Hello, my name is Daniel Bodamer from Amazing Day Wedding Officiants, Photographers & Dj's in Traverse City, MI, and I want to extend a very warm welcome. Imagine watching your wedding ceremony from the perspective of the audience. Is it interesting, does your officiant interact with everyone? Did you laugh, maybe shed a tear, but did you pay attention? Could you hear and see everything that was going on, or was it just like the last wedding you witnessed? We perform a modern format ceremony whenever possible (we do traditional too), it makes everyone in your audience of family and friends a part of your celebration, and weddings are a celebration. However, we are not the cheapest officiants; we work too hard to be, but we are usually less than the wedding cake, and we feel the only reason for the wedding cake is the ceremony. I have brought together the best collection of talented people I could find to offer you the finest on your amazing day. You can have an elegant, romantic wedding with a ton of fun and still be down to earth. Classic and creative, formal to casual, traditional, practical, but most importantly, fun is what we love to do. All Officiants, DJs, and Photographers share my vision to serve you at the highest level possible. We would love to participate in your adventure. Daniel Bodamer Owner & Officiant Amazing Day Weddings Please note: This last wedding season, we had 29 family/friends acting as officiant bail on performing the ceremony, and we had to rescue the weddings (note: Amazing Day Weddings has NEVER canceled on a couple). Most bailed within a week; four did it the day before, and two the day of the wedding. Because of the enormous stress on us, and especially you, we have decided not to rescue weddings next when your officiant is a no-show, so please make sure you have your bases covered.

great style for a modern wedding ceremony. I had only 2 complaints. 1) he had a difficult type pronouncing my name, and did stumble over it a few time during our wedding which was unfortunate. 2) he took the wrong wedding certificate into the courthouse instead. We both signed one beautifully, and the second one be both fumbled a bit and was messy. He took the incorrect one to the courthouse. So smaller things to some, but having my name mispronounced during my wedding ceremony was unfortunate.

us he could do a traditional or modern ceremony. We weren't sure what we wanted to do so the day of the rehearsal he took the time to go over both to help us make our decision. On that same day we decided that we were going to do a candle ceremony and he was very willing to accommodate the last minute decision. ked down the aisle, Dan Bodamer from Amazing Day walked out alone, greeted everyone and then started telling a story, a love story; our love story. Dan said “He was typical engineering student; scared to death of talking to a pretty girl, but today is different and he was determined to speak to her, No matter what”! “So today he walked past three coffee shops with hopes that this girl he had spotted weeks ago was working.
She had spotted this cute boy in the library but every time she got close enough to talk, he didn’t even notice her. Now its Saturday and she did have that day off in the coffee shop but was asked to take a friends shift, so she did. She spotted him walking in and he got into the line she was serving. He thought “there she is” and got in her line but this time he spoke to her and he asked her a question. She replied “Jordan” and he knew at that moment that he would fall in love with a girl named Jordan. He said “Simon” and she knew at that moment that she would fall in love with a boy named “Simon”. Then Dan said “and that’s what brings us here today, Coffee…..Oh, and Love”. Everyone clapped!!! It was perfect and then the wedding started. Our vows Dan had written included parts of our story, even the coffee.

I must have communicated with Dan a million times, I bet I drove him nuts but he never showed it, in fact he would tease me if he hadn't heard from me for a few days. Then came game day and everything fell into place. I wanted to do something...
special and Dan proved to be very creative; gave me a few suggestions which worked out beautifully. He suggested that each of our parents and grandparents bring a ribbon of which he went around and collected, then brought them back to the alter and wrapped our hands with them. Everyone at the reception said it was the most moving weddings they had ever witnessed. If you are looking for an Officiant who is the best, look no further than Dan!

d "read the email I sent you” In it were vows that Dan had written for me. He said "change what you need to" They were perfect, I changed nothing.
Our rehearsal the day before went very smooth with Dan directing us when to walk and where to stand. On my wedding day he even taught the ushers what to do! During the service Dan acknowledged my grandparents because they were celebrating 48 wonderful years together that day. I don't know how Dan knew that but it made them glow.
What I am amazed with is how relaxed Dan made us feel. I was so nervous as I walked up to the alter, then Dan quietly asked me "Have you two met?" It made my fiance and I laugh and then he started. I heard every word. In one part he had us hold hands and said "These are the hands of your best friend" and spoke about how our hands through time get old but have the same gentle loving touch. My fiance teared up! I have only seen him tear up when the Tigers lost! All in all Dan had us laughing and crying, it was the most amazing day of my life. If you are fortunate enough to have Dan officiate your wedding it will be your most amazing day too. Thank you Dan!
