I had a great time at this museum. If You are a fan of old cars, or you are a fan of History, or like me a fan of both, then this place is for you. The history associated with each of the vehicles is fascinating. I found the exhibits to be enga...
ging. Though you are not allowed to sit in the cars (you are allowed to do this at the Martin Auto museum in Glendale, Arizona), the exhibits are still enjoyable. There is also an opportunity to virtually race (for a fee) in a race car simulator which is pretty cool. In addition, there is a slot car race track. Fun can be had by everyone. Definitely worth seeing if you are in Tacoma.

My son and I loved this museum. We made it there early and we had it almost to ourselves for a bit. There are aooo many cars from all over time. From the model T to super cars nowadays. The museum is clean and the guide was very kind to us, sho...
wing us all the cars and giving us some details on some of the vehicles. In the lower level, there is space for kids to play. From space to draw, to a ramp for kids to drop cars, and a map of the USA with all major highways.
This museum is such a treat. I’ll be coming back, and my toddler was so tired he slept all the way back home! It is a must see!

Overall it was a great fieldtrip with my son's 3rd grade class. The hosts were awesome and the structure of our tour was well put together. It was a delightful experience and our guide was full of info about all the automobiles. A little too mu...
ch for all the kids to take in and stay focused but all the adults were very much appreciative of the staff and how they maintained throughout our fieldtrip today. 😊

Beautiful cars with aesthetically pleasing and informative displays. The new driving simulators are worth the affordable cost. We spent 2.5 hours there including a snack break at the café (the cafe wasn't the highlight of the visit, they were o...
ut of several items, the tables and floor were dirty, and the staff didn't seem to want to be there). The rest of the facility was immaculate, including the restrooms. I highly recommend it!

We had such a great time visiting this car museum. Everything was very clean and well taken care of, which made it even more enjoyable to walk through and really take everything in. It was a fun experience overall—there’s a lot to see, and it’s...
all laid out in a way that keeps things interesting.
One of the highlights for us was a volunteer named Greg. He was incredibly charismatic and added so much to the visit. He shared stories and details about the vehicles that we definitely would have overlooked on our own. He was an absolute hoot and made the experience feel more personal and memorable.
If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. It’s very cost-efficient, fun, and genuinely interesting. And if you love cars, this place is a must-visit.
