I can honestly not recommend Amber enough! I am so glad we were able to have her document our wedding day. Looking through her past work, I knew she would be a good fit for our small and intimate celebration, but after seeing the full gallery of our pictures, I was completely blown away! Looking through our pictures, I feel like I am reliving our wedding day. Amber made sure to capture every aspect of the day and there is such a perfect mix of candids and stunning portraits. She is also the absolute sweetest! You can just tell that Amber loves her job and it clearly imparts into her work. We had not met until the day of, but she was so warm and friendly, we instantly felt at ease with her. Amber was also so flexible and accommodating with rescheduling from our initial wedding date due to the pandemic, too. Hiring Amber to document our day was one of the best decisions we made!

Amber is absolutely amazing! She did our engagement pictures and wedding and both turned out better than we could have ever imagined. She has excellent attention to detail and listened to everything we wanted. I provided her with a list of pictures I wanted for our wedding and she did all of them and more! Anytime we had any questions, she would respond so quickly which was appreciated since we had a destination wedding. I cannot say enough great things about Amber. You can tell she loves what she does and will definitely tell your love story. You will not find anyone better than Amber!

I am so incredibly grateful that my fiance and I were able to have Amber shoot our engagement photos. We were incredibly nervous, as we're not fans of getting our pictures taken or too much attention, but Amber made all of our nerves go away. At the end of the shoot, we realized we had just had SO MUCH FUN! On top of the experience itself the photos we got back made us emotional and so happy. The shots were beautiful and truly showed our great love! We'll cherish these photos forever. Thank you, Amber!

I CANNOT recommend Amber ENOUGH! Amber shot our wedding in June 2018 and I still find myself flipping through our photos, constantly! She made my husband and I feel so comfortable, it felt like we’ve known her forever. She captured the true spirit of our wedding day and reception. Since our wedding, my grandmother has since passed and Amber’s photos of my grandmother bring back such sweet, happy memories. The smiles she captured are truly priceless. Not to mention, she’s incredibly responsive and has an open line of communication; every bride’s dream. Thank you Amber + Team for perfectly capturing our wedding day.

Amber was the best vendor we hired for our wedding! I am so glad we went with her for photography. Her style is gorgeous, very natural and she really knows how to capture the moment and all of the emotions in it. She is so sweet and easy to work with, we had so much fun doing our engagement shoot with her (even in the August heat in Austin), and it was such a joy having her around on our wedding day. We couldn't have been happier with the way our photos turned out. The colors are so rich, I absolutely love her editing style. All of our family & friends were raving about the photos as well - someone commented that it was the best wedding album they have ever seen (and I agree)!! At first I was hesitant to spend so much on photography (we were trying to stick within a specific budget), but she is worth every penny. I truly can't say enough good things about Amber. Photography was one of the my important things to me when thinking about our wedding budget, and Amber was the first vendor we hired. I was immediately drawn to her documentary style, and the candid moments I could see from her Instagram photos. She is obviously extremely talented and seemed to catch all of the beautiful, quiet moments I was hoping to capture at our wedding -- not the staged, sparkly group shots I see in so many wedding albums. But just as important as her talent, I felt that Amber was 100% the right choice for our wedding upon meeting her in person -- she was so sweet and so normal, softspoken, easy to talk to, and made me feel very at ease. It just felt like the right fit. And she loves dogs! Amber proved to us exactly how wonderful she is when she moved her schedule around to accommodate an emergency engagement photo shoot after we learned that my old hound dog had to be put to sleep. She met us the night before we said goodbye to our dog and was able to capture the most wonderful engagement shots including our dog -- and she even helped us smile and enjoy the evening, under such bittersweet circumstances. I will forever cherish those photos - they are beautiful. As for our wedding photos, we just received the album and I truly could not be happier. A few of my friends have said they are the most beautiful wedding photos they have ever seen, and I couldn't agree more. I can't stop looking at them! I've already recommended Amber to everyone I know who is looking for a wedding photographer, and will continue to do so. She's the best!

Amber was the first vendor I hired for my wedding. I grew up shooting film photography. I wanted to pursue it as a career and I have always looked up to amazingly talented photographers. The minute I saw her work I knew she was the only photographer I wanted for this special day. Her eye is impecable. Her style is nothing short of amazing because of the candid approach she invokes into her work. With no effort she captures the feeling of the day. My mother said to me when she saw a snippet of the photos "Omg. What a wonderful depiction of the wedding. Makes me want to cry." We were blown away when we saw a preview of the final photos (and I cannot wait to see them all). But I wasn't surprised, because she has some serious talent. The most important investment of your wedding day should be the photographer you choose. And without a doubt, it should be Amber Vickery. ps. I had to write this review so soon because we are soo thrilled.

I researched countless photographers for our wedding day in Austin and luckily found Amber through recommendation of other vendors. She is so talented. From the bridal portraits, to engagement photos, to our wedding photos, we could not have been happier. In addition to her photos being aesthetically beautiful, she has a way of capturing the most special moments. We had a difficult time choosing our favorites from each shoot. When shooting with Amber she always made us feel so comfortable. She was also wonderful to work with on the administration side of things. She was excellent about contacting us and answering all our questions. All our photos were prompt if not early. We received our wedding photos in a beautiful wooden box with a wooden Zip drive. Amber also sent us a gorgeous leather bound photo album of our favorite wedding photos that I will cherish forever. There were supposed to be big storms on our (outdoor) wedding day but it was a big stress reliever knowing I didn't have to worry about the photos because I was so confident in Amber's abilities no matter the weather. If you are looking for a photographer for any special occasion, look no further than Amber! I can't say enough good things!

Amber was absolutely wonderful to work with! Before the wedding, she took the time to get to know us and the photography style we desired. She even pulled up some of the images on our wedding day to make sure we caught all of the poses we had envisioned. She was friendly and had a way of making us feel comfortable being photographed. A few weeks before the wedding, we realized we would not have time to travel to the original site for after wedding photos. With this news, Amber took the time to research the perfect location that was close to our venue. This proved how much passion she has for her craft. Our friends constantly comment on how beautiful our photos are and how they truly capture the special moments of our wedding.

Amber was the best part of our wedding! My wife and I understand that the wedding lasts a few hours, but the photos last forever. So we spent a lot of time researching photographers and ended up hiring the best. The photos were perfect and looked like they were ready to go in the next edition of Brides Magazine! She captured the night perfectly. She has a very timeless style to her photography. Its very natural and not over edited with trendy filters you will hate in a few years. She was also a pleasure to work with, and really helped orchestrate the night as we took photos throughout the event. She was very sweet, but took charge in corralling everyone. My friends and family LOVED her and would not stop talking about her after the wedding. If you want the best - hire Amber!

Amber, captured our special day so perfectly! She captured moments as we remember them and captured ones we didn't get to experience... and it feels like we were in those moments too! She is incredibly talented, and we feel so grateful to have met and worked with her...such a beautiful person inside and out and a lovely artist! Amber was the best! She made us feel super comfortable and I believe she caught some great shots of us just being "us". She was very friendly, great with giving directions, and has a great eye for style! She was also timely, able to work within my budget, and organized. I am beyond excited to get the pictures back, I know they will be amazing!

If I could, I would shout Amber's name from the rooftops! My husband and I are both in the design / photography industry. As such we are big time snobs when it comes to photography, and gorgeous wedding photos was TOP priority for us. Amber's work went above and beyond our expectations! The quality is absolutely stunning. And if that weren't enough, she was a dream to work with! She was responsive and organized leading up to the event. On the day-of she was very skilled at making us feel comfortable during portraits, and also wrangling our crazy family, all with a big sweet smile on her face. She brought an assistant with her, and they seemed to make a great team. I cannot recommend this lovely lady more highly!

I first saw Amber's work after she did a photo shoot for my sister's family. Then my mom hired her to do a photo shoot with the whole family. When Chris and I got engaged and decided to get married out at Big Bend National Park, I initially started looking for someone in the area. I didn't think there was any chance someone from Austin would make the trip to such a remote location. I loved Amber's photos and her style, so I decided to try. I knew she would be the best choice based on what we were wanting. When we first met with Amber, and told her where the wedding would be, she was just as excited about it as we were. As the big day approached, I became nervous about our wedding photos looking posed because I'm not very comfortable in front of the camera. Amber did an amazing job making us all feel comfortable and giving direction to help get the best pictures without being 'posed'. I could not have asked for a better photographer. I plan to use Amber for all my professional photographer needs!

Amber is not only a very talented and professional photographer, she's great at making people feel at ease and working with groups of all ages. All of this is evident in the finished product. I would recommend her to anyone in the market for a top-tier shooter, and would hire her again without hesitation. She really felt like one of the guests (in the best way), and her ability to blend in with the party, the ceremony, and the scene as a whole allowed her get some really great candid shots. 5 stars, no question!

We totally lucked out finding Amber for our big day. She is sweet and quirky and really made us feel like we had known her a long time. We were very comfortable being our silly selves in front of her! She was on schedule (which kept US on schedule) and even through the heat of the day, she had a smile on her face and just seemed to really LOVE her work. I can not recommend her enough! You will not be sorry! She's got so much talent.
