s, and our guests kept commenting on how good everything was. Several people told us it was the “best wedding food I’ve ever had,” and others said it was the best Indian food they’d had in recent memory.
The team was also thoughtful and professional throughout the planning process. When we had questions about allergens, they gave us clear information, which made it much easier to plan for our guests. The tasting experience was excellent as well, and they were generous enough to let us come back a second time to try additional dishes before finalizing the menu.
Overall, Amiya delivered outstanding food and a great experience from start to finish. We would highly recommend them for anyone looking for Indian catering, especially for a wedding or large event.

Abha herself made sure our parents with specific allergies had allergen free versions of the food to eat on the day of the wedding. We also asked Amiya to prepare some North Indian style brunch boxes for our family members before the wedding, which were a hit! Our family and friends still rave about how good the food at our wedding was - from aloo kati rolls, to hara bara kebabs and juicy chicken tikka!! Highly recommend Amiya.

Abha (the owner) is an absolute pleasure to work with and so accommodating and beyond helpful. She herself was present during my wedding day to ensure everything was taken care of. accommodating to our requests for multiple tastings, driving to Pittsburgh for a site visit, and making sure that our menu stayed unchanged regardless of any shortcomings of our venue. Amiya Restaurant exhibited phenomenal range of cuisine which included South Indian, Gujarati, North Indian, Mexican, Mediterranean, Indochinese, and the list goes on. Specifically, she also fulfilled our request for separate Jain food menu. Despite the extensive menu over multiple days and events, each and every single item was expertly prepared and gorgeously displayed just as it was during our tastings.
