Ami's Cakes and Confections

I'm not sure there is enough space to fully write how much my husband and I enjoyed working with Ami on our wedding day. Ami truly is, first of all, a spectacular human. She is absolutely the sweetest and most kind and thoughtful individual and I was so blessed and grateful to her for having worked with us. I am completely dairy intolerant and I have several guests who were gluten and/or dairy free and she made our entire dessert bar. We had everything from little cakes in cups, to cookies, to macaroons and she delivered the best product hands down! No one even knew that they were all dairy and gluten free. Her cakes are perfection in taste, and she even surprised the two of us with decorations on our cookies that were sentimental to the two of us. Everything was detailed out and she was by far one of our favorite vendors to work with. If something was not up to par with her level of expertise and perfection, she owned it and absolutely made up for it. But, I wish she lived out here so I could eat her desserts everyday. I truly love Ami and her cakes and everyone should hire her, regardless of dietary restrictions. SHE IS WORTH IT!

Ami is AMAZING at what she does! My husband and I aren't huge cake lovers, but Ami's delicious cake made us into cake lovers! We met her at the wedding show downtown and booked her as soon as we tried her samples. She has a hands on experience for you to try out a few flavors, choose which ones you want, and brainstorm what you want your wedding cake to look like. She is extremely professional and keeps everything very organized. The day of the wedding, we couldn't believe our eyes when we walked into the reception. Our cake was beautiful and just how we had described it to Ami during our consultation! All of our guests said they tried multiple flavors (we had 5!) and said they were all amazing. She is fantastic to work with and would highly recommend.

Trying to find good gluten free cakes was a bit tricky, but the cake from Ami's was wonderful. She was also well able to handle our odd request (a companion cube from Portal) for the design of the cake. It was a huge hit at the wedding and all the kids just had to have a piece. As well as our more Geeky friends and family.

One of our guest had Celiac disease so we decided to have gluten free cupcakes along with regular cake. We looked for gluten free cake baker online and found Ami. When we went to taste her gluten free cake, we were glad we found her because her cakes were really yummy and couldn't believe it's gluten free. She was very funny to work with, and she listened every single details we asked and did great job. The cupcakes were beautiful! It was more than we expected. The guest who needed gluten free cake was very happy. And everyone loved the cupcakes so when my husband and I went to get them, they were all gone!
