ee if she was a good fit, we talked for close to an hour at her studio and she felt like a friend we had known forever. Besides the easy conversation, her work is beautiful. We were originally drawn to her photos because of the natural color. There weren’t any odd color filters that are trendy right now. We wanted to capture the natural colors and beauty of the day and our venue. She did just that. We were so pleased with the little moments she was able to capture. We also hired for a 2nd photographer and Amy selected someone who was also incredible to work with and a lot of fun! Our guests loved that they were popping into the photobooth and on the dancefloor at the end of the night. They blended in with the crowd and our guests truly enjoyed talking with them. It was also a nice touch at the end of the night. Amy told us she left us a gift. She was able to print out one of our wedding photos she had taken that day and framed it for us. So thoughtful! Post wedding, she sent us a slideshow teaser to view some of the photos, which was amazing! We received all of our photos quickly afterward. Would highly recommend Amy!

two engagement shoots with her, where we were either trekking through the woods in the dark or shooting in a freezing waterfall, and she never once complained, heavy gear and all! Her positive attitude is infectious. On our wedding day, she was the one thing I didn’t have to stress about at all! I knew she would be on time, and would jump right in. She did a great job at capturing all the moments, and everything on our shot list. I was blown away with the professionalism from a business perspective. Documentation, contracts, payments etc. were easy to receive, sign, and do online. The speed in which she gets photos back to you is unheard of! She even sent us a cute gift in the mail around the holidays with our engagement photo and made a fun sneak peak slideshow of our wedding day. The cherry on top, she printed a photo from the day of the wedding and put it in a centerpiece frame and gifted it to us at the end of the night! It was so fun to go home with a memento from the day. I highly recommend that you hire Amy, you will not be disappointed.

ision and I'm so glad we booked her. Our engagement shoot with her was great practice for us. As I'm sure is the case with most couples, we'd never had experience posing for a professional photographer with each other before. It's surprisingly difficult to look natural, not feel uncomfortable while kissing and to actually look cute while attempting to capture the love you share with another human. Amy gave us great direction and made us feel very comfortable (almost an impossible feat for my husband!). She's laid-back, fun, carefree, and fully open to any suggestions we had. I have to also mention that it was absolutely POURING down rain that day, which obviously makes a photo shoot extremely difficult. Amy rolled with the punches, juggled her gear and umbrellas with ease, and the photos still turned out beautifully. Working with her and her awesome assistant (Bronwen) on our wedding day was a breeze. She provided a shot list for us to fill out prior, so she just went to town as soon as she got there without needing any direction. We had a lot of shots to get through on another rainy day with a lot of different people involved, but Amy kept us wrangled and on schedule. Bronwen was amazing with engaging the kids (and a lot of the adults too)! I just loved when their time was up at the end of the night and they joined us on the dance floor. They were breaking it down better than the guests! What a fun pair. The wedding day went by in a flash of course - we were on a high all weekend. Once it was over, the thing we looked forward to the most was getting our photos back. Sadly, we were a bit disappointed with how our wedding video turned out, so I was a little nervous to see the photos. I needn't have been worried - they were absolutely stunning! She captured every detail perfectly. I have looked through them from start to finish at least 50 times now and each time I relive my wedding day all over again. The memories come flooding back and the feelings of love and support just fill my heart and soul. Please don't take the decision of choosing your wedding photographer lightly. It is a very personal choice. Choose someone you jive with and whose photos speak to you. Try to picture yourself in place of that couple and see if that is the style you're looking for. You will be showing these photos off a thousand times and will look back on them yourself even more. I could not be more grateful to Amy (and Bronwen) and the gift she has given me for a lifetime.

dding Amy was so helpful with recommendations and ideas. She met us previous to the wedding to do a small mini-shoot around downtown Seattle. We quickly clicked with Amy. We knew with Amy we were not just getting a wedding photographer but a friend. She was someone who genuinely cared about us and what we wanted on our special day. On our wedding, she showed up early and helped make sure everything was captured. We did a small "reception" after and she took photos of a champagne toast and the small details. She was perfect and I was so glad we worked with her. Having a small wedding, it was important for us to have so many photos and she did just that. I cannot say enough good things about Amy. You will not go wrong and like I said, you get more than a photographer with Amy, but someone who is a friend and made our day even more perfect and special.

Amy lugged her big bag of cameras on the mile hike out to our destination. Our pictures came out beautifully! Also, did I mention she is a pet photographer too? We had our dog apart of our engagement pictures and some of the wedding photos. She managed to get some amazing shots with the three of us (I also now believe my dog is more photogenic that I am!). Her and her assistant were so great on our wedding day! We have some great memories to look back on of that day and that is due to Amy's amazing photography skills.

I gave her our shots list at the very last minute, at something like 3am the night before we got married, and despite that, she was able to scramble that morning and get organized and we got all the photos I wanted. (Thanks Amy... and sorry about that!) She's super willing to make a little adjustment to a photo, e.g. send over a black-and-white version, and promptly! Talk about an easy person to work with.

s incredibly artistic, fun and beautiful! Her pictures really told a story of each couple’s day, which is exactly what I wanted as a bride. And once I met with her, it was a done deal. Not only is she a hoot, she’s one of the nicest people I’ve met. We have really gotten to know her throughout the process, and I’m so glad! On the day of our wedding, it rained. This was something we knew could happen, but it was not at all planned for. We had no tent, our decorations were made of tissue paper, and the whole day was outside…ceremony and reception! Amy was so fantastic; she brought us the most gorgeous bright red umbrella, which matched our wedding colors to a tee! She was such a good sport, and so out of the box and entertaining that we hardly noticed it was raining all over us. She had us laughing up a storm, and being silly, even while we were cold and soaked! My bridesmaids had smiles on their faces the entire time, and so did Amy! She doesn’t have to work to make people smile, she’s naturally funny. No, actually, hilarious. Even though our expensive hairstyles were getting ruined, we had an absolute blast. And, the umbrella she brought made for the most gorgeous pictures! I found myself so grateful that it had rained when I saw them. I would have had it no other way! I swear, Amy didn’t miss a moment. We have so many great pictures, it’s near impossible to pick our favorites. She captured the feeling of the wedding, which turned out to be a fantastic feeling. She caught almost every guest with a smile on their face, and made my husband and I feel like everything was just how it should be, or better. The day of your wedding should be the very best day of your life (at least to date!) and Amy really helped make mine the best. She radiated happiness and silliness, and everyone just followed her lead. It was perfect. So, now I’m to the best part: the pictures! I can’t look through them without getting teary-eyed. Nothing and no one could have captured that day better than Amy did. She really worked off of our personalities, and the pictures reflect that! There are so many fun pictures, and everyone is clearly ecstatic in every single one. She is not afraid to think outside of the box, like I said before. I couldn’t imagine anything better. It’s really hard to put Amy’s style into words, but I would sum it up as ….imaginative + marvelous + fearless. nces. We met with Amy a few times as we prepared for the wedding and found the best package to match our desires. We also decided to have her photograph our rehearsal dinner the night before. Best decision in the world as this evening was as important and it gave Amy more insight to photograph our wedding day even better. We have been very pleased with our finished product and enjoy looking at our photos on our own, with our parents, and with our friends, etc. Our guests were also pleased with the photos and enjoyed the online album, ability to order prints, and relive the day. ples would get a chance to experience her exceedingly rare combination of charm, friendliness, artistic talent, work ethic, and stunning photographs. We met Amy a couple of times. The first time, over drinks in Belltown, was enough to convince me that she was the photographer for us (we'd probably met with 5-10 other photographers by that point). I'm really picky about photography - Amy's portfolio immediately conveyed a talent simultaneously comfortable with documenting an event and capturing those moments and details in thoughtful, artistic, and beautiful ways. We immediately decided on her. First she came out and did our engagement photos. Being the groom-to-be, I wasn't necessarily comfortable getting photographed. Let me tell you -- Amy tromped around with us in Discovery park and the photos she captured are hands down my favorite photographs of us as a couple. I was impressed then by her professional attitude and willingness to go the extra mile (we literally tromped around in the woods). At the wedding, Amy was amazing. Her and her assistant captured everything about the event. They were professional, detail orientated, hard working, and incredibly proficient. I can honestly say that they made our wedding better. It was a joy to have them at our wedding, sharing our happiness, and the resulting photos have, by far, exceeded my wildest expectations. They are an heirloom. They are a reflection of the joy, details, love, friends, quirkiness, beauty and soul of our wedding. I hope she's around for my childrens's weddings, and I am heartily recommended her to all of my friends.
