American Brass is truly a diamond in the rough as far as wedding venues in New York go. The restaurant is large enough to accommodate our 90 guests with enough space to host all portions of the ceremony/reception under one roof. It is perfectly located right on the water, away from the hustle and bustle of the city but with the most beautiful view of the New York skyline. We knew the food would be good after having had dinner at the restaurant once previously, but AB went above and beyond and the quality and quantity of everything they put out was perfect, from the passed canapes all the way through dessert (shout out to their in-house dessert chef who made all of the desserts including our custom wedding cake). We did not have a planner or day-of coordinator but Michael, the co-owner, and Tegwyth, the director of events, held our hand through every step and made us feel so comfortable and secure. The entire staff was so lovely and accommodating and AB was so flexible on a handful of requests that were outside of their normal scope. If i could do it all over again I'd choose American Brass every time - and the price was right, too!
Our wedding at American Brass exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we began planning, Teg and the entire team made the experience seamless, thoughtful, and completely stress-free. Every detail was handled with such care and professionalism, allowing us to truly enjoy every moment of our day.
The food was absolutely incredible, and our guests are still talking about it. Everyone raved about the beautiful ambiance, the outstanding service, and how attentive the staff was throughout the entire evening. In fact, not one guest ever had to leave their seat to get a drink—the service was simply unreal.
It is rare to find a venue that delivers beyond what you imagined, but American Brass did exactly that. The warmth, hospitality, and dedication of the entire staff made such an impact on us and our guests, and we are so grateful for everything they did to make our wedding unforgettable.
