About this vendor
There is something about being part of two people's best day of their lives that pushes me to go farther and be better. I want to make sure I capture your day in the most beautiful way I possibly can. Witnessing the love between two people and knowing that they will look back on the way that I saw their wedding is an amazing thought. I communicate with you throughout your entire planning process. I sit down and create a timeline of the day and a formal family portrait list. I treat every wedding as if it is my own, I put myself in your place and think about what I would want. I truly care for you and your special day.

g our picture taken but Amber and her assistant made us feel comfortable and made taking pictures an enjoyable experience. She kept track of the timeline throughout the day keeping us on track and was able to keep organized a very large bridal party. My family and friends all said they enjoyed working with her throughout the day and we have received so many compliments on the pictures! I would highly recommend Amber!!!
We booked Amber for our 10/01/23 wedding in Lake Placid, NY. We know about her through friends of ours that have gotten married and we instantly loved her style of photography. We ...
first got behind the camera with Amber during our engagement photos and we knew that we were in good hands for our wedding day. She is friendly, professional, and makes you feel comfortable. Not only that, but we love how she was very organized and set up a day of timeline, which helps an anxious bride feel at ease to know how her day will go. She got our photos back to us so quickly and we are so in love with all the details she captured on our special day! Photographers are one of them most important vendors on your wedding day. I would 100% recommend Amber to family and friends. Thank you so much for re-creating our day! :)

ck to respond to my questions and emails. She created a timeline and portrait list for me to look through before the big day which I loved. The day of the wedding, Amber’s calm and kind presence really helped me feel comfortable and at ease. She was also extremely helpful with assisting the guys with their flowers which was very much appreciated. Amber helped my husband and I feel comfortable every step of the way! My husband hates taking pictures, but Amber made it fun and was very thorough and efficient. The photos we have seen so far are absolutely STUNNING and we can’t wait to see the rest! If anyone is in search of a photographer for their wedding, look no further! I hope to have the opportunity to work with Amber again in the future! :)
Amber has become a family heirloom for us. She photographed our wedding in May of this year, she photographed my brother-in-law’s wedding in 2021, and she photographed his brother-...
in-law’s wedding in 2019 - I hope she photographs another wedding for our family!!! She’s such an amazing person to talk to and work with (so organized and generous with her time as well!!!), and her work honestly speaks for itself. She’s truly an artist and has the most amazing eye; we wanted our wedding to look like a fairytale, and she made that dream a reality!!! Her photos are so timeless and seriously look straight out of a wedding magazine. I’m someone who does not feel comfortable in front of the camera, and she made me feel so relaxed and made posing for pictures feel so effortless. Day of she also kept us on schedule, was a calming presence to be around, and captured all of the important moments so perfectly. Our day was very early in wedding season so we were lucky to get our gallery in a little under 3 weeks and I still can’t believe how many photos there are - and I can honestly say that we love every single one of them!! We will be mooning over them for the rest of our lives - these memories are priceless, and we cannot thank Amber enough for her kindness and incomparable work!!! Her assistant Katie was also so sweet and wonderful and we appreciate her hard work as well!!! Hire Amber and you will not regret it!!! She will also work amazingly with your other vendors - you would think she and our videographer had worked together before, but in reality they had only just met that day. Such a professional and a class act!!
Amber is very talented, easy to work with, and an incredible photographer! If you are looking for natural, romantic, magical, and timeless photos for your wedding day, look no furt...
her. From the very start, Amber was very easy-going, warm, and easy to work with, she made us feel comfortable and just ourselves during the entire process. During the wedding day, Amber was very friendly and got along with all of our wedding parties and families great. She skillfully captured every emotion, every laugh, and every tear of joy, without ever interrupting the natural flow of the day. Her ability to anticipate and capture the most heartfelt moments left us in awe. What truly sets Amber apart is her ability to create breathtaking compositions that reflect the unique personalities and ambiance of the wedding. She captured the essence of our love and the beauty of our surroundings. Her attention to detail and artistic vision resulted in photographs that were nothing short of stunning. It is also worth mentioning that Amber was really there for us to answer all questions and reached out to me and made me feel better when I was worried about the weather on our wedding day. Speaking of the weather, it was misting and we had light rain, and lots of clouds, yet, the photos turned about magical, warm and you can't even tell that the weather conditions weren't perfect. Everyone LOVED the photos that Amber delivered (in under 2 weeks, which is unheard of for most other photographers). To say that we highly recommend this talented and amazing photographer would be an understatement. Amber has a gift for capturing the essence of love, joy, and celebration. Her artistry and professionalism made our wedding day even more magical, and we are forever grateful for the stunning memories she preserved for us. THANK YOU!
I cannot say enough good things about Amber! From my first conversation with her, I knew that she was someone I could really vibe with and would enjoy spending time with to capture...
my special day (you spend a lot of time with your photographer!). Amber (and her team!) is very professional and organized - more so than most other vendors I have encountered, which was very appreciated. Throughout the planning process, she was very easy to communicate and share ideas with - and doing so always left me feeling calm and assured. Amber was truly my advocate and ensured that we had a wonderful day with beautiful photos. She provided the teaser photos quickly and ultimately delivered the digital files in a beautiful wooden photographed box and USB. Even though it is months later, I look forward to working with her to put together our wedding album too!
Amber was easily the glue that kept our wedding day together! She had an organized timeline for us at least a month before the wedding which really helped us plan out our day. She ...
was extremely professional and very timely with responses. As someone who is not the best at planning an event, Amber really talked me through the day and made sure everything was perfect. We got our previews of our wedding photos extremely quick and are IN LOVE with them! Amber captured our day perfectly. I cannot say enough great things about Amber. Our family and friends loved her and so did we! Selecting a photographer to capture the biggest day of your life is not an easy task. I am beyond thrilled that we chose Amber.
There are literally no words to describe working with Amber! She is just the best. From going over the whole wedding timeline with me multiple times, to capturing every single part...
of the day perfectly, and even her assistant running around with me all day to make sure everyone I needed (like a bridesmaid to bustle me or one to take out my veil) was right there at the exact right time. I even accidentally forgot to tell Amber a surprise we had planned for our ceremony and she *still* captured every literal second of the moment. Neither my husband nor I are all that comfortable with attention or photos, but she made it so fast, so seamless, so comfortable, and we have literally hundreds of new favorite photos now. She knows just how to bring out the best in the people she photographs. She made the whole experience so special and I am so thankful for her to have been a part of it! I’d give her a hundred stars if I could. ⭐️
She captured every special moment of our wedding and more! I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and she helped make that happen. I highly recommend hiring Amber for any and...

g vendor I hired. Amber is kind, accommodating, professional and talented. She captured our most important and special day. We received our photos just a few days later. Our friends and family love them as much as we do. Thank you, Amber!
Amber was amazing to work with from the initial meeting to the day of she was very communicative and open, working with us on different timelines for the day of to ensure she gets ...
all the photo combos you and your fiancé want as a priority, she has such a sense of calmness when working with her which it makes it much easier for you and your fiancé(future hubby) to work with.

ding plan. I found Amber through some online search and after two phone calls and a video face chat, leading up to the big day; Amber really put my nerves at ease.
I have looked at thousands of instagram wedding photos of what I like and don't like and only had one really must have picture; which was a beautiful sunset photo and Amber captured it perfectly. Amber and her assistant arrived bright and early on my wedding day! Amber was very professional. We got through all the family photos and drama all the must have couple candid shots. I even lost my neckalace that my mother had gifted me on my wedding day! Amber looked through all the photos and found when exactly It had been missing. All in all we LOVED having Amber capture our big day! We hope to grow our family and visit her and have her capture some family photos in the near future!
Hiring Amber as our photographer was one of the best wedding decisions we made. She was personable, professional, and took SO MANY amazing photos! Everyone was impressed with her a...
nd her work.
From the time we met up with Amber to discuss the potential of her being our wedding photographer, I had full faith in her and her artistic abilities. She brought beautiful work to show us, walked us through all of our options, and was so friendly and not salesy at all! We booked her right away.
Leading up to the wedding, Amber did check-ins and helped us to outline all of the photographs that were most important to us on our big day so she wouldn't miss a shot. She's perfected this! She was able to capture everything that we wanted and we never look at our photos thinking "we really wish we had a picture of ____." That's a regret you can't get back and I am so happy we will never need to feel that way!
On the day of the wedding, Amber was more like part of the family than a vendor. We hadn't seen her in over a year, but she just has this effortless charisma about her and her confidence made me so comfortable in her ability to get the job done! She was a cheerleader when she needed to be and invisible when she needed to just hang back and capture the moment.
After our wedding, Amber posted several shots THE NEXT DAY, which gave me something to hold me and my family over and made us all even more excited to see the rest. I would recommend Amber Bauhoff Photography hands down! I wish she could be everyone's wedding photographer and make every bride feel as beautiful as I did on that day and every time I look at our photos.
We lucked out having Amber as our wedding photographer! My husband and I live across the country in WA state but we got married in MA where I grew up. Not meeting a photographer in...
person, made me a little nervous at first, but Amber quickly made any fears I may have had vanish. She was so accommodating with our time, video chatting for us to meet and talk about what we wanted for our wedding and photos, across different time zones.
When we met her in person on our wedding day, she seamlessly fell into step, helping us find the perfect locations for photos, and making everything feel easy and fun. We were completely at ease, which is saying something for the day of.
Our photos turned out AMAZING, more than we could have ever asked for. She sent us some early sneak peak photos we enjoyed while on our honeymoon, and her turn around time for the rest of our photos felt very quick. We will cherish these photos and memories forever. Cannot recommend Amber more - you can't go wrong!

osing a tricky off-site location for photos, and she was so wonderful in accommodating our requests. Even though it started to rain, I cannot explain how amazing the photos turned out. She has a way of making you feel absolutely at ease in front of the camera. She captured every special (and hilarious) moment throughout our night. We’re still having a hard time narrowing down some for our wedding album; there are so so many great shots!! Highly recommended! You will NOT be disappointed

0/2019 . From the moment we located Amber to our special day she made every experience amazing and stress free . She was very prompt , professional and helpful throughout the planning. Amber made sure she went over all our wants and needs and made sure every one of them were successfully met . She made sure our day was everything we’d imagined . As we look back through our photos she did a awesome job capturing every important moment and even some we didn’t think of . She was very flexible and was willing to meet and go over things at our connivence and as many times as we needed . We also had Amber do our engagement photos and again I can’t even begin to explain how happy we are with them . She was so patient with us . We are so grateful we found Amber at just the right time . We have since hired her for all our important family photos and plan to agin for our maternity photos in the next couple months . We wish we found her a little sooner . A picture is worth a million words and not just anyone can capture them as good as Amber . ❤️

er family. We were so happy with the quality of our photos and she is very reasonably priced. I actually did not even meet her until the big day! Communicating over the phone and email was easy and effective. Would recommend and use again!

known her for years! She captured photos in the moment and didn't make us do crazy poses, she kept staging to a minimum which is exactly what we asked for. The teasers the day after the wedding had all of my guests asking for her contact information! The photo gallery had a very quick turn-around and all of the photos came out stunning. I highly recommend Amber for any of your photography needs!

oughout the whole wedding process. She has the perfect mix of professionalism and sass, and was so fun to work with. She is clearly a pro and doesn't need to waste time taking 100 shots to get the perfect one. We got teaser photos the morning after our wedding and they are even more amazing than we expected. Amber made us look like we might have a chance at professional modeling in another life, and we're pretty awkward people ;) I can't wait to get the rest of our photos. Thank you again for everything, Amber! I'm sad that the wedding is over and I won't get to work with you any more, but I'll definitely look you up next time I need photos of anything!
We had Amber as our wedding photographer in September and she was absolutely amazing. Throughout our entire planning process, from meeting her to the end of our reception, she was ...
very calm and relaxed which was exactly what we needed. She did a wonderful job giving us guidance during our first look, even when we were feeling super awkward in front of the camera. We just got our photos back a couple weeks ago, and every one of them is perfect. I had initially told her that my (now) husband wasn't photogenic, and he was the shining star of every photo! We could not be any happier with how everything turned out and would recommend Amber for anything involving her photography! Thank you so much, Amber!

he shot list, and we got every single picture that we hoped for. But the best part about working with Amber is her talent! Her photos are incredible and completely capture the loving and joyous feel of the day. During the ceremony and reception, she captured every single moment without us even noticing! She also made sure to pull us away for some quiet moments together, and so that she could capture the sunset, which are some of our favorite photos. I can't say enough about how wonderful she is and how thrilled we are with her work. Thank you SO much, Amber!! xoxo
Amber was referred to us by one of my coworkers. From the first meeting with Amber we knew she was our person. She was super friendly, professional and also friendly to our budget....
She was able to capture every intimate moment that we could have asked for. We would recommend her to anyone in need of a photographer.
Amber was an incredibly sweet, attentive and flexible photographer to work with. From our first phone call, we felt right at ease. She listened to everything we wanted, made a few...
professional suggestions (that were SO helpful!), and worked with us until we felt comfortable and confident a game plan for the big day.
One of our initial concerns was having a photographer who might be pushy or interfering with intimate ceremony moments (for both ourselves and our guests). Amber listened to us and worked her magic with a long lens. She even sweetly stayed an extra 10 minutes at the end of her shift because we were hoped she could capture people dancing to a certain song. We truly appreciated her services and recommend her for any couple getting married.
Oh! She also created leather-bound wedding albums for us afterwards (an extra charge, but one that we budgeted for as gifts for our parents and and extra one for ourselves). We are all grateful for everything she'd done for us. She really captured some magical moments. Thanks a million, Amber!

me less in love with the idea of a traditional wedding but still crazy in love with Amber’s work. We ultimately decided to elope, but I still had to have photos to commemorate the best day of my life. Amber was amazing and rolled right along with our changing plans!! And we didn’t exactly make it easy for her. We got married at a hilly conservation area, had our dogs in the photos, and got married at a time with high(ish) sun. But she handled it all like it was just another day and delivered an amazing product! She captured the day perfectly and made sure we had fun in the process. She is very professional, accommodating, and super down to earth! She also finished editing way faster than I ever expected. I would book her again a million times over!!

a great job, was fun to work with and I cannot say enough how awesome her work truly is. She got every fantastic shot and never once was in the way for guests. She's not cheap, but she's worth every penny. Do yourself a favor and book Amber immediately. LOVE LOVE LOVE HER!!
