l bad for anyone who uses this photographer. I saw all of the review everyone had nothing but amazing things to say. I however had the worst experience. There was little to no conversation beforehand. I did state my family was a little difficult as we have divorce and step parents who are a major part of my life. Ambar Photography seemed understanding of that. To make it easier I sent them a list of every single picture with name for my family/extended family pictures that way we were sure to get all of the different combinations we wanted. Day of: The photographers seemed so disorganized it was obvious to everyone. They didn't bring the list that took me hours to create and didn't let me know they forgot it until it was time to shoot and now we needed to scramble. Their son that was helping was always no where to be found and we were constantly waiting for him to get the lighting right. I had to remind them multiple times to take pictures when they were supposed to be. My sister looked at one of them during the ceremony and mouthed take pictures and the wife snapped out of watching us and starting taking more. Both of my sisters had to take lead in organizing pictures because they had no directions or weren't paying attention. The wife was constantly sitting on her phone asking about hashtags instead of doing her job. Afterwards: It took three weeks to return a sneak peak which is to me is expected -- and they took forever to respond to my email. Afterward is nothing but frustration. It took them 17 weeks to return my pictures to me. And that was only after many unanswered emails of me asking where they are. As I look through the pictures I am utterly disappointed. For pictures of my husband and I they had us do the EXACT SAME pose in every single picture. They all look exactly the same. Then day of preceded to say "do different poses"(I for one am not creative nor was I thinking about poses that we'd want to do and I thought that was their job). They took one picture of the entire bridal party and thought that was good enough. I had to tell them that we wanted more than one picture with our bridal party and afterwards we have about three okay ones to use. Pathetic. There is one picture of every single family picture, most of which are completely useless because half of the group looks bad, how they didn't take more than one picture of a group of people to then let me choose which one is best is mind blowing, as any normal picture usually take 3-4 of a given group of people. These photos are a complete disaster. I am embarrassed that I ever hired them and paid for what I received. If you spend money on something, especially a significant amount you should expect a certain quality, or just the bare minimum. This was the worst decision I ever could've made. Any random person with a camera would've been been better to use. I would obviously suggest NOT to hire them. This was awful and I am shocked that they had positive reviews before.

I spoke to Eddie quite a few times prior to the wedding, and we made sure to have each and every detail in the timeline nailed down. Our day was a little hectic as my husband had a broken ankle- so our initial plans didn't work too well. Although we had limited mobility, Eddie & Ambar still captured each, and every photo we wanted, and more that we love! An extra big shout out to Ambar, our 3YO daughter (and flower girl) was not in the best of moods - but Ambar got her tears to stop with ease more times than I can count, and for that I am forever grateful! Our sneak peak is amazing, and we cannot wait for the full gallery to be ready. ervous brides know to chose Ambar Moreno Photography with confidence and excitement. I obsessed about this part and really took the fun out of planning for 2 months. I found them through Alliance Videographer who offers a combination pack for brides to get photo and video together. When trying to find a photographer, I compared example photos and prices of vendor recommendations from my wedding coordinator. I also looked at the top choices promoted by The Knot and The Wedding Wire. When I saw Ambar’s sample pictures on her site, they stood out and seemed to have more depth and distinction than any other beach wedding pictures. To me, the photographer was the most important vendor to chose and the videographer was the extra bonus. Lucky for me, I got 2 top-notch vendors for a unbeatable price in one package. I spoke to Eddie Moreno who gave me a full picture of the day and asked me all preferences. I hadn’t even booked them yet but felt such relief. This was a true professional wedding photographer with years of experience working together. I knew they were my choice. The couple shoots together so you automatically get 2 photographers, which should not be underestimated. One of them is off with the groom, one of them is setting me up while the other is shooting. They are multitasking all day and saving time. There is lighting. There is finding the next shot. And if you have over a 100 guests, you’ll want two people capturing all the moments. 2 photographers to me was critical. As for cost, I had the optimal experience and was able to stay in my budget. Other photographers had a large starting price tag and started take off this and take off that. I didn't want less! I wanted more options with a great price tag. Also, getting 2 photographers and a videographer for less than the price of one photographer was a miracle to me. I chose their smaller package. Then they let me add on the the things I wanted as a bonus. They are comfortable to be around. From the minute they arrived, the are snapping and setting up the next look or group of photos. I did not even have to think. They’ve done this so long they know the important moments and standard trendy shot like all the bridesmaid in their robes, etc.They also followed us to about 4 different sites around town. When I suggested a shot, they immediately agreed and improved my vision! They know what to look for and how to turn your head. They watch and see it from the artist’s mind. (I know because they sent me a few early, gorgeous pictures. Their prices trumped the competitors, which I think is what most brides on a budget need. I believe I got the most value for what I spent. Each company provides just videography or photography packages, but I felt the best deal was the combo pack with Alliance Video. They have 2 packages and let you customize. I could add on which helped me not cross my budget. I liked that Ambar and Eddie had shot beach weddings in the town and specific venue, The Grand Hotel of Cape May, where mine was. Being familiar with the area assured there wouldn’t be wasted time getting to the ideal shooting locations. My day was wonderful because of these photographers. Eddie and Ambar, I am grateful!

They were experienced, professional, courteous; to us AND our families, and their creativity is just off the charts. would be an understatement! Eddie and his team were extremely professional throughout the initial meeting until the end of the wedding day. One thing you don't think about is also how social the photographers will be with your guests, and let me just say my entire bridal party loved spending the day with Eddie and Ambar. Both were so personable and social - little jokes here and there made the day all that more enjoyable. My husband and I felt comfortable with them while they're taking pictures, which is why I feel the pictures came out the way they did - beautiful! I cannot wait to see the final touches and the complete collection of photos from the day!

In addition (partially my fault too), they did not get pictures of me and the bridesmaids dressed, my husband and groomsmen, and other key pictures. When it’s your big day, so many things are running through your head and types of pictures aren’t really a front runner. Those should be go to pictures for photographers but for some reason they didn’t get those. Advice, make sure you have every photo listed that you want taken. For the amount of money we spent (kind of pricey), I was expecting more. Don’t get me wrong, they were beautiful pictures and a very nice couple but the pictures we saw when we met with them didn’t reflect the pictures we got.

When I asked if it was possible to get my photos before Christmas, even though it was under their time frame, (my wedding was September 30th), they got them done in time and I had them ready for holiday gifts. They were very accommodating to my photo shoot list and understood the photos I wanted. Very happy with how my wedding photos came out! The only thing I wasn't thrilled about was that my sister was telling them different spots to shoot and get more creative... they should have thought of these locations and poses. The ones she took on her iphone were better poses and backgrounds than some of the ones the photographers took. However, I am happy with my photos. Thank you!

pher with a decent price. I called a couple of photographers around the area. Some told me that they couldn't accommodate me on such a short notice (which is understandable). Others gave me a crazy price. Ambar Moreno agreed to do it with this short notice. Price agreed upon was decent. Besides, they were located an hour away from the venue's location, and they still agreed to take the trip without charging me extra for travel expenses! And, instead of having a photographer, I got two photographers for the price of one! They're a husband and wife. Both are professional photographers. They came 45 minutes before the scheduled time to check the venue, decor, and surroundings. They were very nice and communicated with me and my husband every step of the way. The day after the wedding, they sent me a sample of the photos in a smart phone application format where I could download the "app" and see the photos (or show it) at any time on my phone. The photos? They were those photos that you'd only see in wedding and bridal magazines.

The best part about having both of them on our wedding day, was that there would be moments when Ambar would take the lead to create an amazing shot and then Ed would see something else. And there were, of course, moments when they would come together and capture a special photo no one else would have pictured.
