Amigo Event Rentals

Amigo Party Rentals provided our chuppah, chairs, tables, table cloths, and a large tub for cold drinks for our outdoor wedding in Santa Barbara on 10/20/19. We found them with a recommendation from our florist, Bouavon at Tangled Lotus, who had worked with Amigo at another wedding. We talked to many rentals companies in the Santa Barbara/Ventura area, but Amigo was the only one who had everything we needed (especially a chuppah). They were very easy to work with, even as we added a few rentals as the wedding day approached. On the day of the ceremony, they were on time and very professional. I definitely recommend Amigo Party Rentals!

Amigos was good and easy to work with, very accommodating., responsive and professional. Everything went off without a hitch. However, they are sticklers for their policies and don't budge at all even on minor issues or in the name of customer service. They quote the letter of the contract and stick to it, with zero exceptions. As an example, we spent thousands with them renting everything from tables, chairs, silverware, prep equipment etc. We must have misplaced 11 items (9 spoons and a couple of pans). They charged us for the missing items, and despite several conversations with their management, they stood their ground, despite the fact that we weren't able to verify or sign for the delivery so can't verify if those items were even delivered. It's a pretty minor charge and we shouldn't have even bothered with it given what we spent overall, but I was very disappointed with how they handled it at the end by not even trying to work with us. So, if you're going to contract with them, they will deliver as promised but don't expect any favors if anything goes missing or wrong.

Amigo was great and easy to work with. We worked with Yadira who was beyond professional and easy to work with when it came to making decisions. They were cost efficient and super accommodating when it came to all the changes I made in the beginning of planning. I highly recommend Amigo Party Rentals.

We used Amigo Party Rentals for all of our wedding rentals and they were awesome. Delivery and pick up were right on time and so efficient! I went in person to hand select all of the items and they were very accommodating and even ordered in extra items that I wanted. I also had some tables of my own that I wanted to use and they picked out the perfect sized linens for each one. I originally chose Amigo over Ventura Rentals simply because of the price and I will continue to use Amigo for all of my rental needs going forward. I definitely suggest using Amgio Party Rentals

Amigo did a fantastic job for my wedding. They were consummate professionals and exceeded our highest expectations for our backyard wedding. The biggest highlight was the lighting. We had considered trying to do it ourselves, but once we saw the amazing (not to mention strenuous) work that Amigo did, it became evident that our best decision was leaving that to the professionals. Highly recommended.

We met with several vendors before confidently deciding to use Amigo Party Rentals. They were organized, communicative, professional and priced fairly. They took care of set up and break down for us and Jesus and his team gave us the most memorable wedding imaginable.

Amigos was great for getting the chair rentals we needed for the ceremony. It was worth paying the additional fee to have them set up the chairs and take them down. No one has time for that on the day of the wedding, especially with how tedious it can be setting up the rows and how many chairs per row.... etc. Affordable and knowledgeable of the area, Amigo's was easy to work with and a reliable source. We did wish they could have taken the chairs down a little sooner afte rth eceremony so our wedding planner didn't have to wait for them to arrive. But all in all, it wasn't a problem. Would recommend using them !

Amigos is a wonderful rental company! We worked with Angelica, who was so helpful with everything! She was so thorough and always got back in touch with us right away. They are by far the best priced rental company in the area and the provide such excellent service. They dropped off and picked up everything for us for a small additional charged. We are so glad that we went with Amigos for our wedding rentals!

Amigo was a good company to work with for our wedding. We rented tables, chairs, and all of our plates/utensils/cups from them. They helped with table set-up, and were accommodating when we needed to change our order numbers. They delivered the items in a timely manner and were reasonably priced! They also had the best pricing I could find in the area for wood tables, if you're looking to add a rustic feel to your decor!

Got everything we wanted here! Very inexpensive! They had my wedding colors and everything! They delivered and set-up the dance floor! Great deal!

If you are getting married anywhere on the central coast look no further than amigo! The best prices by far!! Angelica was super helpful as I changed several things up until the wedding. But really the quality and the cost, there is no one that beats it! My rentals all had to be picked up that night as well and the fee for after hours was minimal. They are awesome!

We were overall impressed with Amigo Party Rentals, and especially happy with their customer service. We rented tables, chairs, linens, a tent, a dance floor, plates, glasses, and a few other things for our wedding this summer. Although we changed our minds a lot about what we wanted, and how many of each item we wanted, Jesus was patient with us. He responded quickly whenever we called or emailed. He offered advice when we asked but let us make our own decisions. I think the nicest thing that Jesus did was he honored the company’s prices from the time we first contacted him, even though prices were increased shortly after that. The crew arrived right on time and did a careful job setting up. We had only two small mix-ups. One was that we were short 6 chairs, but I called and Jesus himself came over almost immediately to deliver them. Another was that somehow with all our changes the forks got removed from our invoice. They didn’t notice the mistake, but neither did we until our caterers couldn’t find the forks. We were doing finger food, so it all worked out in the end, but I’m still not really sure how that happened. Other than these small issues, we were overall very pleased with Amigo Party Rentals and would recommend them. A local, family-owned business with great selection, reasonable prices, and wonderful customer service is hard to beat!

Amigo was GREAT! The level of flexibilty and responsiveness to my needs was above and beyond. I felt bad at times because I mad a lot of changes and then more changes but Amigo was always responsive, quick, and happy to help! Seriously VERY VERY happy. They were recommended and I am excited to share I have already recommended and will continue to!

We rented tables, chairs, and linens from Amigo. They were the first company to respond to our inquiry so we checked them out first. Their price was competitive, they had plenty of selection, and they were responsive to any questions we had or changes we needed to make leading up to our wedding. And...they showed up on time for drop off and pick up. I would definitely recommend Amigo. Jesus was great.
