Renata was amazing to work with for our wedding! From the start, she had such a fun, kind, and easygoing way about her that instantly put us at ease. She and her assistant, Melissa...
, have an incredible eye for capturing real, happy moments — nothing felt forced or staged. We loved that Renata shoots both film and candid photos, which gave us such a great mix of artistic and natural shots. She made sure we were comfortable, kept things light, and somehow managed to catch every special moment. The photos are absolutely stunning, and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer who’s both talented and genuinely wonderful to work with. Boom! 😃
Where do I start with Renata?! She is everything we could have asked for and more. We had our wedding as a destination wedding and I have known I wanted Renata to be our wedding ph...
otographer for years! She came out the day before and scouted around the neighborhood to find the best backdrops for portraits. On top of that, she grabbed every single picture we could have wanted plus some. Her attention to details as well made it so we could really remember and see the things we didn't have time to catch the day of. I can't recommend her enough and appreciate her eye for a perfect shot!!

Renata's ability to hone in on our personality and style allowed us to relax and enjoy the process and I'm pretty sure made for some amazing pictures.
An added perk was my in-laws are from Brazil and being Brazilian herself, Renata was able to engage and communicate with them effortlessly.
I highly recommend her services to anyone getting married who is looking for a photographer that is artistic and fun.
Thank you Renata!
We selected Renata to be our wedding day photographer based on a recommendation from our wedding coordinator. Although we liked the photographs she had posted on her blog (definit...
ely check out her blog) we were blown away by the pictures she took of our wedding. I don't consider myself photogenic but I am happy to display our wedding photos. Renata and her second photographer Ashley made us feel comfortable and captured such beautiful pictures. If we lived in San Diego (we're on the opposite coast), we would hire Renata for all of our future photos.
Renata Amazonas is an amazing woman and photographer. She met with my fiance and I close to our home. She spoke to us about her packages and what they included. She was very pat...
ien with us and answered all of our questions. She is such a cool person and fun to be with that on our 1st meeting, we decided to say with her. We did our engagement photo session at Balboa Park. My fiance and I were so mervous. We had never had professional photos taken of us and did not know what to do, Renata was great with us. She made us feel soo comfortable and we were just being us as she took the pictures. She gave us our engagement photos back very quickly. And wow!! They were amazing. I could not believe how nice they came out. we have recieved so many compliments on those photos. The same went with our wedding day. She came to my mom's house for the bridal prep. She knows what will make a great photo and she makes it happen. We had soo much fun hanging out with her at the wedding and for the photo session. The entire bridal party loved her. She knows how to capture the most important moments. We will continue to work with Renata. very soon we will have family photos and hopefully soon we will have our maternity pictures taken by her also. I highly recommend Renata. You will be left with beautiful memories of you wedding day.
