ing in August 2019. I know I know...that was a long time ago (what can I say, I'm a bit of a procrastinator). My fiance and I are not the most comfortable in front of the camera, but from the very first time we met Amma put us at ease. She also did our engagement shoot in a completely new to her location (it held emotional significance to me and my fiance) and she was still able to get the most gorgeous photos both indoors and outdoors. We had such a great experience that we knew that we wanted her to shoot our wedding as well. Flash forward to August 2019. Leading up to the wedding we communicated with Amma often. She was always so responsive and helpful. I also have a huge extended family and we wanted to make sure we got photos with everyone on the day. We created a shoot list and Amma was able to wrangle 20-30 people and get every single shot we requested! She was the best partner on the day-of and made what could have been a very stressful day a breeze. After the fact, when it came time to create our wedding album Amma was extremely patient with me as I made my edits. The finished result was so gorgeous! A quick look at Amma's instagram account makes it clear that she is an amazing wedding photographer. What I cannot stress enough is how great she was in all other respects. Leading up to the wedding, she was prompt in responding to all of our questions and providing input on the venue. On the day of, she was extremely organized and helped us stay on schedule - this was no easy feat considering we had 20 people in our wedding party. She was also extremely familiar with Mystic and our venue, and helped select backdrops that were unique and visually stunning. After the wedding, we received our photos on time and were extremely satisfied. Needless to say, from start to finish, working with Amma was a great experience.

ooking at her wedding photography packages, we were very impressed with her pricing! Amma was super great about communication and answering all of our questions. Our first session with her was our engagement pictures, we were not sure where we wanted to do our photos, and she was super genuine in coming up with various locations that would give us the vibe we wanted. We ended up shooting at her recommendation, Spicer Mansion, and the setting was literally perfect! She asked us about our outfits, and was very interested in what we had for a “vision,” and did everything she could to make that dream come to life. At your first session, it is always a little awkward at first, but Amma made us feel so comfortable. We were laughing with her, and she made us feel so at ease - and it totally shows in our photos! You would never know that Adam was truly as nervous as he was! After our engagement session, Amma’s turn around for giving us the pictures was so fast! She shared 3 “sneak peek” pictures that we could share with our friends and families immediately, and then got us the final edits so quickly! She sent them via a zip drive so we had all the photos at our fingertips! After we saw the pictures for the engagement session, we decided to add the wedding photo album to our wedding package. Amma was super awesome in making that happen for us and did not penalize us, she gave us the price it would have been if we have picked the higher package - which was super sweet of her! We had heard feedback from so many other couples who did not order the album, so they never went through with printing one. We wanted to make sure that we had the money to do it and just order it ahead of time. I am so so so happy we did because after the wedding, the amount of money you really spent sinks in, and it is too much to bear thinking about spending any more! Before the wedding day Amma emailed us the timelines, had several conference calls with us, and was super organized about locations, times, and time needed to complete all the photo combinations we wanted. On the day of the wedding she was at our hotel early, she was so happy, kind, and got to work right away! Our family members and bridal party absolutely loved her and her bubbly personality! During the wedding she worked with the videographer, wedding planner, and my family! Amma was so kind, fun, and amazing to work with. Her personality is so warm and inviting that she felt like our friend by the end of the experience! In addition to that, her work is AMAZING. She is so amazing at posing you without “posing you” and catching those candid moments of joy and love that make the best memories. Furthermore, Amma sent us 4 "sneak peek" photos from our wedding day on the NIGHT OF OUR WEDDING DAY!!!! Her turn around was SO impressive and thoughtful!! We were so happy and could not wait to share them with our family and friends. I cannot imagine not having her for part of our special day. We love Amma so much, we are already know that when the time comes for family pictures, she will be the one shooting them!
