Ami is so kind and knows exactly what she is doing. Planning a wedding and booking vendors from Pittsburgh, I was a little nervous because I couldn't do a trial. I showed her a picture of a hairstyle I liked on my phone, and before I knew it, my hair was done exactly like the photo after just showing her it for maybe 30 seconds! Everyone else who got their hair and make-up done for the wedding was also very pleased. I highly recommend Ami!

If you are going to book Ami I very much suggest doing a trial before your wedding day. I was unable to do this because I was an out of town bride and it ended up going poorly. Ami did not show me my makeup throughout the process and when I was shown the final product my eye makeup was much more intense than I wanted and was honestly just way too much. When I asked her to scale it back she kept saying she had never done that before (which honestly freaked me out) and she ended up taking off a lot of my airbrush foundation with the eye makeup, which she then could not fix because she had already used the setting powder on my face. Ami had not budgeted any time for mistakes in a tight timeline, so I ended up fixing my own eye makeup and touching up my own foundation myself in the end so I would not be late to my own ceremony. Many of my bridesmaids already had their eye makeup smudging before the ceremony even happened as well. Ami was very upset that I was unhappy with my makeup and ended up crying while her husband packed up her equipment. It was very stressful for everyone involved and I was unable to handle her emotions on top of my own at the time.

Ami is not only a talented artist (THE BEST), but she is truly a beautiful and amazing person and someone I am so lucky to have met / worked with. She is full of positive energy and sunshine and definitely the calming force to a stressful, but exciting day!! ANY BRIDE would be so fortunate to have Ami and her helpful husband, Yu… for their big day. This was our first time trying 'airbrushed makeup...' WOW, the results were wonderful! This will last for the entire ceremony and reception! Loved this style!! Ami... Thanks for making me, my friends, my mother, daughter, and sister, feel like a million bucks (who needs the Powerball!?!) So many compliments on our hair and makeup… thanks to Ami’s beautiful work!! She puts everyone at ease, you almost do not realize she is working on you! I absolutely love Ami! She was very responsive on all my emails and very easy to work with. I think I had to change my contract so many times and she was able to change it every time with ease. We scheduled my hair and makeup trial and we clicked. She was so easy to talk to and worked with me to get my perfect look. I had some changes I wanted to do for the wedding, and she pulled it off. She created a wonderful look for all my bridesmaid and spent the whole day with us perfecting our hair and makeup. We ran a little bit over our time, but she generously stayed for us so all of my bridesmaids was perfect for the ceremony. I would highly recommend Ami. You can't go wrong!
