g reception this is the way to go! The location is great too if your ceremony is is the historic district. However if you need separate spaces for anything (if you want a reception and ceremony to be separate/floorplan change, or need a place to get ready/take pictures away from guests) there is not a space to do that, and while there is a small room for caterers to use for prep, it only has a counter, no equipment so the caterer will need to bring their own warmers or fridges.

ugh to accommodate all our guests and have plenty of room for dancing. Kat was very easy to work with. She let us check out the venue several times before our actual event day. Even with very little decor, the ballroom looks very nice! Only downsides are no kitchen for your caterer and currently no elevator, but the new elevator is in the works. They provide the option of open bar, cash bar, or hybrid bar. We chose hybrid bar with a cap. Kat informed me throughout the night of how much we spent on the bar which was nice. If you're looking for an affordable, simple, spacious, old Savannah charm venue, this is the venue for you. We had some miscommunication about the open bar/cash bar, so make sure you take the time to review all the details of the alcohol before your event.

FECT for our band), and the beauty of the ballroom. Our guests raved about how unique the setting was and how much they loved it. Additionally, the ballroom allows you to pay for alcohol per drink consumed, which was what we needed for our guests. The manager/director (Dan) of the Ballroom is great to work with. He was always easy to get in contact with and responded in a timely manner.
