We had a disappointing experience with another wedding photographer before meeting Amelie, but everything changed when we found her. Our experience with Amelie was a complete 180, and we are beyond grateful for the connection! From our first consultation to well after our wedding day, Amelie consistently impressed us with her timeliness, professionalism, kindness, and helpfulness. She is a true expert at her craft!
On the day of our wedding, she brought a calming energy that made all the difference during what can often be a stressful time. Without a day-of coordinator, Amelie helped to move things along smoothly and keeping us on schedule. We also heard many compliments from tour wedding party about her throughout the day.
We were thrilled to receive a sneak peek of our gallery within 48 hours, and it exceeded all of our expectations! The photos were absolutely beautiful!! Not only did we get to see them so soon after the wedding, but the number of photos she sent was far more than we anticipated for a sneak peek.
We are SO grateful to have been connected with Amelie. We would recommend her to everyone, no matter the occasion, and will continue to refer her to friends and family. There’s no one else we’d trust to capture our future life events!

Amelie photographed our September 2023 wedding, and she was the perfect photographer for us! She was very responsive during the planning process and we felt comfortable going into the wedding day after having a couple of planning calls on Zoom. We really wanted to focus more on enjoying the day without it feeling like a photo-op; Amelie did a great job of giving us direction on posing and such when needed but also just capturing moments as they happened—she offered a very calm presence on a crazy day. We finished our bridal party and family photos way ahead of schedule! We were pleasantly surprised at the number of preview photos we got after just two days (so many!) and our full gallery even came a few days early. The photos turned out beautifully and we’re so happy to have the memories captured forever.

We are getting married in April 2024. We are so grateful to have Amelie as our photographer. She has such a warm personality and made us feel completely comfortable during our engagement session. We loved working with her and had such a fun time. After having such a great experience with our engagement session, we wouldn’t want anyone else taking pictures at our wedding. We highly recommend!

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer on our wedding day. We were extremely happy with our experience and you could tell she truly loves what she does! Honestly I think our day went so smooth because she was there to help make sure everything was taken care of. We got our album in the timeframe that was promised and we loved ALL of them. We definitely would recommend Amelie to future brides :)

Amelie stepped in last minute for us when our original engagement photo session with another photographer fell through. She is not only super professional, she makes the process super fun, even for my camera shy husband! We showed up with not a ton of ideas (because our original session was scheduled for a different city) but she has so much experience that she was able to guide us. She asked us questions throughout and made adjustments in response. She was very prompt with her delivery of the finished product and the photos turned out so beautifully. We can’t wait to use her again for our family photos for years to come!

Amelie is the best! I found her through the Knot. Just looking through her photos and Instagram, I was immediately pulled into her work. She does beautiful work! Getting to known her has been such a joy! She is so easy to work with, makes you feel comfortable, and the pictures turn out amazing. Our engagement session was just another date night for us (at least that’s how she made us feel!) and the pictures say it all. She captured every tiny moment. We can’t wait for the wedding!!

Amelie was absolutely incredible throughout the entire planning and event. She was so helpful and gave us resources and suggestions on what to bring, posing and anything else we needed help with. She has such a positive attitude and always made us feel confident and important on our special day. She got along so well with all our vendors and our friends and family had so many positive things to say about her. She was INCREDIBLE. She got us our sneak peak right away after the event too!

My fiancé and I had Amelie do our engagement photos downtown Grand Rapids and it was such a blast! Amelie exceeded my expectations not only with the pictures, but also with the experience! She was very efficient and made the process so easy as we navigated three different spots in one hour. I had this vision for a more modern downtown shoot and she was able to create exactly what we wanted. My fiancé and I had never had profession pictures done before and were so thankful with how comfortable Amelie made us feel! She had such a great energy the entire time. She was able to pose us quickly and efficiently, all while creating natural images with genuine smiles! Amelie is set to photograph our wedding in 2023 and we cannot wait. I recommend Amelie if you want a 10/10 experience along with fantastic pictures!

Amelie was amazing! She was so sweet. We live on the East side of the state and she traveled from the West side for our wedding! She was very punctual, scoped out the venue for the most perfect pictures, and we got all of our pictures back in a very timely manner! Would 10/10 recommend Amelie!

Amelie took our proposal, engagement, and wedding pictures and we love them all! She is such a joy to work with and we are so glad she was the one to capture all of our special moments.
