She was able to integrate our responses into the ceremony in a light hearted and fun way, providing exactly the type of ceremony that we wanted. We received compliments from many guests asking if we knew her personally! Carla also gave us great tips to bring to our rehearsal with our planner. The ceremony went smoothly and she filed and picked up our marriage licenses which was a huge help! The only note was that it was occasionally difficult to get a hold of Carla via email - would recommend calling!

After the ceremony, she shared her script, a few photos and videos even before the photographer and videographer! siastic about being a part of our special day. From my first consultation call to follow up phone calls and emails Carla was nothing but enthusiastic, prepared, and flexible. Carla is a beautiful sound who is patient and honest about the process and making sure that no stone was left unturned to ensure the wedding comes to life! Now onto the wedding stuff…Given that this was a surprise elopement my partner had no idea and Carla wanted to make sure that my partner, of course did want to marry me and all of our planning wouldn’t be in vain, which I appreciate and it showed me that she wasn’t just about the money - she was in it for love and creating a space that exudes the same love we share, and doing this for the right thing which affirmed me that she was the right choice. We had plenty hiccups along the way from a having to change times due to having to attend a last minute funeral causing us having to change our ceremony from the morning to the afternoon which meant our original photographer wouldn’t be able to take our photos. Of course this made me beyond nervous but Carla assured me she’s got it covered! With less than 48 hours notice of the change Carla had found a new photographer who was also PHENOMENAL. And not to mention, it was supposed to rain that evening meaning our outdoor ceremony was in jeopardy! Despite all of this Carla make sure that everything was taken care of down to finding an alternative location for our ceremony. When I say you NEED Carla - I mean that! When it came time for us to marry my partner was completely blown away (even more after finding out everything we’d been through to get there) and we all meshed beautifully. I couldn’t have asked for a better officiant/coordinator/fairy godmother 💗

On the day of our "merger" Carla met us at a state park and did a beautiful introduction and even took a video for us. She signed our marriage certificate and as a part of the package we chose she even filed it at the courthouse for us which saved us alot of time. She then delivered the certified copies to our home within two days. This is not just a job for Carla, but definitely her calling. She truly made our celebration extra special.

I felt that we were in good hands afterwards, and I cannot thank her enough for easing us through the process so we could focus on the moment instead of planning for everyone else. Carla prepared a small venue for about 15 people, and she kept everything moving and organized everyone well. The ceremony was wonderful for both of us and everyone we invited to see our union had a good time. She prepared a speech both in English and Portuguese, gave us time to read vows and overall created a loving atmosphere so we could celebrate our union fully. We were extremely happy that day and Carla made that possible with her hard work on the details of the ceremony.
