endant did not set up the agreed-upon photobooth backdrop at all before the reception began. Instead of the white backdrop we contracted for, she used a wooden divider that we had placed solely to hide the catering team’s loading tables. As a result, the photos from the first half of our wedding look absolutely terrible. I didn’t notice this immediately because I was, understandably, busy being the bride. Once I did realize what was happening, I had to send a bridesmaid to ask the attendant to fix it—something that should never have been my responsibility. Even after the backdrop was finally put up, it was done incorrectly, leaving a playground clearly visible in the top right corner of the photos for the rest of the night. There was no attempt to correct this before the wedding ended. These photos are permanent keepsakes for our guests, and many of them are simply unusable. As if that weren’t enough, at the start of our reception, I received an email with an additional invoice for an “outdoor setup fee.” At no point was I asked whether my wedding was outdoors—but in my email correspondence with Nora, I explicitly stated that the wedding was under a tent, which very obviously implies an outdoor setting. Being blindsided with extra charges immediately during my reception and having to dispute them after my honeymoon was incredibly upsetting and completely unprofessional. On top of that, the final photo template used at the wedding was not the one I approved after months of back-and-forth with Nora. The color was wrong, meaning every single print our guests received was incorrect. Now every time I look at our prints, all I feel is disappointment rather than remember the joy of our wedding. After the wedding, I spent weeks emailing Nora detailing all of these issues. The response I received was a generic, dismissive message after stating the additional fee would be waived: “Please know that your feedback is taken seriously, and we are reviewing our internal process to prevent this from happening in the future.” There was no attempt to make things right—no refund, no discount, no reprints, no accountability whatsoever. I am severely disappointed in the quality, professionalism, and customer service of American Photobooth & 360 Booth. They ruined the photobooth experience at our wedding, and I would never use them again or recommend them to anyone. As a final note for anyone who cares about aesthetics: despite how their marketing presents it, the photobooth setup is not a sleek, all-in-one stand with a built-in ring light. It’s a standard Canon or Nikon camera with a separate ring light attached, which looks cheap and underwhelming in person. Save yourself the stress and disappointment—look elsewhere.
