We had met with a few photographers that were within our budget and thought we had found the one we wanted... that was before we met with Amber at a coffee shop. She is outgoing and easy to chat with and be around, which are musts for blending in at a wedding. But, what ultimately sold us was her and her assistant's (her husband) work. To help us better understand her style and showcase her talent, Amber sent us a link to view an entire gallery from a wedding she recently shot. The quality of her photos won us over almost instantly! We also appreciated the fact she had an assistant (horray for getting photos of both the bride and groom getting ready at different locations), and that her husband is her assistant, instead of her having someone she only occasionally works with to be her assistant. They make a great team! Shortly after booking with Amber, we had a mini engagement photo shoot, which my husband and I chose to have on the U of I campus. We had a few personal spots picked out, including the apartment building we met and highlights from our first date, making the experience very special and unique. During the session, Amber helped with cueing, but also allowed us to be our natural selves. The results were FANTASTIC, and we couldn't wait to see what she would do at our wedding. Fast forward some months and important e-mails, it's the day of the wedding. Amber and Craig arrive according to schedule and proceed to perfectly capture the biggest day (so far) of our lives. They were a blast to be with and had excellent photo ideas that coincided with our personalities! When the big day was done, I could not wait to see our photos. Luckily, Amber posted a few sneak peeks, and they BLEW US AWAY! I literally had chills. A little while later, she sent us the link to our gallery, which was absolutely gorgeous, and we picked out photos for our album. We had the hardest time narrowing down the number of photos to a reasonable amount, because there were SO many stunning ones to choose from. After hard work and help from Amber, our album was able to be made (by Amber of course). The album is perfect! It is sophisticated and made of quality material that will last. Overall, my husband and I (and our family and friends) are beyond grateful to have met and worked with Amber for our special day. We recommend her to EVERYONE who wants breath-taking photographs of their wedding and easy-to-work-with photographers. 100,000,000/5 stars!!
