y of, she absolutely nailed it! She really listen to what I wanted and made me feel so beautiful and confident. I also did the airbrush makeup and it was so pretty and flawless and I didn't feel like I was wearing too much makeup or that I didn't look like myself. My hair stayed all evening even after dancing my butt off. A few bridesmaids and my mother had their hair and makeup done as well and they loved their looks! The team arrived on time and worked hard to make sure we had plenty of time to get ready. I absolutely recommend the American Belle team to future brides!

Not only were the hair and makeup great, but after a few unfortunate run ins with rain before the ceremony started, Emma re-curled some hair and Faith touched up everyone's makeup without even being asked. Overall they were easy to work with, created beautiful finished products, and offered very reasonable prices compared to other companies.

Unfortunately, this turned out to be maybe one of the worst experiences I have ever had in regards to customer service, and also hair and makeup. We did the makeup trial first. I asked for a more natural look, as I typically wear minimal makeup, but I knew that for photos, I wanted my makeup to hold up all day. I received black eyeshadow on my eyelids and white sand highlighter on my eyes - I was mortified. Thankfully my mom and MOH stepped in and helped me ask to have the eyeshadow toned down some to more neutral colors (i.e., beige, champagne, brown - closer to my skintone). After a few requests, Kelli was able to make adjustments, which was really appreciated. When we got to the hair trial, she asked to see photos of styles I liked. I showed her about 30 of the same hair style. I wanted a classic, minimal updo with a braid. Kelli attempted to braid my hair three different times, and I was finally so frustrated that I asked her to just stop and try something else. When she went to do an updo portion, she wasn't able to pin up my hair. She kept saying "don't worry, it will be more secure on the wedding day", but I kept thinking to myself, 'isn't the trial supposed to give me the look and idea of what to expect?', unfortunately neither hairstyle (2 total) that Kelli did worked. I left the salon wanted to cry and just do my own hair and makeup. I still tipped 20% but felt very upset at having to pay almost $200 for a hair and makeup trial that was so disastrous. When I voiced these concerns to Kelli, she told me that it was my fault because I did not have a "clear vision;" but I don't know how much more clear I could get when I showed nearly 30 of the same hairstyle. After a few emails back and forth, I was finally at least able to get the $85 back for the hair trial and the gratuity. I would implore any bride to do a trial before booking this team. I was unable to get my $75 deposit back and the service they provided (or lack thereof) is not worth the prices they charge.
