I wanted to make sure I left a review on theknot.com, as that is how I found these guys. From the very beginning from requesting quotes, to all the way through to the very end Zach was nothing but professional. We decided to do an intimate backyard wedding but needed MC and DJ Services and Zach knew exactly what needed to be done and suggested proper power supply and everything else to ensure our special day went perfectly to plan. They also have a really easy to use planner through their website to make sure everyone was all on the same page which was really helpful. Highly recommend this company!!

Adrian absolutely crushed it at my wedding. He created a very fun atmosphere that got even my reserved family to dance and have a blast! He is very organized and communicates well. His transitions between songs were seamless and reflected with what the crowd was vibing with. For my wedding he went above and beyond by creating an entrance for us based on our favorite show which made it so funny and special for us. I would recommend him for anyone who will listen, 12/10

Ambient Entertainment was the absolute best DJ we could have asked for. The planning process with Zach was seamless and we could always reach out with a quick response or use our portal to create our dream wedding. On the day of the wedding, Zach was outstandingly prompt, respectful and professional. He ran our event so smoothly and the dance floor was alive all night! If I were to ever host another event that needed a DJ I would not think twice and I would hire Zach and Ambient again! 

I can’t say enough about how incredible Ambient Entertainment is! DJ Max absolutely saved the day for my company, Northwoods DJ Services, by stepping in last minute to cover the Delano Homecoming dance. Not only did he take the stress completely off my shoulders, but he delivered an amazing experience for the students and staff. His professionalism, energy, and ability to read the crowd were spot on the entire night. It’s hard to find someone who can jump in under pressure and make it feel effortless, but DJ Max and the owner of Ambient Entertainment did exactly that. They made us look good, and most importantly, they made the dance unforgettable. I am beyond grateful for their support and can’t recommend them highly enough!

We interviewed several DJ's but none came close to the professionalism and real conversation we had with Adrian at Ambient Entertainment. He offered very good advice about wedding timing, ceremony sites/setups etc. All based on his experiences. We used those pieces of advice throughout our whole planning phases. We got Zach as a DJ. He met with us 3 times. Each time, we came simply came closer to the perfect entertainment picture for us. We were very particular about what songs our bridal party walked up to, and oppositely, we wanted an experienced DJ to read the room and play music people loved. I was NOT going to dictate what Zach could play!! Let the talent work!! We paid for the best package they had. Lights, uplighting, sound and multiple locations. From start to finish, it was the best money we spent. Save money on other things, but not on this. Ambient was worth every. Single. Penny.

We had DJ Luke at our wedding and he was great to work with! Very good at communicating and going with the flow day of. Our dance floor was packed all night. Highly recommend DJ Luke!

We loved working with Ambient Entertainment! They have a great portal where you can enter in your timeline, song preferences, and other important details. Super easy to use and a great feature that sets them a part. Luke was our emcee and DJ! Luke was super easy and good to work with. We had a few meetings with him prior to the day so we were all the same page. Luke showed up on time and set up without a hitch for our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception! The mics were ready to go and there were no sound issues whatsoever. He also was amazing at keeping us on schedule, without rushing anyone. He did a great job of getting our bridal ready to hype up the crowd for the entrance and was seriously so great at helping us with moving through our speeches. Great playlist as well!! Would definitely recommend!

We hired Ambient Entertainment for our wedding on August 15th and they most certainly delivered! We worked with Luke and he was an absolute pleasure to have in our company on wedding day. Planning was simple and the resources provided by Ambient made it a breeze. On the special day, all went exactly as planned and any last minute adjustments were done with no trouble at all. He was able to accommodate all our requests, the sound quality was amazing (both for music and speaking portions of the day) and when tasked with selecting music for requested genres and vibes throughout the night, Luke did a stellar job. We are so grateful to have had such a wonderful and personable DJ to run the show. Our wedding day was truly the best it could have been and much of the credit can be given to Luke and the Ambient team for truly loving what they do and making it show with the passion he put into every moment of our event. We had a great time planning with ambient, our meeting were organized and we thought we had a great plan for the dance and evening. Unfortunately, on wedding day the dance did not go as planned and the vibe of the reception was not what we were hoping for. The dance floor cleared multiple times playing songs that were not on our playlist we had worked so hard creating.

Zach was so fun to work with and made all our visions come to life. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. His experience is evident in his performance. He made our wedding night so much fun with everyone on the dance floor. Worked to make out specific request and was a fun guy to be around. Zach was a huge piece in making sure the day ran smoothly. We couldn't have done it without him.

We had Zach as the DJ for our wedding. We had a call with him a few weeks prior to the wedding to go thru details. He allowed all our visions to come thru and provided expert opinion when asked. He was very easy to communicate with - on multiple occasions we were emailing him with small changes and he was prompt in response and diligent in making any changes. We loved that we could communicate directly with Zach who would be the one at our wedding and that we weren't blasting emails into a corporate inbox. He set up a sound check with our officiant and flute player prior to family pictures so everyone was good to go. He blended sounds perfectly given the outdoor setting. He kept the dance floor fun and lively all night. thanks Zach, you were great and we had the perfect night!

Adrian absolutely ROCKED at our wedding. We got compliments all night long about his music choices, his presence, and his outfit (we had a Lord of the Rings themed wedding and he dressed up, iconic). He was so easy to work with as well, and really went all out for our themed wedding which meant so much to us. Would highly recommend him for any event!

We worked with Adrian for our wedding (November 16th, 2024) and we could not recommend him enough! Great communication throughout, super easy to work with, great DJ and MC. Our package also came with lighting which made the room so so beautiful, and we had a blast!

I had an amazing experience working with Ambient Entertainment and specifically Luke! The planning tools were very helpful and Luke walked us through many recommendations during our planning meetings. The dance was incredible and the dance floor was packed the whole time! If you want an amazing DJ for your wedding, DJ Luke Sames with Ambient Entertainment is your guy! He was wonderful at my sisters wedding. Luke was so polite and easy to talk to. We had Luke Sames as the DJ for our wedding, and 5 stars isn't enough for how amazing he did! The floor was filled all night long with people laughing, dancing and having a great time! Luke kept the party going, and also was great at MCing various parts! If you want high energy and a packed dance floor all night for your wedding then Luke is your guy! Can't thank him enough for making our special day as memorable and fun as he did!

There are not enough words to explain how wonderful this company is. Zach was our MC and DJ, and the depth of fun and meaningful emotional moments he fostered was our favorite part of the whole day. Every couple needs the Love Story service, make sure you ask about that, it’s priceless! The uplighting transformed our venue, the Photo Booth was never empty, and he kept the dance going even with our lower guest count. He was also a joy to communicate with in the whole process - we couldn’t imagine a better service!

We recently had Luke DJ our wedding on 6/7/24 and it was so great! He was always available in the planning process, he checked in before the ceremony and during the celebration. He read the crowd well, if something wasn’t working he switched it up. Would definitely recommend Ambient Entertainment & Luke!

It was a pleasure to work with Adrian start to finish. He is wonderful at communicating & it's great that you can schedule as many Zoom meetings with him as you need during the planning process. We got several compliments from guests on how he entertained well. We also hired Adrian to be our wedding officiant and that worked out very nicely.

DJ Adrian is absolutely wonderful! I have so many great things to say about Ambient Entertainment. Not only is Adrian a fabulously talented and passionate DJ (he offers a portal to customize your experience and craft the perfect night and commits to never stop dancing), but Ambient also offers state-of-the-art memory-making features like an audio guestbook voicemail-style and super cool photo and video booth options. We are fortunate to have worked with Adrian by booking a solid photobooth and audio guestbook that our guests loved. We booked Adrian as our wedding DJ along with their Photo Booth + props. He was an absolute vibe! Working with him from beginning to end was very easy and such a joy. Any questions or concerns we had were always addressed accordingly. Adrian is very energetic, transparent, and attentive. Would definitely recommend!

I had been in a wedding with Ambient Entertainment as the DJ and was so impressed, so it was no brainer to go with them as we planned our own wedding. Adrian was so helpful and personable during our whole planning process and the day of. We had scheduled a walk through the week before our wedding that was super helpful to go through our day of schedule and make sure everyone was on the same page. He was amazing during the day with checking in with us on the timeline and what we wanted as we did get ahead of schedule during our reception. Our guests loved the photo booth and had a blast on the dance floor.

I loved everything about them! Zach was a great communicator and made my wedding amazing! The dance floor was busy all the time! 100000/10 recommend!!

I have mixed feelings about my experience with our DJ. Pros: great planning tools, great front end communication about options, and great set up at the venue. We had good engagement and energy with announcements, etc. Cons: I got several complaints regarding song choices and seeming annoyed at requests and questions. One person said, “it definitely didn’t seem like he wanted to hear any of our requests, like he just wanted to do his own thing.” Don’t get me wrong, we had a great time dancing and enjoying the night, but there were some comments made that I couldn’t overlook since I also experienced it myself.

We used Ambient Entertainment LLC for our July 2023 wedding and if we could give more than 5 stars we absolutely would! Adrian was our DJ and he was amazing to work with - leading up to our wedding he was extremely helpful with the planning and we were able to set up as many zoom meetings as we wanted to which was very helpful. The planning website to input your timeline, song requests, songs you don’t want to play, etc was an awesome feature and made everything seamless. Our actual day went so smoothly and I can’t even count how many of our guests came up to us just to tell us how great our DJ was - Adrian had great energy and kept everyone entertained and the dance floor packed at all times. If the dancefloor ever emptied a bit, he knew exactly how to get everyone back out there by playing a crowd pleaser song next. We also added the 360 Photo Booth as part of our package and we HIGHLY recommend doing this for your wedding if you’re able to - it’s such a unique spin on a traditional Photo Booth and our guests absolutely loved it! Guests were able to put their emails in to have their videos sent to their phone immediately and we even got copies of all of the videos as well, which was so fun to look through! Adrian even took a bunch of photos and videos on his own phone from all parts of the wedding and provided to us after, which was awesome to have more candids from throughout the whole day - especially since we didn’t hire a videographer, the extra videos we got from him captured some things from the ceremony and reception that we didn’t even know we wanted until we got them, so it was such a nice and unexpected addition! Overall, highly recommend Ambient Entertainment, we are so happy with our decision!

Zach did an amazing job for our wedding. He came well prepared, and helped make the day perfect and seamless. His music selection was on point, and we had so many of our guests compliment the music and his DJ services. The sound systems, uplighting, photo booth, and other services/products they have to offer, differentiates them from the competition. Would 10/10 recommend to any other couples searching for a DJ!

Luke was our DJ and he was AMAZING. Communication was 10/10 right off the bat, he was super quick to respond and helped with a ton of aspects of coordinating our ceremony and reception. The day of was amazing. Our ceremony and dinner music was perfect, and he kept our dance floor packed for pretty much the entirety of the night. It was such a great experience!

My wife and I hired Ambient Entertainment for our wedding a few weeks ago with Adrian Quilling as our DJ. I cannot say enough about how incredible Adrian was. He was very helpful both before the wedding and on the day of. He was flexible and willing to work with us on all kinds of different requests we had as well as helping to solve problems and give suggestions on backup plans when it was supposed to storm during our outdoor ceremony. Adrian also took numerous photos and videos throughout the night on his phone which was great to have especially after the photographer left. Adrian is also an unparalleled DJ. He was great at incorporating our songs while making the evening fun for everyone. He also kept the energy high throughout the night. Our day was an absolute blast thanks in large part to Adrian. We got several add-ons as well. First, we got some uplighting for the head table. I don't remember exactly which uplighting package we got but I believe it was the standard 12 count. This looked nice but of all the add-ons this is maybe the one i wouldn't do again, although it's totally personal preference and looked very nice. We also got the dancing on a cloud for our first dance. It looked very nice and Adrian put in a lot of effort to make sure it fully covered the dance floor. We also got the indoor fireworks which were awesome. Everyone loved these. Adrian did a great job of using them at the best times to make the special moments even more special and to entertain guests. Lastly, we got the 360 photo booth. I was a little on the fence about this one over just a regular photo booth before the wedding but it ended up being my (and many other people's) favorite add on. It was an absolute blast. Everyone loved it. I seriously cannot recommend Ambient entertainment (and especially Adrian Quilling) enough. They went above and beyond in so many ways! Thank you Ambient and Adrian!

Adrian was the perfect DJ for our wedding day! The presentation he put on was amazing! He puts his whole heart into his work so your day can be perfect. His attention to the details and flow of the day is great! We would recommend him to anyone and everyone—He is worth every penny!! We got so many compliments on the music and his sleek/modern set up, suited for any venue!
