Cactus Collective Weddings in Las Vegas, and as we are Canadians, we asked for their recommendations to find someone for makeup and hair. Their preferred vendor was Amelia and co. and I am so happy that they were suggested to us! Our artist was named Lucy, and she was a gorgeous and fiery red-head who was so kind and lovely, and she helped this adhd bride figure out on the day, what exactly the look should/could/would be. She took all my many ideas and suggestions, used her expertise and pulled everything off without a hitch. My makeup had probably never looked better than that before and she gave me the modern/1960’s hair look of my dreams! Thank you Amelia and co. for helping make our special day, everything and more! The entire process was seamless and no stress.

From the beginning, this company’s communication was outstanding. They were responsive, clear, and so reassuring from booking all the way to the big day. The team arrived early, ready, and stayed calm and organized throughout the busy morning. These ladies worked flawlessly with us and delivered looks that stayed on all day and night. I also highly recommend booking a trial to work out any questions or concerns you have with your dream bridal look! I loved meeting Aimee and Katie prior and getting tips for how to feel and look my best before and during the wedding.

Natalia did my makeup, and she truly exceeded my expectations. She asked thoughtful questions to make sure she understood exactly what I was going for. I wanted something natural and elegant. The end result was flawless—glowy, soft, and still very “me.”
Zulma styled my hair, and she absolutely aced it. I showed her a picture of what I had in mind, and she recreated it perfectly, down to every last detail. On top of that, both she and Natalia worked quickly and efficiently, which kept everything running smoothly. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to make me feel beautiful on my wedding day.

eup preview two weeks before to the wedding day itself, Alexis was fun, calm, professional, and so easy to work with. She really listened to my vision and brought it to life perfectly — I felt stunning and so confident all day. My makeup lasted through the evening into the after party.
The entire experience was fun, relaxed, and flawless. Alexis even gave me makeup tips to use in the real world - thank you Alexis! Edith did my hair and it was Gorgeous- an exact duplicate of the info photo I showed her but better. Edith was attentive and was so great at putting in my extensions . brides after their wedding (we exchanged texts on 11/8/24) no mention was made of your unhappiness. I would have loved an opportunity to set things right then. You did mention in your text you had an amazing experience and would get back to me with feedback over text or email, but we didn't hear from you after that.
Of course, I spoke with stylist and artist to ask if something went wrong, and their response was that they weren't aware of any issues. They both stated that you were quite particular, but at the end of your services were quoted saying it was "the best hair and makeup you ever got". They also said you were very nice.
There also seems to be some confusion around "being late" - when the bride is the only one receiving services, the artists stagger themselves so one arrives before the other so that they aren't working on top of each other and crowding the bride. Your artist was not late, she simply arrived after your stylist so they could space apart services for a more comfortable experience. This is our standard which is why bride-only appointments are still two hours long even with two artists assigned. We do not rush our clients.
I've texted you your photos they took but I will post them here as well so fellow brides have a good reference as to the look you are referring to. We want everyone to feel stunning and beautiful on their wedding day and take reviews like this seriously. Every bride has her own version of what "beautiful" means, and a visual aid helps to make sure her version aligns with ours so this doesn't happen again. Our artists would have loved to help you feel stunning on your wedding day and they left thinking you did. Had they been told otherwise, they would have stayed to work towards your desired look. We are all sorry to hear that's not the case.

nd immediately had a great feeling. Luckily they were able to get me and my wedding party in for a trial as well as wedding day hair and makeup. The coordinating services were incredibly easy and the point of contact genuinely cared.
First, I was a NERVOUS bride. I don't wear a lot of eye makeup, and I am very particular about my hair. The vibe they gave was SO calming, even amongst the chaos around us. My mom made my wedding dress and had to finish on the trip (we came from WA State). She forgot her scissors, needle, and thread and we were PANICKING. Alexis and Courtney had ALL 3!!! Literally saved us from attempting to find all of these items working against the clock to finish.
Aside from that, trial hair and makeup was beautiful!! For the wedding day I had just a couple of requests to make it more of an evening look. More than that, they MADE me feel beautiful. They were kind, and allowed me to ask questions for future makeup tips.
After my trial, the day before, my bridesmaids - who last minute decided they did not want hair and makeup done - LOVED my look and each of them wanted to add both hair and makeup for the day of my wedding. My mom and mother in law - one had pre-selected just hair, the other pre-selected just makeup - both decided to add the additional services as well. Luckily they were able to come just a little early and squeeze everyone in! They worked so quickly and efficiently and were the epitome of kindness.
The finished product looked AMAZING for photos, and they both did such an amazing job of elevating my look while staying true to my natural beauty. It did not feel overdone and everything stayed in place the whole day; even in Vegas heat during August.
I cannot recommend this company and those ladies enough. 5 STARS without a doubt!!!

appreciate Steffanie and Karen. They are ultimate pros and also just nice people who put me at ease. I knew I was in great hands with them. They looked at a few reference pictures I had, then very quickly customized the look to my features. I was so happy with the results. I was surprised to find so many bobby pins in my hair, because Karen set them in a way that I didn't even feel them (normally bobby pins would give me a headache within a few hours). ht fit for me. Amelia C & Co allowed me to do a trial with the other MUA for free. The 2nd artist, Aimee, ended up being my MUA and main point of contact for the day. She is PHENOMENAL, both as an artist and as someone you’re spending hours with on your big day. She put all of my anxieties to rest, had no problems with me checking in/ask for changes, was kind and lighthearted, and stuck around for longer than required just to make sure everyone was happy with how they looked. My experience with this company was good, but my experience with Aimee was amazing. On the whole, all 4 ladies were incredibly kind, including the MUA who I did the 1st trial with (who still did 4 of my bridesmaids’ makeup!). Everyone was completely happy with their hair as well!

itive reviews on The Knot and was paired with Aimee for my makeup and Rae for my hair. Both ladies showed up right on time to my Airbnb and were so professional and sweet! I quickly became besties with these 2 ladies and they perfected my inspo photos to the T!! We laughed together, cried together and just had the best conversations to ease my nerves the morning of my wedding. I should also mention that because this was a destination wedding, I wasn’t able to book a trial appointment beforehand, so I was a bit nervous about that, but I couldn’t have been placed in better hands than with these 2 ladies!
We also squeezed my mom’s hair and makeup into the appointment last minute and they were able to make her look absolutely flawless as well! My mom still talks about how beautiful she felt on my wedding day.

super flexible when I had an emergency and had to reschedule my makeup trial day of, and she was just as lovely on wedding day! My makeup was truly done better than it has been at any other wedding, and my bridesmaids all agreed they did great work (Natalia and Marai did our makeup).
In addition to makeup, Kari and Meg came along to do all of our hair, and they were also wonderful! All 10 of us girls had fantastic hair and makeup, and it looked great throughout the night. Not only was the work well done, but the girls were so fun and friendly to work with all morning and the pricing was very reasonable, in my opinion. I booked them solely off internet reviews (and a venue recommendation) and would recommend it to anyone who asks!
