In light of hearing some horror stories about switched diamonds at some chain stores, we wanted to find a more local, family-owned store to purchase our rings from. That search led...
us to Amber's. We had overall great service except in one case where we were told the incorrect price...thus leading to some sticker shock. But, Amber was gracious and made arrangements to help us out. In the end, we purchased my engagement ring and wedding band (both somewhat custom pieces); melted down family pieces to create my groom's wedding band; had earrings made from family diamonds; resized a ring that was my grandmother's; and had an old 1800s diamond set as a necklace. From start to finish, Amber's offered great, friendly service that we felt we could trust with some pretty old, irreplaceable pieces.
