nute to talk after the mass. We then did not speak until one week before the wedding, due to our wedding planners communicating to us that the day before he would be joining us for the rehearsal. The call began with my wife asking him if he would be joining at the church; he took it very offensive and became very disrespectful to her to the point she had to hand me the phone. I calmed down the situation and understood if that was not the routine manner, but we were just doing as told. His solution was to send us an email and we could practice on our own. He then said the second half of the money needed to be handed to him before the ceremony; mind you it had already been sent to him 2 weeks prior and taken out of my account (which means he had cashed it). We then cleared a few details of times and told us he would be there slightly earlier to leave everything signed, so have the marriage paperwork at hand. The wedding day came and I arrived with my groomsman at 2:45; ceremony was at 3:30. He arrived at 3:00 as he said over the phone to sign papers prior and set up. At that time while i was taking pictures with the photographer he came close to where I was at and stared me down. I went up to him and greeted him and he did not look happy. Apparently I had put 3:00 on the contract as the start time. I apologized for the mistake made and he rudely answered "this does not work this way and he would not be able to do the mass and he will be leaving." In disbelief I asked him that this could not be true. He said he had a contract in hand and his duty was to be there from 3--3:30 and he had another 3 weddings to do after mine. I asked him to please put the contract aside and think as a human being; he said that this country works this way. I had to walk away in complete pain and my family began asking that this was not true, that this could not be happening. He then said he would wait 15 minutes. The bride was called and rushed over. He took my mother's dream of walking me down the isle to the altar. He did not let the ceremony go as planned; made myself an all the groomsman stand at the altar so as soon as the bride arrived she would walk straight in. Her bridesmaids, mother and sister were following behind and were not part of the first 5 minutes of the 10 minute ceremony. He called my wife by a different name the first 3 times he called her name until a family member had to correct him in the middle of the ceremony. Of course the whole ceremony had to be simulated again for the pictures because the beginning of our day was a catastrophe. This man is doing his job for the wrong reasons, money is all that is on his mind. This man is doing his job for the wrong reasons, money is all that is on his mind. Sad since he is from my country of Spain and many of my family members from Spain came just to be very disappointed by his actions.
