American Midnight was an absolutely fabulous addition to our wedding. I truly believe that they made the night as special as it was. They did far more than play music. They fostered special moments, they kept the energy high all night, and kept the night on track. Nick basically acted as a second event coordinator. They go above and beyond delivering not just a service, but creating memories, experiences, and special moments that are specific to you and what you want out of the wedding. Nick met with us 4 times leading up to the wedding - and offered many more - to figure out what kind of wedding we wanted. We told him we wanted everyone partying and dancing the whole time, and he absolutely delivered. We had a 60 person wedding - and I swear at least 50 people were on the dance floor all night. From Nick coming into the crowd to sing our favorite songs with us, performing on the spot adjustments to schedule and speeches, and to letting my parents, musicians themselves, join in on some of the performance, American Midnight went above and beyond to make our wedding day special. I can't recommend them enough. Nick will get to know you, and make your wedding exactly what you want it to be, far beyond the scope of running music all night. I want to thank him and the band for doing such an amazing job with our special day, and I sincerely recommend that you hire them for your wedding. We recently hosted our wedding at the Boston Public Library (July 2024). Nick and the American Midnight team curated all of the music for our entire evening. We could not have asked for a better performance and outcome. From the very beginning, Nick guided us through all music selection along with the entire planning process. From the beginning of our planning, we knew we wanted a live band for our wedding. We also wanted a live band that would engage the crowd and capture their attention - fun yet professional with a great sound. American Midnight is that band. Nick, the band leader is a joy to work with because he kept the stressful planning process fun while also making sure that all of the details involved with planning your ceremony music (if desired), cocktail hour, and of course reception were covered. Also, we appreciated that he will meet with you as many times as needed to make sure that you are content with every component of your day! We trusted his judgement every step of the way, including adding the tone setter song after our first dance. If you're unsure - just do it because it really adds a unique touch and was a quick way to get everyone up and moving before the reception! American Midnight made sure that we had the most incredible night of our lives at every turn at the wedding. I also had this unique idea for me, my sister and mom to perform a surprise song along with American Midnight for my husband. The band was totally on board to accommodate this request and even had 3 microphones ready for me, my sister and mom when it was time to perform! So if you have any unique ideas to incorporate into your big day, American Midnight is your band. Thank you to Nick and all of the band members for being part of our big day. We also LOVE the reel video that you made for our wedding; thank you! That was another perk that we had no idea that they were creating until after. We didn't have a videographer so it was amazing to see the whole night wrapped up into a video! That in a nutshell shows how American Midnight goes above and beyond as a wedding band.

I can honestly say hiring American Midnight for our wedding was the best decision we could’ve made. The night totally exceeded my expectations. Their energy and variety got family members on the dancefloor that I've NEVER seen on the dancefloor at other weddings. American midnight band is AMAZING! They outdid theirselves at our wedding. From the diligent planning process to final execution, Nick and his team single handedly made our day the best day ever! The dance floor was full all night and they even got people who we have never seen dancing up on the dance floor. From the mic’d up officiant to an acoustic cocktail hour to an amazing reception, this band seriously knows how to crush it! When searching for a band we did not know how lucky we would get to have them available for our date, we cannot recommend them enough and if they have availability you need to book them ASAP!

Book American Midnight now, while they’re still available, then finish reading this review! Nick and American Midnight were the very first vendor we booked and we couldn’t have made a better choice. Nick worked with us throughout the entire year-long planning process, knowing that we were largely planning our own wedding in a destination location, and scheduled several planning calls with us to make sure we were thinking through all angles of the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. He’s a thorough, thoughtful professional and is an absolute joy to collaborate with. Not to mention, he’s an incredibly talented musician and emcee! Nick and the band accommodated our wish to host a second line parade from our ceremony patio to our cocktail hour space, which meant his band members researched and practiced a completely new routine to incorporate into our wedding day, and they knocked it out of the park! If ours was the first second line Burlington ever witnessed, then the Queen City got a hell of an introduction. Nick did a wonderful job emcee’ing our event from start to finish, even stepping up and improvising when an unexpected delay occurred at the start of our ceremony (we had to wait for the Ethan Allen cruise line to blow its horn when it launched just after 6 pm before we could begin, and the ship ran a few minutes late), to the effect that none of our guests noticed the delay. Too many people to count have texted or told us in person that American Midnight was the best band they’ve ever seen play at a wedding. And they’re right! American Midnight played all the essential songs we requested of them and they read the room perfectly—they knew how to curate the right vibe to make sure the dance floor was packed the entire night. Oh and on top of everything else, they put together a highlight reel of our entire wedding event for social media, the next day, so we immediately were able to relive the best moments and share them with our friends and family, while the memory was still fresh. American Midnight Band is INCREDIBLE! Where do we even begin?? If you’re considering getting a band for your wedding, we HIGHLY recommend them! We knew we liked them after listening to some of their stuff online, but our first Zoom meeting with Nick sealed the deal. Nick’s energy and excitement were contagious. Our guests described him as the “ultimate hype man”! At the same time, he was very professional, organized, and transparent throughout the whole planning process. We were so happy we decided to go with the 8-piece band with the full brass section – they sounded awesome and really added to the energy level all night. Besides being incredibly talented musicians and entertainers, AMB stands out for their willingness to work with you to make your reception customized and special to you. Less than a month before our wedding, we decided we wanted to extend our reception by 30 minutes. AMB gave us an enthusiastic “yes” and still didn’t take a break the whole evening! When we wanted a keyboard/guitar duo for our cocktail hour, instead of two guitars, AMB said “you got it”! They even learned a song for us because it was one of my husband’s college friend group’s favorite songs; it was definitely one of the highlights of the night. We can’t forget to mention the lead female singer Carley – she and Nick truly know how to keep your dance floor packed all night long! They say a band or DJ can make or break your wedding reception – we are here to say (or yell from the rooftops) American Midnight Band MAKES your wedding reception! We loved them, our guests loved them, you’ll love them!

Where to begin with this group of amazing people! Nick and his crew of EXTREMELY talented musicians not only provided an EXCELLENT evening of show stopping entertainment with everyone on the dance floor from start to finish but went above and beyond from the moment we booked them! When the weather took a turn for the worst American Midnight stepped up to the plate and helped us coordinate and facilitate what otherwise would have been a disaster. If you’re on the fence about your entertainment look no further! American Midnight hit it out of the park and then some! Five stars is not enough stars!!!

American Midnight was the best decision we made for our wedding! The band was very communicative leading up to the wedding and was available to answer any and all questions. They kept the crowd extremely entertained and packed the dance floor all night long. We ran into issues with weather and received little support from the venue, but Nick and his band members stepped in and got the show on the road. They created organization in chaos and made sure my husband and I were happy and taken care of throughout the entire night. I cannot say enough good things about them.

When I got engaged 18 months ago I knew that there was going to be many decisions to make and picking American midnight was seriously THE best decision we made. After sampling bands on the knot for about 3 hours I decided to reach out to nick. All my vendors were amazing but something about nick really resonated with me. Nick truly made the wedding planning process so seamless. Planning a wedding is no easy feat but nick made it a little easier. He goes above and beyond for his couples. My husband and i were feeling so defeated during the planning process when my father in law became terminally ill. We met with nick and he really lifted our spirits so high and helped us get excited for a big day. The week before the wedding nick met with me for 3 hours ( for the 4th time) went through everything with me and even chatted with my family. I had a few unique touches I wanted to add to the day and nick helped execute them perfectly.As I type this I am laying in bed feeling so sad that the best day of my life has come to an end. Nick and the band made the wedding. When I say the dance floor was packed from beginning to end I'm not exaggerating. All of our guests have been raving about our special day and the first thing they say is how freakin awesome the band was. Nick- thank you so much for everything you did for Jack and I. I am so grateful that we crossed paths with you. You are a wonderful human being. I wish I could replay this night for the rest of my life but I'm going to have to see them at landsdowne to get my fix. American midnight is so fun and so talented. There was one thing in our wedding that really stood out for everyone who attended. It wasn't the venue, the food, the speeches (although maybe because they were especially good), no there is one thing everyone who attended absolutely raves about weeks later, and that was our band! Nick knows exactly what to play, when to play it, and man does American Midnight play well! Nick spent over 8 hours with us planning on calls to get each little detail perfect. He guided us through many of our hard to decide wedding decisions better than a wedding planner could have. I cannot stress enough how hiring this band will be the greatest decision you make regarding your wedding. It goes picking the right person to marry, picking American Midnight to play the wedding and Nick to MC, then the rest of all your wedding decisions. They are that good. You like oldies? they play em for your family. But wait till that last 30 mins of your wedding, they will bring out everything you and your friends listened too in high school and middle school. A swarm of nostalgia will hit you as you scream along to the greatest songs of our generation, and Jimmy Shreds away on guitar, Carly croons away at vocals and Nick makes sure that every last person on the dancefloor is having the time of their life. I don't know the last time I had as much fun as I did on my wedding night. And I'm not saying that because it was the best day of my life, but Nick and American Midnight were so exceptional, and so much fun, that like I said earlier everyone who came asked how to book them for their own weddings and told us it was the best band they have ever heard. This is a team of rockstars, the energy that Nick and his band brings is unrivaled, you won't see this much enthusiasm and love for what they do in other bands. If you are on the fence, just book them immediately. They will make your perfect day fun for everyone in attendance. If you like to plan every little detail, Nick will do that with you. If you like to let the band decide, they will decide and it will be the right decision always. They have experience both musically, and wedding wise. You can ask them questions and get answers that translate into a better experience for both you and your guests. I could continue raving for more that 3500 words but to put in summary what I liked the most about our band I'll mention 3 final things. Nick is the best MC and planner I have ever met in my life. The band has so much energy, its like they're playing on warped tour. Finally, I jumped and danced and sang and shouted so much that I tore my pants on the dance floor on my wedding night. So book American Midnight right now, and bring a sewing kit just in case. Thank you to everyone in the band, especially Nick for putting up with our crazy planning and making the best day of my night also the best party of my life, that I doubt will ever be topped.

When we started wedding planning my husband and I were both really set on making sure we had a top notch wedding band, it was a huge priority for us to be dancing the night away with our guests having an amazing time at the reception. Since the band was a priority for us we did a lot of research and had high expectations for what we wanted from our wedding band. Wedding planning can be stressful and expensive so we really wanted high quality results. American midnight exceeded every single one of our high expectations for what our wedding band could possibly be. Nick is not only an amazing musician but he is also an incredible MC who had even people I never thought would dance dancing the night away. Nick and the band are also amazing problem solvers- it POURED on our wedding day and they made sure all the audio for our outdoors ceremony went off without any concerns. Nick also gives incredible wedding advice and is overall an amazing person that is so enjoyable to chat with throughout the time leading up to your big day. Carley, Marie, Dylan, Zach, Barry, and Jimmy are all equally as incredibly talented musicians and equally amazing human beings. Working with American midnight was hands down the highlight of our wedding planning experience. After one conversation with the band you can tell they love what they do and they do it INCREDIBLY well. Our guests will not stop talking about how incredible the band was and how much fun Nick made the reception. I don’t even know where to begin. Nick and his amazing team/band were by far the BEST decision we made for our wedding. Nick was exceptional from the first phone conversation all the way to the last song they played. Our venue was difficult with allowing amplified music which was a HUGE let down for me and my fiancé. Nick stepped up to the bat for us and took time out of his busy week to set up a zoom call with the venue and advocate for amplified music. He was successful in convincing them (which has never been done before at our venue) and truly saved our wedding. Nick was so engaging and had the best energy all night. Him and his band members interacted with the crowd which was so special. Our guests were coming up to us ALL night telling us how amazing our band was and asking for their contact information. They had everyone of all ages up on the dance floor for the entire night. I wish I could give them 100 stars to this amazing group. I wouldn’t even think twice if I had to book another event with music and/or if I had to give someone a recommendation for wedding music. American Midnight truly made our wedding and was the highlight for us and all of our guests! If you are looking for an OUTSTANDING wedding experience, look no further.

5 stars honestly doesn’t even cut it with these guys they were a 10/10 incredible. They made our entire wedding. Nick was not only extremely organized and very detail oriented throughout planning but also genuinely cared about our day and made us feel confident and calm while hyping us up at the same time! The talent these guys have is unbelievable and every single guest came up to us throughout the night absolutely raving about the band. The dance floor was packed the entire night from the moment they started playing to the moment they stopped. Out of all our vendors American midnight was hands down the best one. Seriously if you book them for your wedding you absolutely won’t regret it and if you don’t you absolutely will regret it, they are literally that good!

American Midnight was one of the singular best decisions we made for our wedding. Do not underestimate your band! This skilled group of musicians got everyone on the dance floor from the beginning and - even more impressive - kept them all there until the very end. They always kept the music going, and the music was always inclusive. But while this band was excellent, what made them well above par is when our generator became overwhelmed (we had a home wedding). The way this talented, smart, and very smooth band handled a moment where our power went out (and the speakers as part of it!) was nothing short of beautiful. They remained calm and laid out candles on the dance floor and led a sing along with everyone. It was not only impressive, it was one of our favorite parts of the night. We will always remember those candles on the dance floor and all of our friends and family singing. They never panicked. They just made something really beautiful happen out of something that really could have stalled our party. I want to do another event. Only to have an excuse to hire American Midnight again. They brought people of all ages to the dance floor and even strangers danced together. They were cheerful, calm, and in party-mode. Just awesome. If you do not hire American Midnight, you are seriously missing out.

We had American Midnight play at our wedding and oh my goodness, they knocked it out of Fenway! First of all, although we married in Boston, we live in California. Their communication was excellent. Nick was always checking in, we never had to wonder what was going on. When the day finally came, they rocked the yacht (club). They made our small intimate wedding feel like it was the Super Bowl. Nick was a great hype man, kept the energy level high throughout the entire event. It felt like our own personal concert. The musicians and vocalists were amazing. They played all the songs we wanted and none of the songs we didn’t. 10/10 would throw a party again just so that we could have them there again. All of our guests gave us compliments on our band. They had everyone, from the kids to grandma out on the floor. They were so professional throughout the entire process. They are AMAZING!!!!

American midnight played our wedding reception recently. They were amazing!! Our guests are all raving about how much fun they had and how good the band was. They really made the night! Also, Nick was super helpful in helping us plan everything and figure out a timeline. He was also really aware of making sure that the event felt like us. American Midnight was spectacular at our wedding reception! Not only are they musically talented, but they also brought an incredible energy to the night that made all of our guests get on the dance floor and have a blast. American Midnight was incredible! I can’t write enough here about how awesome our experience was from top to bottom. During our first chat Nick promised an “all-inclusive service” covering A/V, MC services, ceremony music and entertainment. They delivered on all aspects. I’m going to break of this review into section- but the too long didn’t read is you won’t regret hiring American Midnight for your wedding. We communicated with Nick the most out of all our vendors because he was the most helpful and gave us excellent guidance on wedding facets we hadn’t considered (i.e. flow of the event). We especially appreciated his thoughtful suggestions on what he thought worked or would be difficult to accomplish, while balancing our vision for the evening. He was probably too helpful because we had him on multiple hours long zoom sessions. The day of was perfect. Nick is an excellent M/C. He really knows how to get the energy in the room up! I appreciated his position attitude throughout the day even when we were running a behind schedule. We got cold feet about hiring a band because we all know it’s more expensive than DJ services. If you have a group, like ours, where you think no one is going to dance. Our guests couldn’t stop dancing! They were just incredible- played through the entire night for us (knowing we were short on time) and kept the energy up no matter how many guests were on the dance floor! Highly professional and fun- they made our wedding an event we won’t forget!

American Midnight was unbelievable from the moment that we contacted Nick through their final encore on the dance floor! We truly had the best night of our lives and American Midnight keeping our guests dancing all night was a huge part of that. In addition to sounding amazing, they took the time to sit down with us and get a sense of our vibe and our vision for the wedding and just absolutely nailed it! The floor at our wedding was literally bouncing (admittedly slightly alarming at first for my lawyer brain). We had a pretty big crowd of 260 and everyone of all ages has been raving about how good the band was - cannot recommend Nick and American Midnight highly enough!

American Midnight is simply the ultimate modern wedding band. If you want your wedding to be an all time great party for your guests, skip the DJ and hire American Midnight. From meeting with Nick before hiring the band all the way through to our big night, every part of working with American Midnight was smooth, friendly, and professional. Some of the important things American Midnight did exceptionally well include: -Nick as an emcee. Simply put Nick kills it as an emcee. He somehow finds a way to be energetic and engage the crowd without being over the top and making everyone roll their eyes. It makes a huge difference for things like introductions and announcements. Multiple guests at the wedding actually asked if we were friends with Nick before the wedding even though we only met him while interviewing him. -The Quality of music. These guys and girls can flat out play. Every single member of the band was a master at their instrument and they played incredibly well together as a band. You can clearly tell this is a band that plays together as one unit in all their shows and not one of those wedding bands where everyone in the band just randomly get mashed together every week for events. Friends and family who I talked to after the wedding all raved about the band. Multiple people even asked how we were able to afford them because they assumed they cost two or three times more than we paid. -The setlist. Nick took lots of time with us to learn our musical preferences and create an awesome setlist. From starting the night with Jackson 5 "Want you Back" to get everyone up through to The Killers "Mr. Brightside" late in the night when the moment called for a sing along, the band brought energy and got everyone dancing. In closing, I simply can't recommend this band enough. You will not regret making them part of your big day.

We found American Midnight while looking for wedding bands online during peak COVID. We thought their samples online were very good and hired them. After meeting with Nick via video chat we knew we made the right choice. He is incredibly nice and charismatic. His personality really comes out as an MC and he’s exactly who you want hosting your wedding. Once COVID restrictions were eased a little we were finally able to see the band live. It was then we found out the online samples did little justice for the actual band. They collectively are amazing. The vocals, the strings, the brass, the saxophone, even the sound guy are terrific. In a crowded, loud, Boston bar their talents showed through and we knew we made the right choice. Now the wedding. Nick was under the weather and couldn’t make it, so he sent Carly in his place. We knew right away after briefly meeting her we were still in good hands and Carly put on one of the best shows our guests had ever seen. We had multiple guests ask us where we found our band and complement us on having possibly “the best wedding band they’ve ever heard”. They truly provided an absolutely magical night and we’d hire them again in a heartbeat. As a side note, we chose the 8 piece band package. For the quality of band American Midnight is they are very reasonably priced. We could hardly believe it when we compared to other wedding bands. They were absolutely worth every penny and so much more. We cannot thank them enough.

Nick the band leader is incredible, and everything will run just the way you ask him to do it. He is very organized and helped us think through all the options and choices for every point in the day when there was music, introductions, toasts, and more. He and the whole band brought incredible energy to our wedding and got everyone dancing right from the start! Every person at the wedding told us how amazing the band was and was incredibly impressed by their range, from old standards to newer hits. The older crowd were amazed to see the younger generation dancing to some of their favorite songs! Hiring American Midnight was one of the best choices we made for our wedding, and we got so much value from Nick's advice and MC services, on top of an incredible live band. Hire them!

Great musicians who know how to play the room! Nick was by far one of our favorite wedding vendors we worked with, always encouraging and reassuring. All our wedding guests commented "What a great band!" the following morning - even those who didn't dance! They were personable, engaging, and very skilled. Would highly recommend them!

Nick and the rest of the band have such a fantastic energy about everything they do. If you’re worried that your wedding will be a little sleepy or people will be bored by the same old wedding songs, get this band. We had a small wedding, and we were pessimistic about how much dancing there would be. Then, when the band started rocking out, and our most stuck in the mud relatives couldn’t help but get out there and move, we realized that wasn’t a problem with American Midnight. The old wedding standards sounded alive and original, and their range with newer songs and different genres was really impressive. I should also mention that Nick doubles as a great MC for your reception who will bring a lot of genuine enthusiasm without dominating the proceedings. On top of all that, there is 0 pressure to make a million choices with this band - if you want to have one quick meeting and let them decide the set list, that’s fine with them. But if you spend some time with them to make it personal, you won’t regret it, since they’re a joy to work with.

Choosing American Midnight was not only one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, but one of our all time best! One of the saddest parts of our wedding being over is that we aren’t working with them anymore! Still trying to convince them to do every future life event for us. From planning out our day and offering professional opinions and guidance, to setting up lessons with Jimmy so my dad could practice and perform with them at the reception, to Carleigh rehearsing with 2 friends ahead of time for our bridesmaids procession song, Nick was an absolute GEM! We had to move our wedding twice due to the pandemic, and we always made sure we still had them on our team. Nick made it easy and stress free. We never once worried about our entertainment and anytime we were spiraling or stressed, Nick would meet with us and help ease our minds. We have gotten so many compliments on their performance, they truly helped make it the party we wanted! I will continue to sing their praises anytime to anyone! Hire them, you won’t regret it! The #1 best decision we made about our wedding was booking American Midnight! Their talent and energy was electric the entire time and all our guests cannot stop talking about how amazing they were! From our first conversation we knew the band genuinely cared about the vision and vibe we wanted for our day. Especially Nick, who took the time to get to know us and supported us every step of the way. He made the whole experience so fun. Performing our first dance song live is a moment I will never forget, which is something we asked them to do just weeks before the wedding and they made it happen! American Midnight CRUSHED IT at our wedding. We went with the 6-piece band and it was such a good choice. They had everyone on the dance floor the whole time and the most popular question of the night was “Where did you find these guys!? They’re amazing!”. Right from the start, we knew we made the right choice. Nick did an amazing job communicating with us and taking the pressure off of everything. He takes the time to get to know you and your story and feels like an old friend at the end. When it came to the wedding day, he did a great job handling the music for our ceremony (in a really tricky setting!) and then crushed it at the reception. We couldn’t be happier with our decision and would 100% recommend them to anyone.

American Midnight took our wedding to the next level. From the start, Nick told us we were the boss. We thought he was kidding but he meant it! American Midnight was so accommodating. They worked with us ahead of time to play the songs and genres we wanted at no extra charge! They even accommodated last minute changes the week of the wedding. Everything is so easy with Nick! He is so easy to talk to and easy to work with. He can give a ton of guidance and help for first time brides like myself – but he also got excited about our nontraditional vision and ideas too. We could not have asked for a more talented band. We went with the 6-piece band package with a Saxophonist and all 6 of them are the real deal! We love American Midnight!!

We can’t say enough good things about Nick and American Midnight! We hired them for our wedding last year and they blew everyone away! They had the dance floor packed from the beginning to the end of the night. The energy and excitement just pours out of this group. We could tell it’s all genuine excitement from when we first talked to Nick - and you can see it genuinely when the band performs too! Though they gave us the option to choose a few songs, we wanted them to select all the songs – It worked perfectly. They played a perfect variety of music our guests of all ages loved. Nick was professional, prepared, but so easy to work with. He was lots of fun to plan a wedding with! He definitely helped us relax knowing everything was in good hands.

American Midnight was above and beyond what we expecting from hiring a wedding band! The best band we’ve seen at any wedding hands down! Our guests are still talking about how great the band was. They were very interactive with us, avoiding anything cheesy, but still got all our guests out on the dance floor the whole night. Right from my first meeting with Nick I knew they would be a blast. He has so much energy and excitement, and so does the band! We definitely recommend American Midnight to anyone reading this!

Nick made the whole process of coordinating a band a breeze, allowing us time to manage the other aspects of our wedding to have a perfect day. When Covid-19 hit and our original plans had to change, they were very professional and reasonable in coming up with alternatives. I will say from experience this is not how all vendors respond when faced with challenges like this so I was very impressed. I felt Nick provided the perfect amount of communication- just enough so we felt very confident that we were all on the same page, but not enough to where it was too much to handle/manage with everything else on our plate. As far as the actual day went, American Midnight put on a great show and played everything we wanted while avoiding the songs we didn't. They were also awesome enough to let us sing a song karaoke-style at the end of the night before they finished packing up, which was definitely a highlight! I only heard good things afterwards from our guests. We couldn't be happier with how things turned out given all the challenges of 2020, and would highly recommend using American Midnight for your event!

My Wife and I hired American Midnight for our NYE wedding in York, ME, after seeing them perform live at a local restaurant in Portsmouth, NH. Each member of the band is amazingly talented in their own right and We can’t speak highly enough of Nick! Nick was in constant communication throughout the entire wedding planning process and spent multiple hours on the phone with us the months and days leading up to the wedding. He is a perfectionist who walked us through the entire night , song suggestions, time frames, coordinated with our wedding coordinator and acoustic guitar player who played during the ceremony. The night went just as we had talked about even playing our nontraditional wedding “must plays” and bringing down the house. American Midnight played for several hours straight before taking a brief break, more so to give our guest a rest from dancing. They DJ throughout the night when not playing and Nick really pumped up the crowd giving us the exact NYE party vibe that we wanted! At midnight they shot off confetti guns , really adding to the NYE feel. I have been to many weddings with bands and the general feel is a band on stage that is somewhat “self promoting “saying their band name 100 times throughout the night. This was the opposite with American Midnight, they made the night 100 percent about us and our guests often time’s coming out to dance and sing with us and making sure my wife and I were out there for our “must play” songs. There was no self promoting to the point were we had guests constantly asking what their name was. Believe me everyone knew American Midnight by the end of the night ! It has been days since the wedding and the Congratulatory text and calls are still coming in and the band has been brought up each time. If you get a chance to lock American Midnight up for your wedding, do it! If not see if you can see them preform somewhere live.

Hiring Midnight was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We wanted a couple of different genres at our reception. Some Motown, Pop, and classic rock and they delivered. They played everything from Michael Jackson, to Justin Timberlake, to Tom Petty. Any song or style we could think of, they already knew how to play it. They don't just play "their set" either. They took tons of input from us to figure out exactly what we wanted. They even took a couple of requests from us ahead of time. We opted for the 8 piece band, which adds a brass section and we definitely recommend it for the styles we wanted. They told us they play together every week and it definitely shows. They were so tight and put on an amazing show! I don't think anyone left the dance floor from the start!

Wow. This band does it all. They covered our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Our ceremony was absolutely perfect because of them. They offered to either have DJ’ed playlist music or live musicians. We elected to go with an acoustic guitar player and it set the ambiance perfectly. We had them DJ’ed our cocktail hour with a playlist. While they let us pick a playlist if we wanted, we were unsure about which music was best and asked them to choose – That was really smart – they really know how to read a room and set the mood. Again, the atmosphere was perfect. Somehow the reception was even better. I looked hard for an MC I could trust not to be corny and I am so glad I found American Midnight. They kept every wired the whole time. I don’t think anyone left the dance floor!! Recommend 1000% !!

Do yourself a favor, hire American Midnight now. They are the best value on The Knot. Nick is unlike any vendor we worked with. They have really reasonable prices and have so many services and packages. Nick is really fast at responding and checked in with us frequently. He was the easiest, most accommodating person we talked to by far. He has a ton of energy and passion for weddings and knows so much. This band loves what they do and it shows. One of the most important things to us was a band - it controls the vibe of the wedding and is the #1 thing that determines whether your guests had fun. The ceremony was beautiful, the cocktail hour was classy, and the reception was a non-stop party. Everyone danced the entire time. Hire them!

SO GOOD!! We had seen American Midnight at another wedding and knew we had to have them for our wedding. After we got engaged, we reached out right away to make sure they were available. They really are THAT good. Nick is so refreshing to work with. He answers so promptly and was always available for us. Nick helped us plan parts of the wedding, and helped us with the flow and process. Come the actual wedding, they knocked everything out of the park. This band is full of true, actual professionals. Ridiculously talented, and just so much fun. By far most of the compliments about our wedding was about American Midnight.
