GO SEE JANELLE! Just trust me, she is the very best! Her communication and responsiveness leading up to your appointment is perfect, she gets a full understanding of what you might be interested in (along with your rough sizing info so you know 100% there will be multiple dresses for you to try on!), your budget, and is genuinely excited for you to walk through her door even before you’ve met! She was so kind and welcoming to myself and my family members. She had TONS of dresses already waiting for me in my size and they were exactly what I was looking for. Truly, she was spot on with every single option. She made me feel comfortable, confident, and honestly beautiful (which isn’t easy when you’re surrounded by mirrors from every angle!) but she did it! She was so upbeat and positive and will absolutely give you her honest opinion if you ask for it. Her process is just so unique and special, this is NOT a typical bridal salon where you go in hoping something will fit and then wait months for it to come in. You get to take your dress that day! I bought both my dress and veil and she even threw in a little gift! I have been reliving my experience with Janelle all weekend. This has been one of the best shopping experiences of my entire life (and I shop A LOT!). Thank you, Janelle! You are such a wonderful person and such a benefit to the Rutland community.

Look no further! I was an apprehensive soon-to-be bride putting off the wedding dress search as long as possible. I was intimidated by the choices, afraid I wouldn’t find something I liked, and even more worried that what I fell in love with wouldn’t fit my budget. My mom was the one who actually reached out to Amber Sprott Boutique, because the weeks were flying by and she knew (like moms do) that I was going to end up cutting things close. Janelle was an absolute joy to work with. She custom-curated a few dresses for me to try in the company of my mom and grandmother. It was the last one of five that took my breath away. (Janelle said she knew it would be that one – her instincts are impeccable!) Even luckier for me, I was the first lucky bride to wear the beautiful gown, designed by Janelle herself! I know it's a cliché to say this, but I truly did feel like a princess on my wedding day. I was absolutely giddy – couldn't help myself from twirling, rustling the skirts, admiring the lace, and trying to savor every detail. It's a shame such a beautiful dress is only meant to be worn once – but perhaps the fleeting nature of the purpose is partly what makes it so special. I happened to find Amber Sprott Boutique on a whim when I began my search for a wedding dress. I was slightly hesitant when I first found it because it's about an hour and a half drive for me. Once I begin exchanging emails with Janelle, I was excited to see what she could find for me. When Janelle explained her process to me, I loved that it was different. I had been to a few dress places before so I sent photos of the dresses that I had liked to Janelle with what I liked or did not like about the dresses. She understood what I was looking for. When I arrived to my appointment, Janelle had dresses set aside for me (in my size) and we began. The first few that I tried on made me nervous because I thought they were a little different than what I had described/wanted. After trying on a handful of dresses, my mom found a dress on the rack that was had been claimed and I ended up trying it on. Well, I ended up loving the dress and it turned out to be the one (and it was a GREAT price). Janelle agreed and was so helpful when I was having a hard time making a decision. I recommend Amber Sprott Boutique to all brides that I talk to because it's a one-of-a-kind experience that everyone should check-out. It was definitely worth the drive!

I wish I could give Janelle & Amber Sprott Boutique 5,000 stars, because five simply do not cut it. As someone who is not particularly 'bridal,' I was very overwhelmed by the process of dress shopping and was absolutely certain I would never try on a gown and know, without a semblance of a doubt, that it was "THE dress." It wasn't until a friend of mine introduced me to Janelle that I started believing that maybe, just maybe, there was something magical about the process of finding the dress you'll wear on one of the most important days of your life. Janelle's passion for her job, her expertise in all things bridal, her unparalleled knowledge of the bridal gown space, and her genuine concern for her clients is unlike anything I have ever experienced. She asks all the right questions (without ever coming across as 'overbearing') and her charisma is quite literally contagious. If you saw the Pinterest board I put together within the first week of my connecting with Janelle, you'd think I was one of "those girls" who grew up planning every detail of this special day. I couldn't help but get excited, because she was that excited for me. Although I had every intention of putting all my eggs in one basket and driving up to VT (from NYC) for my appointment at Amber Sprott, I surprised my mom + future MIL with a Mother's Day "girls day," that included a special stop at a well-known bridal boutique near my hometown. Much to the surprise of everyone, most of all myself, I ended up finding "THE dress" - which could not have been less of my intention. I immediately reached out to Janelle with pictures / to get her input- despite the fact that this was from an entirely different store and she had TEN gowns waiting for me- and her reaction was absolutely priceless: "honey, that dress was MADE for you." If that does not show her commitment to what's best for her brides, I really don't know what does. I might not have gotten my dress from Amber Sprott, but I truly attribute so much of my incredible experience [and my 180!] to Janelle. I'll be referring every friend, family, coworker, stranger [the list goes on] to Janelle when it comes time for them to look for their own wedding gown and whether you're someone like me (the least bridal bride on the East Coast ;)) or someone who has dreamed about their wedding day since childhood, I can promise you that you will not regret working with Janelle. She is truly one of a kind and when I look back on the mayhem that is wedding planning - in 5 months or in 50 years - I'll always cherish this experience.

Janelle IS AMAZING! I have always hated dress shopping and I was nervous to shop for my wedding dress because I’m not sample size. Janelle process is unique and finds dresses just for you and in your size and your style. Between Janelle’s bubbly personality and energy (which never stopped through the appointment) and the fact the dresses fit my body, I had sooo much confidence. No clips and extenders needed. I had my say yes to the dress moment and walked out with my wedding dress! That’s right, you get your dress that day! No waiting months! I can’t thank Janelle enough for the support, confidence, and this amazing gown!

WOW. Where do I begin?! Amber Sprott Boutique is THE place for all your gown needs. Janelle is an incredible human, who has built the best boutique ever. From the second you contact her, you feel like the most special person in the world. I had the most incredible time playing dress up and being pampered. If the experience wasn’t enough, she found the PERFECT gown for. She has a way of knowing what will look amazing on you and empowering you to see how beautiful you are. I can’t even imagine going any place else to buy gowns.

If I could give Janelle 10/5 stars I would. Right from the beginning her bubbly personality shines through her emails as she really does try to get to know you and your vision for your big day. The second I walked into her boutique her smile was so infectious that I got really excited about trying on the dresses she selected for me to try on (mind you my first dress shopping experience at a different boutique was terrible. Like I left crying). She put my mind at ease and she was so positive and helpful. With being a bigger girl especially in the bust area she really took on the challenge and she found beautiful choices. My mom, Aunt, and MOH all kept saying after the appointment how wonderful the experience was and honestly I couldn't wipe the goofy smile off my face all day. I would 1000x over recommend Amber Sprott to any Bride in a heart beat ♥

Rutland, Vermont is a history filled town...especially our downtown area. When I came across Amber Sprott Boutique, I knew that I had to make an appointment for my wedding dress. A specialty shop such as this was never heard of in my town. Not knowing what to expect, I went into my appointment with an open mind. I was NOT disappointed!!! The gorgeous selection of personally picked gowns was second only to the owner, Janelle. She made me feel like I was the most beautiful soon-to-be bride, and always had a smile on her face. I want to get married over and over again, to my husband of course, just to have the Amber Sprott Boutique experience...and more ah-mazing dresses!

I have been excited and a nervous wreck about my dress. Janelle spent so much time understanding my vision and who I am as a person. She took great care in pulling dresses she thought would be perfect. I ended up choosing a dress she designed. Janelle has figured out a way to design dresses to flatter everyone and make women feel so body confident. In the end it was my comment that sealed the deal, "I want my fiancé to say... wow that's my wife" as I come down the isle that put a spark in Janelle's eyes and a huge smile as she confidently said "oh I have a dress for that!!". This was the absolute best dress shopping experience I have ever had. Not only do you get to play dress up(Wooooo!) But you feel like you are at your best friend's house doing a princess fashion show! Janelle caters to every need, style, request, question...she just knows. The best customer service I have ever experienced. Hands down. I got to work directly with the business owner who hand selected 12 gowns for me to try on for my appointment. She explained during the booking process how she offers bridal in a different way from other stores and I was a bit nervous at first but quickly found the process to be easy and comforting. We talked almost daily before my appointment and she continued to calm my fears. I was traveling from Boston just to work with her based on reviews. She brings in brand new gowns for each brides appointment in the size, styles and budget you choose. If you find one you love it goes home same day so you don’t have to stress shipping with covid shut downs still happening. This was huge to me as I have a friend who’s gown DIDNT arrive in time. I had 7 I really loved and narrowed it down to two before selecting the one I loved the most. I highly recommend shopping here for a personalized and VIP experience. I felt like one of her friends when it was all said and done and I got the most beautiful gown for a great price. I wish I could do it all again bc I enjoyed it so much. Thx again

Janelle is absolutely AMAZING. She runs such a fabulous boutique. She was able to fit me in and ordered dress that fit the style I was looking for, and I was even able to try on her BRAND NEW dress line! And let me tell you, she is talented. I got my wedding dress here and it was such a wonderful experience I came back to get a reception dress! The prices are very fair and the location is great. I thought I was going to have to go to NY or Burlington (not worth the trip) her shop is much better! She is super sweet and attentive it’s a personal experience tailored to what you want. Communication with her has been very easy. The experience is an A++

If you want very personal, amazing, NOTHING like big box store service you NEED to go to Amber Sprott Boutique. For months before my appt I sent pictures of dresses I loved and chatted with Janelle so that she could help my vision come to life. She personally shops for you and brings dresses into the store that are in your size so that you can leave with a dress the same day! I cannot day enough amazing things about how wonderful my day was!! Do yourself a favor and skip all of those other stores and put all your eggs in the Amber Sprott Boutique basket....I did, and I don’t regret it for a second!

Janelle was so easy to work with from start to finish. I booked on the website and she immediately sent me an email confirming my time and date for appointment. She asked for some inspiration photos, my size and budget and explained she was going to hand select gowns for me to try at my appointment. She closed the entire store for my appointment. It was private, emotional and everything I had dreamed of since I was little. I found my gown in one short hour. It was well under budget and couldn’t be more perfect. Highly recommend working with Janelle, she has a knack for this and she truly loves her brides like family.

Janelle was fantastic! I would give 10 stars if I could. I reached out to her with a small budget and big dreams and she made it happen. She had all of my favorite dress styles ordered and ready to try on in 4 days! All of the dresses were exactly my size and required minimal alterations. I ended up finding the dress of my dreams AND it was under budget. After going to several bridal boutiques in Vermont I can confidently say this is the only one that I would recommend in the area. The owner went out of her way to bring in gowns just for me in my size, and my budget. I was worried I would be pushed into a higher budget but she actually found me the perfect gown well below the budget I gave her to work with. I will tell everyone I know about this boutique. My gown is perfect and I would have paid double anywhere else. You also get a private appointment which was nice. We spent about 1.5 hrs there and her attention was on me the entire time bc of the private appointment. It was worth the trip from NY and will always recommend.

If I could give Janelle and Amber Sprott Boutique 10 stars, I totally would! As a bride on the curvier and petite side, I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to find a dress at a smaller boutique and I would have to settle for David’s Bridal. I also hate the way I look in most clothes and often leave stores disappointed, so I had prepared myself to have a similar experience when it came time to buy my wedding dress. From the time I booked my appointment, Janelle was in regular conversation about what I liked and what I didn’t, and hand selected dresses for me. I took my sister, stepmother, and future MIL with me to my appointment. We were the only ones in the boutique, and I really felt like the focus was solely on me. I fell head over heels for two dresses (one fit me and the other did not), and Janelle was so incredibly patient as I tried them on multiple times to decide which one I liked. Ultimately, I had my heart set on the dress that didn’t fit. The next day, Janelle called around to see if she could get the dress in the next size up. When she realized it wasn’t a possibility, she met me - with the dress - at our local seamstress to see if we could make it work with some alterations. After that appointment, I said yes to a dress that didn’t fit me. BUT ... I had enough trust in Janelle and Jen from Make it Sew to know that if they said it could work, it could work. I just had my final dress fitting and stepped into a dress that fits me 🙌🏻 for the first time. Besides being an amazing business woman, Janelle is a bright, funny, and supportive personality who is serving women of all ages in our community and making them feel their very best on the days that matter most. If I can make one recommendation for brides, it would be to make an appointment with Janelle at Amber Sprott Boutique!

Such an amazing individual experience with Janelle! She knows her dresses and all the attention is on you during your appointment. My mother was unfortunately on a plane when I picked my dress so she even made time to show my mom the dress when she came back. Such an amazing time we had with her. This place was a very personable and intimate experience. Before finding this boutique I had been to multiple large chain stores and it just didn't feel right. I was lucky enough to find this place and was so happy to find the perfect dress I was looking for! Janelle was great and made me feel so special and comfortable. I was the only client in there which was great. There was no pressure to hurry or staff coming and going. It was a great and also affordable! I had an amazing time shopping at this boutique! Janelle is experienced, welcoming, and great at choosing dresses that really fit your style and wedding vision. I went in not sure of what I was looking for in a dress and she gave me so many options and really made the appointment all about finding the right dress. The private booking also makes the atmosphere very comfortable. And on top of all that, the prices are spectacular! Highly, highly, recommend to everyone.

I have zero regrets about shopping for my gown at Amber Sprott and cannot recommend them enough. The personalized attention begins before the appointment with Janelle, the owner, making sure she knew my approximate size and likes and dislikes so that the store was stocked with handpicked gowns the day of my appointment. It carried all the easy through as appointments are private and close out the whole store. There were chocolates and mimosas on hand and I instantly felt like Janelle was an old friend. I had less trouble finding a gown and more trouble deciding because everything was so stunning and affordable, but Momma's tears sealed the deal. Was able to purchase the perfect veil too. Cannot recommend her enough.

Janelle went above and beyond anything I expected when I went to look for my wedding dress. I knew I wanted to buy local, and I had met her at a bridal expo and knew from that day I wanted to find my dress as her shop. When I was ready to start wedding dress shopping, I emailed her and she got back to me SO quickly and was so obviously excited to work with me. I was able to send her pictures of what I was looking for, and she said she would look for stuff for me. When the appointment day came, she was so joyful and excited about every dress. She told me she had a dress specifically brought in for me in hopes that it fit all my needs, but she wouldn’t tell me which one it was in the bunch she picked out for me! She said she wanted to work up to it ;-) I tried on all sorts of different styles of beautiful dresses, and then she handed me one and I knew right away it was the one she got for me, and I was in love with it before I even got it on. Not only did it fit like a glove the very first time I put it on, but it met and exceeded all my expectations and wishes. One hour and 6 dresses later, I found THE DRESS! I couldn’t believe my very first dress appointment that I had the one. She read my style and knew exactly what to get, and was able to stay within my budget. I cant recommended Janelle and Amber Sprott Boutique enough, I think small boutiques like hers are so special and I feel so blessed to have worked with her. THANK YOU JANELLE!

Amber Sprott Boutique was the perfect bridal salon I wasn't aware that I needed. Janelle has a passion like no other to make every bride's day worth remembering. On a rainy day in Vermont, my mother, sisters, and I were just beginning to search for a dress when we stumbled upon this boutique. Little did I know, I would come out with the most beautiful dress and even better, a wonderful experience finding that dress. I loved the attention to detail that Janelle had before I even arrived. She took the time to see what kinds of dresses I was interested. I loved that it was about my mom, sister and I in the shop. The dress... wasnt one I would have picked out and yet it was perfect. Janelle was so helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable with her information and business. Janelle was so so so soooo helpful and knowledgeable and polite and just made it an all around amazing experience. She took the time to get to know me, my wedding theme, and my style. She would look for dresses specifically geared towards me and sent me pictures for what my opinion. She just took all of the extra shops that made finding a dress easy, stress-free, and fun!

Amber Sprott Boutique is by far the absolute best bridal store out there. The owner was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable . I shopped at 4 other stores before I found Amber Sprott Boutique and the salespeople were always pushing for a sale which made me feel rushed and uncomfortable. At Amber Sprott Boutique, I felt like I was with a personal friend. The store is absolutely beautiful and bright to the huge dressing room and comfortable couch in the seating area where your guests can sit. The selection was wonderful! The prices couldn't be beat. I purchased my gown from Amber Sprott Boutique and cannot wait for my day to wear it. I cant seem to say enough about this amazing Boutique and the more amazing owner!
