My wife and I had Amazing Edibles cater our wedding reception and they were wonderful! The food was delicious (we even had some guests tell us that it was the best meal they ever ate), the staff was courteous and helpful, and the entire process from first contact through the reception was seamless. Andrea and our coordinator contact at AE were very helpful and answered all of our (many) questions in the months leading up to our wedding day, and we were blown away by the quality and service at our reception. I highly recommend Amazing Edibles to cater your event!

Amazing Edibles went above and beyond to make our Ignite Glass Studio wedding absolutely perfect!! We could not be more grateful to Andrea, Sarah and the whole team. The appetizers and dinner were delicious - we continue to receive compliments on how great everything was! Beyond the food, the AE team was so helpful leading up to the day with the timeline, logistics, and layout which otherwise would have been super stressful. All of the servers and bartenders were incredibly professional and attentive which made the night run smoothly! We keep saying that AE was the best decision we made when planning our Chicago wedding and would highly recommend them!

Amazing Edibles was one of the best parts of our wedding. They were flexible and understanding when we had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic. Everyone on staff was wonderful to work with, the food tasted great, and the service was top-notch.

Our original caterer decided not to renew their liquor license and we had to scramble to find a new caterer. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Amazing Edibles, was well, amazing to work with. Unlike the other caterers we contacted, they made sure to sit down with us and go over each step of what would happen at the wedding before we even had a complete proposal from them. No one else provided as much information or made us feel like we were cared about. Hulda and Andrea were delightful and made wedding planning fun. The food was absolutely delicious and we received a lot of compliments from our guests, especially our guests that don't eat meat as the sweet potato quinoa cakes were to die for. Their staff was professional and extremely friendly. One of their bartenders said our wedding was really cool and we really appreciated the compliment. The reception was held at Promontory Point in Chicago, which was a brand new space for Amazing Edibles, however you would never have guessed that based on how smoothly everything ran. We would recommend this company to anyone.

I can't recommend Amazing Edibles enough. I used them for my wedding earlier this month, and they are truly an excellent catering team. First off, their team is exceptional. From the folks that helped with my menu and details to the servers and captains on the day of, everyone was so kind and helpful. Second, the food is VERY GOOD! The chicken and salmon we had at our wedding was tasty and not dry at all, like you might see elsewhere. They went above and beyond with delicious appetizers, a large salad portion, and even truffle popcorn at the bar area. The pricing was reasonable for a Chicago wedding, and I would highly recommend working with AE for any catered event. They are in the know on the industry and are there for their clients - they even sent us cute gifts throughout the process like a couples card game!

We thoroughly enjoyed all the choices on our AE buffet for our daughter and son-in-law's reception. The appetizers were plentiful and delicious. Often at a wedding, the servers follow a route and not everyone gets offered something during cocktail hour but these servers paid attention. And they had smiles on the faces, were nonintrusive, pleasant, and efficient. The bartender was amazing too. Most of all, Hulda made us feel confident and well taken care of. Cannot recommend them enough.

Amazing Edibles was definitely AMAZING! From the beginning, this company was there to answer every question I had and was very helpful in making and changing our proposal. Andrea, Diana, and Hulda were quick to make the changes I requested, up until the night before our wedding! They made our tasting so much fun and it was so hard to decide on what to serve our guests. Everything we tried was so delicious. We heard nothing but positive things throughout the night about how awesome the food was, how amazing the service was, and how great the drinks were. Our night went perfectly according to plan because of them! I cannot thank them enough for all that they did for us!

Amazing Edibles was absolutely one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. The tasting was fun, delicious, and special- and from that experience of working with the Amazing Edibles, the team was a total breeze. After years of experience, they have a wealth of knowledge and wisdom that they happily shared with us (who were a bit clueless, to be honest) and they did so graciously and while still making sure to tailor the food choices, the table, and bar to our specific personalities and wants. When our "tropical drink" bartender went out of business 2 months before our wedding- I reached out to them (in the busiest wedding season of all time) and asked if they could make our tiki drink dreams come true- and they happily obliged! I told my fiance that Andrea from Amazing Edibles was officially my favorite person on earth after that conversation :) I would recommend them to anyone in need of a caterer, and I hope that someday I will be able to hire them again!

We had the best experience working with Diana and Andrea during the entire planning. My now husband and I did not have to worry about a single thing; they are beyond reliable and our questions were always answered timely. Fast forward to our wedding day, finally, the FOOD—11/10. During and after the wedding, our guests could not stop talking about how bomb and amazing the food was! We also could not forget how kind, attentive, warm and professional the event staff was. Planning a wedding during a pandemic comes with a lot of stress but we were so lucky to have had Amazing Edibles as part of our wedding team. They were incredibly understanding and flexible and provided support and guidance along the roller coaster of a year. They even worked with us to adjust our guest count two weeks before the wedding so that we could have the wedding we always dreamed of. Sarah Ann and the team at Amazing Edibles deserve your business if you are planning an event that could use their expertise and very personal attention to every detail. Due to Covid, our wedding reception needed to be postponed from April to August 2020 and our guest list needed to be cut. This could have been even more stressful had it not been for the most understanding and flexible care we received during unprecedented circumstances. Ultimately every detail was “amazing” ! Everyone complimented us on presentation, service, and delicious food. We felt absolutely no stress and everything went so smoothly that we didn’t even need to think about it. They coordinated everything flawlessly with all the other vendors too. If we could give more stars we surely would!

We've been working with Andrea and Sarah Ann at Amazing Edibles to cater our wedding since 2018. As soon as we had our first “bridal bites,” we knew they were the perfect caterer for us. Their food is delicious, their attention to detail is impeccable, they were within our budget and they are genuinely a great team to work with. When COVID-19 hit, we were two months away from our original wedding date and we subsequently had to pivot our original plans. Instead, we had a micro-wedding and brunch last weekend and we’ll be using their team again for a larger reception next summer. Even with the sudden change in plans, AE was flexible, supportive and super responsive to anything that we needed. Sarah Ann immediately jumped in and helped us change our buffet dinner to buffet brunch—which was a hit! Andrea even helped direct our wedding processional and was waiting behind the curtain with a glass of champagne after the ceremony. Thank you AE for helping us navigate the process through these uncertain times! We had such an amazing wedding day and we can’t wait until next summer!

We recently used Amazing Edibles Catering for our wedding in September. Diana was so amazing to work with, she was extremely helpful, patient and professional. With COVID-19 we faced many changes with our original wedding/catering plans. Amazing edibles worked with us and were so flexible and literally let us make changes week of our wedding. We changed guest count, dinner style, place setting and linens; and Amazing Edibles was AMAZING with rolling with all these changes given the circumstances. They were so supportive and helpful during the whole planning period. Also the guests keep talking about how delicious our food was!!! We loved everything, all the food was AMAZING! Diana even set a separate plate of our cocktail appetizers in our bridal suite so my husband and I could enjoy them-which we were so thankful she did that!!! I could not recommend Amazing Edibles Catering enough, they would be amazing for any event!! Thank you!!!!

We used Amazing Edibles for our wedding of 150 guests and we had SO many people asking us who provided our food. It was fabulous!! From our initial meeting, to the tasting and then on the wedding day everything went extremely smoothly and not to mention, the food was delicious!! Sarah Ann and Diana were a DREAM to work with - very responsive and they truly became friends throughout the process. They have an extensive list of appetizers and main dishes and were also extremely willing to help with allergic guests and the few vegans that we had attend. I would hire them for any event again in an instant!

Diana, Gerardo and team were phenomenal- from helping us select a menu to arranging rentals for our wedding reception. The food was delicious and the team, lead by Gerardo, were professional and friendly. Amazing food and amazing team!

Amazing Edibles was hired by friends to cater their September 15th wedding. Since I'm an Executive Assistant, I served as the couples day-of coordinator and I worked closely with Sarah and her incredible team. From start to finish, they were FANTASTIC! In the lead up to the wedding, their staff was beyond helpful with providing prompt responses to all of our questions as they were doing the catering and managing set up for both the reception and ceremony spaces. Sarah, our main contact, was a gift from the heavens! She was very attentive to even the smallest of details, she helped us keep an eye on the budget, and she even came to my rescue when the event space threw a curve ball at me the night before the wedding. On the day of the event, Sarah wasn't able to be there but she made sure her team was up to speed and they did not miss a beat! The owner of the company even came to help out since Sarah was unavailable and she wanted to make sure everything went well. We had a difficult venue to work with and a limited amount of time to flip the rooms (they had to set it a space for 115 people). The team at Amazing Edibles did such an incredible job that I've recommended them to three other brides! They were easy to work with, professional, attentive, and affordable. I loved working with them and would highly recommend them!

Similar to Juli D, my wife and I hired Amazing Edibles to cater our wedding on July 22, 2018, at a loft we rented in Logan Square. They were actually the third catering company we contacted. The first two, based on friends' recommendations, left us feeling a little hopeless - that we'd inevitably end up paying too much for a service/offering that didn't quite deliver - and, looking back, that was maybe partly to do with our request. Our wedding wasn't traditional or normal or easy - it was a disco-themed surprise wedding taking place in the middle of a joint bachelor / bachelorette party. What we wanted from a caterer was an open mind, delicious food, flexibility, and some genuine enthusiasm for our idea that would help spur creative thinking for how we were going to pull the event off (because we didn't really have a clue). In the early days of our search, we kept seeing the word 'personalized' on catering companies' websites. That's what every couple is looking for in their wedding, right - a personalized event and memory, an embodiment of their love come to life for their family/friends. As such, it's essential that the vendors and people involved buy into your vision. Of the three vendors, Amazing Edibles was the only company actually offering personalization, and that was only the beginning. From our initial consultation with Andrea and Sarah through the day of, it was genuinely evident they wanted in and would do everything within their power to deliver. For our first meeting, Andrea had a spread of bites ready for us to sample, and both asked questions that helped us fill in some of our plan's gaps. They never once said no or expressed frustration with some of the more difficult asks. Sarah was in constant contact with us leading up to the wedding night, always available to answer questions and amend our contract if we had changes (which we did a few times, pretty late in the game, and it never posed a problem). That brings us to the wedding night, and WOW - the set-up, food and service. Gorgeous, speedy set-up - incredible food - and a crew that kicked ass and accommodated our every whim. Based on the other reviews I've read, there's no event, big or small, conservative or out there, that Amazing Edibles is not equipped to handle. Andrea hires the best and works with the best, and that, along with her expertise, attention to detail, and totally charming self, is what makes Amazing Edibles the best catering company in Chicago.

We hired Amazing Edibles to cater our wedding on July 28,2018 at Moonlight Studios in Chicago. Let me just start by saying that I never thought getting a caterer just to call me back when planning a wedding would be so difficult, but that does NOT apply to Amazing Edibles. After trying several times to get a hold of Blue Plate, I gave up and gave Amazing Edibles a call based solely on Yelp reviews. I was not sure what to expect, but I was glad I made that call. Andrea and Diana are two of the most amazing people to work with. They are experienced, attentive, super nice, and thorough. We did not want to hire a wedding planner, so we were going to need a little extra help setting up the reception. Not only were they more than happy to take care of that, they did an excellent job executing my vision. Let's not forget the most important part...the food was truly AMAZING! We got so many compliments from our guests! Next time I need a caterer, Amazing Edibles will be at the top of my list :)

We had Amazing Edibles do all the catering for our wedding. They were SO amazing. Our venue had an open vendor policy, so Amazing Edibles worked with us to serve the food that we wanted. They were able to make it an easy process, from deciding what food we wanted to serving everything with seamless transitions. The best catering team we could have asked for! We worked really hard to find a caterer that was down to earth, knowledgable, and had great food. Amazing Edibles was it - no doubt. We had a wonderful tasting with Andrea. Not only was the food good, but we had FUN! We got along well with her and knew that we were in good hands for our big day. Working with them in the weeks leading up to the wedding was a breeze. Diana was on top of everything and we always had an updated invoice that reflected our additions and changes. They were a great source of advice and helped us figure out details specific to the venue. We knew that no matter what, they had our back and would do the best they could to make everything perfect. Wedding day was perfect! And a lot of that was thanks to Amazing Edibles. They did an amazing job setting up the venue (Floating World Gallery) and helped put set up our decorations. Each detail was executed perfectly. We heard SO MUCH positive feedback on the food. People loved it and came up to us all night telling us how amazing it tasted. My husband's uncle even asked for their business card! It was delicious comfort food and it truly made our wedding night better. I couldn't recommend the Amazing Edibles team enough. Do you need some calm, competent people to do things so you don't have to? Would you like to look back on your wedding and think, “Wow, I really made some great decisions!”? (...in regard to your caterer that is. As for your partner, you're on your own.) This review is long overdue because even now, more than a year after our wedding, choosing Amazing Edibles as our caterer was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. Their competence, customer service and attention to detail were huge factors in our celebration going off without a hitch, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend them to anyone. Our wedding was very DIY, and because we were not hiring a coordinator, I felt extremely anxious about the logistics of the celebration. From the initial email to the day itself, AE put us at ease. We had a unique situation--actually, it might be more appropriate to say that we threw them a huge curveball--in that we planned on ordering delivery from our favorite restaurant for dinner and brewing all our own beer, but we needed people to serve and staff the event. At our initial consultation with the owner, she assured us that AE would absolutely be able to help us, and she made helpful recommendations about how to set up our reception (to avoid long waits at the bar) and how many kegs of beer we should brew (she recommended fewer than we'd originally planned, and she was right). She calmed all my anxieties about the logistics that day, and I'll never forget what she said to me before we parted: “Don't worry about this, because this is our job to handle. You just go get a massage.” Uhh, yes ma’am! The day of our wedding, AE made everything go perfectly, and I mean PERFECTLY. They set the tables with my handmade centerpieces and made the room look beautiful. They accepted the dinner delivery and set up the dinner buffet and appetizer bar, including the last minute crudité trays I had ordered from them 2 weeks before the wedding. They did a million things I had never even thought to ask for, but they went ahead and did them anyway, like passing drinks on trays before the ceremony to alleviate congestion at the bars, holding the door open for me as my dad escorted us out the building and down the aisle, and boxing up all our leftovers at the end of the night. And they did all of this while keeping to our schedule and moving things along without ever seeming like they were rushing about. Throughout the evening, every single AE staff member with whom I interacted was courteous, kind, and had a smile on their face. At the end of the end of the night as we packed things up, I couldn't lift a single centerpiece without being swarmed by no fewer than 3 AE staff members rushing to help me. They helped load our cars and had the room completely broken down and ready for cleaning well in advance of our deadline to be out of the space. Naturally I had had high hopes for the day, but AE completely exceeded every expectation. My husband’s assessment was to wonder whether we had accidentally hired a wedding coordinator instead of a catering staff, they were so on top of everything. And just to offer some diversity of opinion, I should mention that to this day, when my parents wax nostalgic about our wedding, they never fail to mention “that WONDERFUL staff!” Hire Amazing Edibles for your wedding! You will not regret it!
