all the coordination that was just around the corner. You guided us beautifully so that we are simply filled with lovely memories of the union. Thank you very much Mr. Henderson

“Sunset Wedding Happiness” Amani Affairs provided superb support on my wedding day and kept the day running smoothly. There was potential for flubs in seating and a possibility of interruptions to the ceremony due to the size of our wedding and the fact that everything was timed to an almanac's prediction of the sunset but Jihan made sure that it worked. There were a lot of balls to juggle: demanding guests, outdoor ceremony seating before the sun set, plus 'guarding the dress' during outdoor photographer work (again, working fast before the sun set). She rendered photo support all while simultaneously coordinating the outdoor string quartet and ensuring the pre-reception appetizers were served accordingly. There were little fires that she put out that I (as the bride) didn't even know about until I returned from the honeymoon.
