Amber is a dream to work with. She shot our engagement photos and made us feel so at ease — a tall task given that my fiancé and I don’t love having our pictures taken. Communication from vendors is very important to me, and Amber was thorough from the very beginning — providing advice, answering questions and making sure we were set before and after the shoot. The photos themselves are absolutely stunning. All in all, Amber went above and beyond to make our engagement session something we’ll always remember.
Book Amber as your wedding or elopement photographer. It's as simple as that. She is creative, professional, trustworthy, energetic, knowledgable - honestly I could keep going with descriptors. Amber photographed our Vegas elopement and the experience was better than anything we could have imagined! She made our day so special and fun. She sent so much information to us beforehand - she is truly an expert with regards to All Things Vegas. We will treasure our memories of our day forever, largely in part due to Amber. OH MY GOD. Run, do not walk, and book Amber RIGHT. NOW. I live in Seattle and was getting married in NYC. I was hesitant about booking a photographer based outside of the NYC area, but Amber was better than any photographer I could have found anywhere. She also happened to be in Seattle over the summer before my wedding and carved time out of her personal schedule to take engagement photos.
She was the best hype person, entertainment, and advice-giver on the big day. She provided levity and enjoyment and truly felt like spending time with a good friend. I felt comfortable sharing with her any concerns or hesitations I felt as someone who does not feel the most comfortable in front of the camera.
I was also nervous about booking a photographer due to the fact that there was a wide range of skintones for photography given that my husband and I are a biracial couple. Amber killed it (or as my young sister-in-law says, she "ate" -- whatever that means) and I cannot recommend her enough. If you don't book Amber, you're missing out.
Dominic and I had such a blast shooting our engagement photos with Amber! Her expertise really helped capture the vision we had for our photos in the Arts District. From eyeing up the perfect backdrops to guiding us into various embraces - she truly has a knack for how to capture the love between two people. We LOVE the way they turned out. There is so much versatility and uniqueness to each photo. We are so grateful to have these photos to cherish throughout the years. We are still trying to decide which are our favorites!
Cannot write enough great things about Amber. She was our engagement session photographer and she made our experience so fun! My Fiancé and I were super nervous and camera shy before we started, and Amber made us feel instantly comfortable. She was great at communicating with us prior to booking, she answered every small question I had in a timely manner and even followed up to see if I needed any more info. During our session she made us feel so good about our posing and our photos so we truly enjoyed ourselves. We got every shot we wanted and she went above and beyond to make sure our vision came to life. We just got our photos back and they really are so beautiful and fun!
Amber is a PHENOMENALLY talented photographer and artist. She's the best of the best and I will not be convinced otherwise.
Her photos of our big day are absolutely perfect and she went above and beyond at every chance she could. From little surprise gifts along the way leading up to our big day to post wedding gifts too, she put so much thought and consideration and love into our experience and we just cannot say enough amazing things about her.
Not only did she make us feel special all along the way, but the photos — MY GOODNESS. We are absolutely blown away by every single one of them! The lighting, the angles, the moments! All of them are perfect!

Amber was such an amazing photographer to work with. We had another photographer booked who cancelled the day of our shoot. It is just past Thanksgiving and I wanted to share that I'm really thankful for Amber- My husband and I asked her to do an unusual elopement style photoshoot while crushing a car with a tank at Battlefield Las Vegas. There was a minor mishap with scheduling in the morning and she was so positive and open to resolving it with us. Luckily Battlefield was able to switch a few things around and accommodate us. Amber was prompt, knowledgeable, had all the necessary equipment, and lots of posing ideas and games to get us laughing and smiling for the photos. She sent us a sneak peek of a few photos later that same day, and returned the rest of the photos less than 2 weeks later, earlier than promised. Thank you Amber for capturing such a happy moment for us ❤️
After hunting online through many different options from our home in London, we finally chose Amber to be our photographer and it proved to be the perfect choice for us. The photos and short GIF video she crafted of our day are such beautiful records of our wedding and we will treasure them forever.
She was fun, down-to-earth, easy to work with and so thoughtful throughout the whole day! We chose to get married on a blistering day in Vegas, and she came fully equipped with water bottles, ice packs and even was willing to lug around my sweat towel in her backpack (apologies, Amber). It felt more like exploring downtown Vegas with a friend than a photoshoot and we genuinely had a blast.
We would definitely recommend Amber and we will always be grateful we chose her to document our special day!

Amber is an amazing photographer and also an amazing asset to organizing your elopement. She’s an expert in her field and in Las Vegas. Not only do we rave about her, but our friends and family have all made comments about how wonderful she was on our wedding day. All our photos turned out absolutely beautiful, and we wouldn’t describe ourselves as photogenic so she worked magic. I would recommend her over and over again!!

If we could rate her higher than a 5/5 we would. She is extremely talented, your best hype girl, professional, trustworthy, and I could go on and on. Finding someone you can trust to capture the most important moments of your life can be so scary, but Amber is someone you can trust to not miss a single one of those important moments. On top of all that she is extremely organized- she had an entire list printed out of family shots making it painless and quick for those that are not a fan of photos.
You can also count on her to be so much more than a photographer on your big day. She will help you get ready, do last minute touch ups, help with coordination, and just be there for you.
Lastly, her turn around time is quick and the quality is top notch. Her passion for photography really shows in her work and she will make your day even more magical. We love Amber and I will forever recommend her for all your photography needs!

If you are looking for a photographer that will hype you up leading up to your wedding, make you feel relaxed and comfortable day-of, tell it like it is, and capture truly stunning shots, look no further than Amber. After working with Amber before we got engaged, we knew that there was no other option for a wedding photographer. Amber is absolutely one of a kind. She makes everyone feel comfortable and takes amazing candid shots that truly capture the emotion of the day. She also has great ideas and vision for formal portraits - our couple shots are incredible, and she was absolutely game for my idea for a photo once we got to our couple formal photo location and I saw something I liked. For family photos, she captures everything you want in a fast and FUN way - my family commented that these were the most efficient and fun portraits they have ever taken at a wedding. We were doing bridal party and family shots right as it was about to start raining, and Amber got everything done JUST in time. She also makes sure that you get sneak peeks right away - we got them while we were still at the after party! We can't wait to see our full album, though Amber has already posted some photos on her blog and I know we are 100% so thrilled. We are lucky to call Amber both our photographer and our friend. I cannot even begin to express how genuinely amazing Amber is and how wonderful of a process it has been to work with her. She is professional yet so very easy to befriend, responsive, and remarkably talented. If you want the most incredible photos of your wedding day, then Amber is your girl. We had worked with her at a friend’s wedding and instantly knew we wanted her to photograph our wedding once we got engaged. She was the first vendor that we booked! Since we had already worked with her for our engagement photos, when our wedding day rolled around, we were at complete ease in front of her camera. We are absolutely in love with our wedding photos. Amber has the ability to capture the most amazing moments so that you can always remember the best parts of your day. Working with Amber is like hanging out with a friend and Amber really is a friend to all of her clients. She was so helpful throughout our entire planning process to ensure that we were able to capture all of the things that were important to us during our wedding day. After delivery of our final gallery, she also worked with us to create an amazing album. The album sits in our living room, and we look at it all the time. Her photos are also, literally all over our house. All of our family and friends loved our photos as well and still can’t quit talking about them, in a good way, even months later. We are 1000% happy with our decision to work with Amber and hopefully will find an event to work with her again in the future. We cannot say enough good things!

Amber shot our wedding while working under the umbrella of the photographer we originally hired. Our photographer was booked already for another wedding that same day so she said Amber would be covering our day. At first I was nervous, I wont lie but I have to say that everything worked out better than imagined
Amber was SO MUCH FUN. She kept everyone laughing, comfortable, and relaxed. She wrangled difficult family members, explained what we were doing every step of the way and even fed me my drink in between shots! haha

Where do I even begin?! Choosing Amber as our wedding photographer was about the best decision we made in the whole planning process. If you're in the thick of wedding planning, you know how many decisions that is. Amber created a breathtaking array of images to memorialize everything from the big to the small. She is a true artist and really understands what will create a beautiful photo (subject, pose, lighting, background, editing, etc.). Unlike many other portrait photos I've seen, her photos are beautiful and sweet without being cheesy, which is always what I'm afraid of with photo sessions.
Amber's turn around time for our digital gallery was incredibly fast, without sacrificing quality or our satisfaction, and she was both extremely professional and fun! When I booked her I had no idea I was getting a photographer, a Uber driver, a wedding coordinator, a personal advisor, and also a friend! Even before we flew to Vegas for our wedding, she made it a point to let us know she was thinking about us by sending us a personalized Christmas ornament, and mailing over her wedding guide book. She went above and beyond and it felt like she truly cared and that is a feeling I will never forget! We LOVED her! and for that, I will forever recommend her.
10'S, 10'S ACROSS THE BOARD.
From start to finish, I cannot say enough about how awesome working with Amber was. I will, for the sake of a helpful review, certainly try. Booking a photographer for your wedding is one of the most important decisions- they document the day. Booking the RIGHT one? Solid Gold.
From the initial inquiry, Amber was super responsive. I knew how I wanted my photos to "feel". She showed me some of her recent galleries to see if my wishes met up with her style, and wow- I cried. My friends cried. I knew she was the one.
From the deposit process, to the reminders, to the questionnaire to make sure all the photos we wanted would be captured, I knew I could take "getting the perfect picture to remind me how the day felt" off my list of worries.
On the day? wow. What's bigger than wow? Our group has a lot of inside jokes, and she managed to capture them all. The emotions, the love, the laughter- she caught it all. My day was windy with the chance of a full blown squall happening right before the ceremony. She was incredible weighing pros and cons with me, making sure I would get what I wanted from the day.
When I received the images I cried so many happy tears. Moments I didn't even know I would want were captured beautifully, and told our story perfectly. For someone I had not met in person until the wedding day, she made me feel instantly comfortable, at ease, and like she was a part of our jokes, laughter, and happy happy tears.
Asking Amber to photograph our big day was the best decision I ever made. I almost feel honored she was apart of it that is how awesome she is. Amber opened my eyes a new way towards photographers. When booking all you think of is the quality of the image itself, and her quality is 7/5 stars. But she also just captures images from your day that are so breathtaking and beautiful in a way that hits your heart and makes you hold on to that image forever. Her character as well is the perfect type for someone you need on such a never racking day. She'll make you almost forget what is going down because running around with her feels like hanging out with friends and you have so so much fun. I cannot wait to invite her to travel and take more pictures of so many exciting things in life.
We cannot rave enough about Amber!! Her talent, professionalism, and hard work all came together to make our wedding day so magical. To start, our photos are absolutely GORGEOUS. People comment all the time about how beautiful they are. We love them. But Amber is more than just a great photographer -- she's also super well-organized and so committed to her clients. She went above and beyond in so many ways (literally even sent us a Christmas ornament after our engagement shoot with her and a little wooden box with a flash drive of our photos post-wedding). She made us feel comfortable and cared-for, both before and on our wedding day. Honestly I can't recommend her enough. Amber is fantastic!!
Amber is a fantastic photographer and I highly recommend her! She created a video of our wedding day for us (we were one of the Corona couples that had to reschedule our wedding, but we decided to elope before everything was closed). She was so great and easy to work with and we were happy to have her there. Even thought it was our first day meeting her, she made us comfortable and captured our personalities and memories. We can’t wait to share the video with our friends and families so they can remember the day like we did.
Okay, so I'll add more after our wedding but Amber is AMAZING. She has been so incredibly helpful with the wedding planning so far and she created the timeline so I didn't have to worry about it. She's super easy to talk to and appreciates the little things you want to photograph.

I knew after our first phone call with Amber that she had to be the one to take our photos on our wedding day. Her personality is as awesome as her photos which really helped us be comfortable in front of the camera. She has been so easy to work with, so glad we found her!
Honestly, Our session with Amber was the most fun I’ve ever had getting pictures taken! She’s so genuine that it feels like you’re just hanging out with a friend (and also left me wanting to be her BFF in real life). Our pictures turned out better than I could have expected! She captured our love so well and even more importantly captured the fun we have as a couple. I will cherish these photos forever.
I cannot imagine a better photographer. As a journalist, I care more about high-quality candid moments than portraits, but Amber does both FLAWLESSLY. With fewer than 20 ceremony guests, my groom and I were a bit nervous about letting in a "stranger," but Amber was a fast friend. During all stages of the process -- the initial phone call, the face-to-face and the main event -- Amber made us feel comfortable, and she trusted us to curate the day exactly the way we envisioned it. She encouraged all of our wacky ideas, including my plan to have each of our friends involved in our unity ceremony (which Amber handled perfectly, running in a big circle to get every face). She even helped tie my bow and Cody's tie. She works fast, she's fun to spend the day with, and she delivered hundreds of gorgeous photos that I will never stop boasting about. I wouldn't change a single thing about my wedding day, but if I somehow had to do it all again only keeping one aspect, we would definitely keep Amber Garrett Photography.
Amber did a fantastic job on our engagement and wedding photos. It was a pleasure to work with her from start to finish. She had everything planned out and works to accommodate your needs. She made you feel very comfortable and at ease when taking pictures. Amber captures all the little details and moments. She had a quick turnaround on editing pictures and sends you back a ton. Oh my goodness! Amber is the best photographer I’ve ever met! My husband isn’t the easiest to photograph, because ugh, men! I also wasn’t sure what specific poses to do, or how to stand, but Amber, came in and knew exactly what to do! She made me and my husband feel very comfortable! She even had a couple of jokes for my husband to get him to smile! Amber was able to get amazing photos of us that I’ll cherish forever! Cannot thank her enough! Amber is not only an excellent photographer, but her easy going and fun personality made it so much easier for me to take a chill pill. I was putting way too much pressure on outfit choice and hair, etc. because photos are forever (and tbh, I've put on weight in grad school, and I'm not always super confident about my body). When I reached out to Amber about this stress, she was super supportive, pointed me to her big day bible for extra tips, and reminded me of the importance of taking phots that really represent us as a couple. And that was all before we even met her and posed for her! Once we did meet her, I was happier than ever with our choice to have her photograph us. I was way less self-conscious than I expected because she really knows how to ease the process (e.g., my fiance and I are super silly people, and she was super down and got silly with us too). It didn't feel like some rando taking our photos, it felt like a friend taking our photos. :D Oh, and our photos are freaking amazing, so there's also that!
Amber was easy to communicate with, professional, and incredibly kind! On top of producing incredible photos, she made our day so special by being so excited for us! Given that we decided to elope, my now husband and I knew our choices for photographer and officiant would be important since they would be the only other people present when we said our vows. Amber was the perfect balance of present while I was getting ready, keeping me calm and laughing, and then doing her thing behind the scenes while we were saying our vows. I didn’t realize until afterward how I didn’t even notice her during our little ceremony but she managed to move around and get incredible shots from all angles without being distracting. It truly felt like just my husband and I out there in Red Rock.
She also managed to think quickly on her feet when we got to Red Rock later than planned and the lighting was low. Like a true professional, she pulled her car up (a little off road might I add) and used her headlights as our light source. The pictures came out so unique!
Amber acted as so much more than a photographer for my elopement. My only complaint is that she lives across the country from me! My husband and I have already told her we’re ever on the same coast again, we hope to hire her for more photos.
Where do I even start? Amber has been amazing from the beginning. When we first met, she treated us with amazing wine. Amber is more then a photographer she is a mentor, day of coordinator, helps with suggestions, gives you tons of advice, and even is there to be your counselor. Just when you double think about your self image, she makes you feel confident and is truly talented. She became our best friend and fell in love with her funny, quirky personality. She even agreed to take shots of tequila at our engagement session and at our wedding. I low key can get married over and over again, and miss working with her. When Cody and I were looking for a photographer, we were super picky and could not settle. You truly get what you pay for. She is very creative and passionate about her work. One reason why we picked her over other photographers is how vibrant and out of the box poses she makes her clients do. All in all we love her editing. Working with Amber was so easy! The forecast in the days leading up to our session was not looking great. Amber came to us with options, she was so flexible and willing to make it work no matter what! The weather turned out to be perfect and she created amazing pictures for our engagement session.
