Found Amaryllis through my venue’s Instagram and man, thank God for insta otherwise I would’ve never found Erik!!! We had the most beautiful flowers on our wedding day. The centerpieces were practically bursting with flowers and bursting with color. Erik hit the nail right on the head with my vision. Erik was amazing to work with from start to finish! We hired Erik from Amaryllis for our 8/27/22 wedding at the Rockleigh. From our first meeting with Erik up until our wedding day, he was east and enjoyable to work with. He listened and executed our flower requests for centerpieces, bouquets, and ceremony flowers. All deliveries were also done seamlessly without interfering with our wedding day at all. On top of that, our venue unfortunately had a huge fire less than 48 hours before our wedding. The day and hours leading up to our wedding to see if it was going to even happen as planned, Erik stayed in touch with us and remained flexible to our needs. Luckily, our venue was able to repair and continue our wedding as planned. Would recommend Erik for your wedding flowers based on the quality of work and being easy to work with

Amaryllis gave us the flowers/decor of our dreams - they absolutely exceeded our expectations. Working with Erik was so easy and he's such a nice guy. He immediately understood our vision and was very respectful of our budget/ not pushy at all. He even helped us not get too carried away with flowers, offering his opinion of where he thought some additions weren't necessary. I cannot say enough amazing things about Amaryllis, especially working with Erik! The flowers/wedding décor were a high priority for us and our families, so there was a lot of stress around having the perfect arrangements and colors for our wedding ceremony and reception. From the beginning of our wedding journey to the actual wedding day, Erik was beyond helpful – incredibly patient, comforting, and responsive to our many, many questions. I remember, when we first met with him, he gave us advice for approaching the wedding planning journey. He was someone we immediately felt comfortable working with. Erik helped us brainstorm and navigate tough creative decisions, such as how to thoughtfully repurpose our ceremony décor for our reception. Did I mention he is the most patient man alive? We went through at least 4 rounds of different design ideas, including coming to him 3 months before our wedding date to ask that we basically start from scratch – new colors, new designs, new budget. Erik took it in stride, meeting with me and my future mother-in-law for 3 hours to rediscuss every detail of our wedding décor and flowers. Let me tell you – our flowers looked STUNNING on our wedding day!! I was speechless when I walked into our ballroom and I still am honestly. Our guests gushed and gushed about how fabulous everything looked. Booking Erik for our wedding is one of the best decisions we made.

Erik did an incredible job creating the flower arrangements, bouquets, and details for our church ceremony and wedding reception. He truly listened to what we had envisioned and executed it even better than we could have asked for. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and provided a beautiful sample center piece to show us his work before committing. We highly recommend his work!

OMFG! If you are getting married in NJ, Westchester or Long Island book them now. Amaryllis outdid themselves. Erik and his crew made my wedding dream come true! His attention to detail is impeccable. It was so exciting to see everything we discussed become a reality. We got married at The Rockleigh in NJ and the ceremony structure was flawless, the centerpieces were incredible, bouquets and flowers on the cake were perfect and the orchid display for the card table made me speechless! Flowers were so fresh and lasted for days after! We were so lucky to have them be a part of our special day!

The flowers for our wedding were stunning!!! Erik did an incredible job bringing our vision to life. The chuppah and ceremony space was gorgeous, and the center pieces in the ballroom all came together so well and were beautiful! Erik is extremely creative, and took our ideas for our flowers and made it into something beautiful! Our guests made so many wonderful comments of how amazing the room looked. We initially met with Erik in August 2019 and booked our wedding for late March 2020. Erik was accommodating and easy to work with during the planning and re-planning process. We finally had the wedding of our dreams in March 2022 and it was worth the wait! Even though the cost of flowers had dramatically gone up from the time of our initial booking, Erik was willing to work with us and our budget. I can't explain the number of compliments that we've received about our flowers from Amaryllis! They were absolutely stunning! Erik and the entire Amaryllis team are tremendous. Erik took our wedding day vision and budget and crafted a stunning chuppah, centerpieces, bouquets and boutonnieres for our wedding day. Additionally, he even threw in some flowers for our wooden wedding sign to ensure that the floral theme spanned across our venue. Excellent and just spectacular!!! We loved Erik, you have to work with him !! We just got married in 08/2020 and we had to choose our florist via zoom due to Covid -19. We had never met in person nor seen his work till the wedding day . It was the best decision we made. We had to change the proposal a few times because our setting was changed to an out door setting . Erik was so friendly, kind, and great to work with. He thought out side the box , and designed our outdoor wedding to be magnificent. The floral arrangements were so elegant, the guests and us were sooooo in love with the Floral arrangements and all his work. He brought my bouquet in person the day of the wedding to make sure I am happy with it. He accommodated our every need. He made our wedding day a magical day! Erik is the absolute best. We cannot say enough about him. From picking the PERFECT flowers to match our color scheme to making us feel at easy EVERY SINGLE STEP OF THE WAY, working with him was an absolute dream. Can’t recommend this vendor enough! Erik at Amaryllis was amazing to work with and created the most beautiful centerpieces, bouquets, and ceremony decor for our November 11th wedding at the Pearl River Hilton. There was no need to meet with any other floral vendors once I met with Amaryllis. I had one picture saved and Erik was able take that and create a vision. He was professional yet gave very personal attention to our decor. This vendor was very accommodating and easily reached throughout the planning process. Erik was there to oversee the setup and check in with me on the wedding day and it went flawlessly. Again, so grateful to this vendor and would recommend to anyone for any decorating needs.

Erik is incredible. Erik is hardworking, trustworthy, and extremely skilled. As another poster had written, he listens to what you want and stays within budget. My bouquet was more than I could ever have dreamed of, and my bridesmaids kept their bouquets and are using them as centerpieces in their homes. We got so many rave reviews on the Chuppah, and all of the centerpieces glowed under our LED lights. Erik puts so much consideration into every detail - even our wedding cake- and this did not go unnoticed. We would recommend him to anyone and everyone. He went above and beyond!

Eric exceeded our expectations. He is a true artist. Our ballroom was absolutely incredible. Every single little detail was paid attention to. He was always very easy going and accessible. I wanted peonies for my bridal bouquet and he told me from the start that it was very difficult to get them out of season. He told me not to get my hopes up, so I didn’t. But Eric persisted. He searched and searched and days before my wedding, found peonies. It’s that attention to customer service and detail that sets Amaryllis above all else.

Working with Erik was an absolute dream, from the moment I sat down in his office he eased my mind about making my dreams become a reality. Erik is an absolute expert when it comes to flowers and picked out the perfect ones to complete my bouquet, fill my room and create the most gorgeous chuppah. Upon walking into my wedding I was absolutely blown away with how it looked and I couldn't have been more thrilled. Can I give 6 stars ?? PERFECTION is all I can say when speaking about the flowers and decor at our wedding ! Amaryllis Event Decor went above and beyond to make our winter wonderland vision a reality. From the moment we met with Erik we knew he would not disappoint but honestly it was even better than anything we could have ever dreamed of ! Our guests were talking about the center pieces all night and saying how classy and elegant everything looked. I was also told by so many people that this was the best decorated wedding they have ever been to! The Park Savoy (our venue) also said that this was one of the best if not the best decor they have ever seen. From the flowers and candles to the arch that was made for us we could not have been happier. Erik and his team made everything so beautiful and I would recommend him to anyone. He was worth every cent !

I cant thank Erik enough for providing the most beautiful florals for my wedding this past weekend. When my mom and I met with Erik we had a very vague idea of what we wanted. I explained I wanted an elegant romantic all white look, meanwhile my mom wanted some pop of color. Erik spent over an hour going through photos of centerpieces, bouquets and types of flowers with us. He was ultimately able to create something far more amazing than i could have imagined. I also handed him a picture of a chuppah I had found online and asked for something similiar with a few white flowers and what he created was stunning. He went above and beyond in every way. BEST FLORIST!!! I was married on April 8th 2017 at the Grove in Cedar Grove New jersey. Erik was unbelievable to work from the start. Amaryllis Event Decor did the florals for my wedding this past Saturday at Rockleigh Country Club. I cannot say enough positive things about how the flowers turned out. The chuppah, centerpieces, and bouquets were breathtaking and more beautiful than I could have imagined! Beyond that, Erik Olsson was amazing to work with. I am an indecisive person and didn't know exactly what I envisioned for my wedding flowers when the process started (and what I wanted changed a few times along the way). Erik met with me multiple times to go over different types of flowers, show me samples, and make sure that he was getting everything exactly as I wanted. He was extremely responsive to my phone calls and emails, and he was patient in answering my questions and requests. I recommend Erik and the team at Amaryllis wholeheartedly. If I ever plan another party or event in the area I would certainly go back to them as well!

Erik is AMAZING!!!!! Him and his team created absolutely breathtaking decor with the freshest flowers that were so unique and memorable. My request was for an enchanted forest and decor that was not like every other wedding you see. Well he went above and beyond with every single detail. My centerpieces were unlike anything I have ever seen:) I received so many compliments and will never forget the feeling I had walking into my reception. I have to say that our experience with Erik and Amaryllis flowers was just a dream come true. We got engaged a year and a half ago and wanted to plan things slowly. We met with Erik right when we got engaged, and from that time period, all the way up until the wedding day, we were in constant communication, and he made our vision into a reality. One of the things I really wanted for my bouquet were peonies, and unfortunately with my wedding being in September, they were out of season. Erik, not only told me that they could try and make this possible, but he had contacts in Alaska who shipped over peonies for my wedding day. The peonies arrived and were not in the condition (as they are out of season) that I would have wanted them, and Erik spent hours finding suitable replacements for my peony bouquet vision. My bouquet was absolutely stunnning. With their efforts, our chuppah, centerpieces, and bridesmaids bouquets was everything we explained to him and more. For the bridesmaids bouquets, Erik asked for swatches of the bridesmaid dresses (2 different colors for 10 girls), and matched the bottom of their bouquet with their color ribbon. All of the little details really came together, and we are so thankful for Erik and the Amaryllis team. I would recommend them to anybody/ everybody out there looking for a florist. Truly amazing.

Breathtaking is the only word to describe the flowers at my wedding. Erik was not only an absolute pleasure to work with, but he surpassed anything I could have envisioned in my head when it came to the flowers at my wedding. Erik made the most unbelievable cherry blossom arch for me and my husband to get married under. It was gorgeous and everyone was in awe of it. My photographer was obsessed with this arch and we took tons of beautiful pictures under it. Erik even moved the arch into the reception room behind the sweet heart table so that I could enjoy it all night long. The centerpieces were nothing shy of amazing. I walked into my reception room and my jaw dropped when I saw the beautiful centerpieces. It was like a cherry blossom forest and I was amazed. Erik also made me an unbelievable bouquet made out of ivory and pink roses and crystal broaches. It was stunning and so different than anything I have ever seen. I got married this past Saturday and I have not stopped receiving rave reviews about the flowers and how absolutely gorgeous they were. I want to thank Erik for going above and beyond to make my wedding beautiful. I was so unbelievably happy with how everything turned out. He truly is a master and worth every penny!

Erik is fabulously creative, sincere, and a true pleasure to work with. We found him through our venue's recommended florists, but would absolutely recommend him to all brides! He helped me explore color ideas and worked with my vision to put together a selection of flowers that were a perfect match for my venue and bridal party color. All along the way he was patient, considerate with the overall budget, and easily reachable. We appreciated his evening appointment hours and the time that he spent with us going over each detail... even when I went back-and-forth on what i wanted! He was able to make valuable suggestions along the way that we might not have considered otherwise. The day of the wedding, it all fell perfectly into place. I loved the flowers so much that my friend made me potpurri to capture it forever.

Eric, the owner, is truly wonderful. Yes this place can get pricey, but it is worth every penny. Of course there is always wiggle room, but to get full, lush, vibrant flowers, this is So Worth it!!! From the minute my guests walked into the lobby, to the ceremony, to the amazing reception, Eric helped create a beautiful story with flowers. He was so wonderful in helping to keep costs down while still providing beautiful arrangements. The flowers were gorgeous and all stayed beautiful for a week after the wedding! This is the second major function we have had the extraordinary pleasure of using amaryllis floral and event decor. They have exceeded my expectations each time. We just made our daughters wedding and planned the entire floral component from the escort card table to the lighting in the ballroom. Erik read every email, understood our vision and was able to execute the feeling of a winter wonderland that we wanted. Erik & his team did a fabulous job! Considering it was a July wedding and an outside ceremony the flowers were incredibly fresh and healthy. Our outside ceremony was out of this world from the flowers spread around the aisle to the humongous arrangements by the chapel. Erik even decorated my son (the ring bearer)' s wagon, ring pillow and flower girl baskets. My centerpieces for the reception were gorgeous!!! Eric was fantastic. He did a beautiful job and the quality of the flowers were excellent. He worked from my ideas (photographs) to build my design to fit my budget. He was not the most reasonable florist we saw, but ultimately we chose him for the wow factor of his designs. Boy, did he deliver. I would use him again in a heartbeat.

The flowers were BEAUTIFUL - Erik called me a week or so before to ask if he could switch flowers for me because he wanted to make sure I had the freshest flowers for the season which was very thoughtful. The entrance to my ceremony looked like it was from a movie - they did such a wonderful job and they were so wonderful to work with. Also, if you are getting married at the Rockleigh, they are right next door which is so conveient in case you actually do have any issues (which I didn't.) I couldn't have asked for more!

Erik is a dream to work with! I met with Erik twice to discuss my vision for my wedding. We was spot on with excellent suggestions for the flowers and designs. Above all, he will tell you what works and what doesn't-he doesn't yes you to death. That is a great quality of someone who is confident in his work. He is all about quality and wants the best because he wants to uphold his reputation. That is the hallmark of an excellent vendor. All of his creations for my wedding were gorgeous! He made the most beautiful centerpieces for my wedding. My bouquets were breathtaking! I love him!
