We had DJ Brian Soto for our wedding reception this June, and he was awesome! One of our biggest priorities was finding a bilingual DJ, and DJ Soto did an amazing job MC'ing in both English and Spanish. It helped all of our guests feel included and kept the energy up throughout the night.
He absolutely nailed the vibe we were going for. He kept the dance floor packed by mixing everything from salsa, bachata, and cumbia to Top 40, corridos, and rap. It was so much fun watching everyone go from dancing bachata with their partners to singing every word to Tupac a few songs later!
He was also super easy to work with leading up to the wedding. We had a couple of planning calls, and he really listened to what we wanted. If you're looking for a DJ who knows how to read the crowd and keep the party going, we definitely recommend DJ Soto!

of different music and were struggling to figure out what we wanted, but Gregg filled in the gaps seamlessly. We had him for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception, and he excelled in all aspects! He had the reception moving so smoothly and was able to work with us on all the special dances we wanted to include at the reception. There absolutely is a reason why Gregg and Ambient DJS are so well rated on all their reviews. We had many guests come up to us after the wedding to tell us what a great job Gregg did and we gave him all the kudos because the only direction we gave as far as music genre for the reception was “millenial pop.” We cannot recommend Ambient DJS and Gregg enough!

for our after party - Ambient was able to provide both! Our photo booth operator and DJ, Jeremy, made everything come together seamlessly. As a Type A bride, I was looking for a specific vibe and they had many great backdrop options for the booth. And when I wanted to integrate some custom design to the photostrip layouts, they even let me take the reins. The DJ/karaoke piece was also wonderful. Everyone felt like they had a chance to shine. On top of all that, they were able to help us with an unusual request. We had struck out with our venue and band to source a projector for a video we wanted played during the reception. Everyone told us it wouldn't work with the layout of the space. Ambient was able to source a "short throw projector" which solved those problems. We got so many compliments about the video and are so grateful to Ambient for making it happen. Thank you!

Joe Grillo on the saxophone, and they were one of the best parts of our wedding!! I got so many compliments on what a great job they did and how the wedding felt like such a fun party. Gregg was great at reading the room and keeping everyone on the dance floor, and Joe's talent had everyone talking about how elevated the experience was. He also performed on the saxophone during our ceremony and made it so elegant, beautiful, and unforgettable. The prices are extremely reasonable and I got way more than my money's worth. Gregg knew what kind of vibe we were looking for & executed it perfectly! The planning portal was super easy to use & had tons of recommendations as well as pre-made playlists of different genres for cocktail hour.
We added on the photo booth service as an extra & everyone had a great time taking photos.

ng before, and writing this review for Nick was a priority for me. During the pre-event planning months, I was pretty much clueless about event planning, and despite giving him very little detail or info, Nick spent hours and was available at every step in helping me create literally the best night of my life. I trusted his expertise, and wow did it pay off. Even up until the NIGHT BEFORE the event, I was still unsure about doing something I wanted to do, but had decided against it because I didn't know if it was something guests would like. If it weren't for Nick, I would've lost out on probably what was the most memorable highlight and clincher of the entire event - for me, my husband and guests. And not only that, he still worked up until the very second to help suggest and provide me with the resources (video, etc) to proceed - again, all thrown at him up until the last minute. He made it easy for me, and again, despite me not being organized and throwing a lot at him (again, last minute), he handled it all with ease, and made every idea I had 100 times better. He provided his opinion and suggestions with extreme professionalism, but also with a personal/candid touch, which made me trust him at every step. He made it easy for me, which was a big deal as I was so busy and overwhelmed. And of course during the actual event, he took my requests (which again, I didn't give him much) and then catered to the crowd. I truly believe, or at least for people in my world, that the music makes or breaks for a successful event. I've already said Nick helped me create the best night of my life, but I think what was the most telling, and blew me away, was the number of guests - those I know and those I never met - who came up to me and said it was the best event they've ever attended. The only bad part was that the night had to end! I am so unbelievably grateful to Nick, and Ambient DJ Services. If I ever have another event, I'd probably change my schedule around if necessary to make sure I could work with Nick and Ambient DJ again, as I can't imagine trusting anyone else. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

sic we asked (classic 60s/70s/80s songs mixed in with some alternative rock/pop) as well as played our requested songs and dedicated songs. He also got the "vibe" perfect for the sit down dinner, and seamlessly "turned up the party" when the open dancing began.
More than that, we had some very specific instructions about our first dance. He managed all of it perfectly so that we felt no stress. He was so flexible and responsive with all of the toasts, too, even when my Dad went up to look for the microphone behind the DJ table!
It's so clear that DJ Gregg read every word that we communicated to him through emails over the course of the few months leading up to the wedding, and that he really listened to our vision for the night.
Highly recommend Gregg Hollmann for a friendly, responsive, and fun DJ to have at your wedding! The dance floor was packed the entire night.

As a bride and groom the day can pull you into a thousand directions and I fully had confidence in DJ Gregg to keep us on track with the schedule, to keep our bridal party in line with entrances and speeches, and give us a memorable wedding. od the vibe we were going for, even when we were a bit scatter brained with our musical lists! Gregg took the music we wanted and turned it into something electric, playing banger after banger, and kept people dancing the entire night. We did a cocktail reception because we wanted just a giant party, and we are big music, people so the music was one of the most important aspects of the entire night. Gregg saw that vision and ran with it. He was able to incorporate different genres and eras of music, blending everything perfectly, and creating a truly perfect night. On top of all that, he provided Glo sticks, had two assistants that helped keep the night on track and running smooth, gifted us a book with copies of all the photo booth pictures people took throughout the night, and afterwards sent us the Spotify playlist of all the music he played (in the same order)! A true gem of a human. Thank you to Gregg and his wonderful team for creating a night we will never forget (I’m forever dancing to Chumbawamba).

lutely blown away. In the pre-event planning, it was clear that he wanted to get a feel for the mood, atmosphere, and genres we were going for. On the day of our wedding, he absolutely nailed it. The dance floor was full nearly the whole night, and people of all ages were up there. We had lots of people commenting on how good the music was. We felt like we could barely sit down to eat because we just wanted to keep dancing! He also did a great job emceeing and being organized on top of the great song choices. We had a fantastic night, in very large part thanks to an incredible job from our DJs. And if I could give these guys six stars for value, I would. list. We also were going to do a mix of 2 songs for our first dance and Gregg spliced those together for us, although we ended up using only one of them. My dad and I also decided to do a surprise dance medley and Gregg put the mix together for us and sent to us in advance so I had time to choreograph and we had time to practice! Gregg was our DJ, Nick was our emcee, and Jeremy was our photobooth guy. He also worked with us before the event to create the photo strip design, sending us multiple iterations back and forth, and even going back once we had agreed on one to truly make it what we wanted!!

ts were diverse (Filipino, Cambodian, Chinese, all ages) and it was really important to us that our DJ strike the right balance of songs that satisfied all these groups. We felt heard and understood throughout the whole process. They have a very detailed event planning form that they executed flawlessly. Even if there was a situation where they had to adapt on the fly, they did so in a professional and calm manner. I see the DJ as the vendor that takes the baton to the finish line, and they were exactly the addition we needed on the team. We hope we have more events of all kinds that we can hire them for.

Gregg was fantastic on the wedding day - he read the vibe of the room very well and kept everyone dancing all night! I had guests coming to me after the wedding to complement the DJ.
I was also so happy we got the photobooth, everyone absolutely loved it!! Jeremy was fantastic and went above and beyond for us. He created a beautiful photo strip design that was exactly what I wanted. Jeremy was also able to find the perfect wedding photo props for us as well! At the end of the night we received digital copies of all the photos and a photo album with all the photos that our guests signed.

ivered! I had multiple people come up to me at the end of the night saying how great our DJ was. The online music/wedding planning was so helpful and really made picking music so easy. Our guests also loved the photobooth! We received the pictures from the photobooth in a photoalbum the night of, and within the week we received them all digitally too! Thank you for making our day so special and keeping the party going all night!

as such a smooth and easy process from start to finish. DJ Soto made sure that he played all different types of music according to my and my husband's musical tastes. What I love the most is that on the day of my wedding, I had some last-minute changes, and he adjusted to the changes so quickly with no problem. He was so friendly and welcoming to any song requests from the guests, which was amazing. Thank you, DJ Soto, for being so great and making our wedding day so special!

I cannot recommend Gregg enough!!I have been to many weddings and I have never seen a dance floor so crowded and for so long! The dance floor was packed before we even sat for dinn...
er! From being at other people's weddings, I was admittedly a little nervous that there would be that awkward down time before people really get dancing, but nope! Gregg had the party going. He was so kind and helpful in answering all of my questions. I had very specific ideas in mind and he gladly accommodated all of them. Everything was beyond better than I could have ever imagined! He really made the reception so easy for us. It was also important to us that we did not hire someone that was too "cheesy" with the microphone. Gregg was the perfect balance of professional and fun/exciting. We really cannot recommend him enough!

t DJs on the Knot and decided to reach out to Gregg. From our first call we definitely knew he was great. My family is from Spain so my parents really wanted some Spanish touches, my dad clipped songs together and Gregg was able to play them all for my parents entrance and our father/daughter dance. We also chose cover songs from YouTube for our ceremony and again Gregg was able to play them all. He was absolutely fantastic and everyone LOVED the photo booth as well. I had so many people come up to us after the night was over and say how incredible he was. We danced every single minute that we were sitting down for dinner. Seriously hire DJ Gregg!!

e night! He played the perfect mix of songs to please all guests. He met all our requests and kept an upbeat vibe all night.
I especially liked how comprehensive the process of choosing and discussing the DJ services were, and how often we communicated. We had in house lighting at our venue that was controlled by an iPad, and Mike made sure to build in time to familiarize himself with the device before our reception. Mike is also just a really fun, nice guy! He was so awesome to work with!

played, and DJ Gregg gladly accepted it and integrated it into the night. Our guest list was largely Persian, and DJ Gregg found the most incredible Persian dancey songs to keep the energy up. Our dance floor was literally filled with guests dancing from the beginning until the very end of the night. We also added a photo booth to our package, and are so happy we did! The team made a scrapbook from the photo strips that also doubled as a "guest book." They made a personalized photo strip based on our color scheme and sent it to us for our approval before finalizing. Finally, they were extremely affordable and willing to fit into our budget. We're truly grateful for their talent and dedicated work. Our guests are still raving about how much fun they had dancing, and it's because of DJ Gregg and the incredible team that created such a lively, joyful, and energetic atmosphere!

We had DJ Iron Mike, DJ Spinzy (as our emcee) and Gregg as our awesome wedding music/entertainment team for our wedding reception and they truly rocked it!
We are so grateful that...
we found them through The Knot, because everything we asked for, and we definitely asked for a lot, they were able to match, and even surpass at times!
We asked for a DJ & emcee combo so that we didn’t have to stress about our wedding timeline and certain important announcements being missed, and DJ Iron Mike & DJ Spinzy were the perfect duo!
We also asked for “dancing in the clouds” dry ice effect, cold sparklers for special moments, and a mirror photobooth which was expertly and generously manned by Gregg the whole night, thank you so much!!! Our guests loved our entire reception, they couldn’t stop talking about every little detail!
Our dance floor was popping and all of our guests that flew in from NC really enjoyed dancing at our reception. Thank you for making our wedding so special!!

n. We wanted an experienced DJ who could curate the song list and smoothly transition from different types of songs (e.g., family-friendly, classics, top hits), and Dre did a fantastic job. He was also able to seamlessly incorporate song requests from guests. We forgot to send guests' requests to Dre ahead of time so were pleasantly surprised when he was able to add them throughout the night! Our guests all raved about the music and complimented how well everything flowed together.
Dre also helped with our reception uplighting and did a beautiful job. During our planning conversations, we gave Dre a general overview of the ambience we were hoping to create. We had a specific color for the uplighting in mind, but Dre was honest in letting us know our idea wouldn't give us the vibe we wanted. We're so happy Dre gave us his feedback and appreciated his expertise to create a modern, yet elegant and understated atmosphere.
From Dre, our DJ, to Joe, our saxophonist, to Charlotte and Max, our photobooth technicians, and Gregg, who was communicative and helpful through the planning process, Ambient DJs were great to work with and we highly recommend them.

fident in our choice of DJ. He provides a website to allow ease of communication and follows up with thorough questioning on your music desires.
On the day of the wedding, we coordinated with him to provide equipment for our guitarist (separate vendor) to perform our beach ceremony. As the day went on, he made sure to check in to ensure he was prepared for wedding party intros and announcements.
Finally, the music. Fire. Outstanding. He took a playlist of 25ish songs that we provided him and created a vibe for the night that had everybody feeling amazing. Every song had someone dancing--even the older crowd--and many songs had everyone dancing!
I can't recommend Ambient DJ, and Gregg, enough. Also, as a preferred vendor to our venue (The Reeds at Shelter Haven), he's a no-brainer if you're looking for a DJ.
