One of the best decisions I made for my wedding was hiring Ami and her team! Her laid-back and confident personality was exactly what I was looking for and meshed perfectly with our family full of women who like to take charge! She turned every setting into an opportunity from parking lots to stone brick walls and I could not have been happier! She completely captures the day in ways I would have never imagined. My husband is not the world's biggest fan of taking pictures and she managed to capture all of our natural moments of smile and laughter throughout the day which is exactly what I was hoping for! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!!! The entire experience that Ami at Ooh La La Boudoir provided me was exceptional and top notch! I never would have pictured myself doing a boudoir photography shoot but I wanted to try it and surprise my future husband with some photos the night before our wedding! What started as an opportunity to gift this experience to someone else ended up as a huge gift to myself! The entire experience from the start exceeded my expectations, was super organized, and made me feel at ease. I was connected with various people on Ami’s team prior to the shoot, received some secrets from Ami to get ready for my shoot, and as time went on, my nerves built into excitement. I thought I might need to be a certain weight or a certain size to do this but as I got closer and figured out what I would wear, I became more and more confident in my own skin. That became a huge priceless gift in of itself! The day of the shoot I met with an amazing down to earth girl, Lindsay, who did my hair and makeup and who I instantly felt really comfortable around. She listened to what I was hoping for with my hair and makeup look and I was pleasantly surprised that I looked just like I would hope for and so much more! Going over outfits first and then the shoot was comfortable and VERY FUN! She knew what was important to me, talked me through everything, and I was excited as she shared some creative ideas with me. I never would have guessed how HAPPY I would have felt during the shoot but I did. The impact this experience has had on me has been beyond words. This is one of the best decisions I have ever made and I will carry the feelings of self-confidence and happiness with me for a very long time! What I thought was just a gift for him became so much more for me!
