Being from out of state, we had to rely heavily on local knowledge and the internet for vendor recommendations. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that we were incredibly lucky to have found Matt at Amore. He was so detail oriented and had everything nailed down before our big day. We were very confident that our day would go smoothly and it went off without a hitch. Not only was he amazing during the wedding, but Matt goes above and beyond with the things he does for you that aren't even in the contract. While we didn't use some of the services offered, Amore truly is your "one stop shop." Trust me, Amore will take all the stress out of your day. You want them on your wedding team!

DJ Matt was fantastic for our November, 2023 wedding in Estes Park. He was extremely responsive to any of our questions, and his thorough planning guide helped us a lot to think through how we wanted our day to look (and sound), by walking us through every portion of every event of the day, from seating music at the ceremony to last song of the reception. Even though our wedding only had 80 guests, DJ Matt kept the dance floor packed all night, and also made sure that everything ran smoothly and on schedule -- highly recommend booking him for your wedding!

We are so happy we booked Amore! Matt is extremely detail oriented and we knew that my ceremony sound and entire reception would run smoothly. Matt was already booked the day of our wedding so DJ Marc was the one who played our wedding - highly recommend! Having an awesome DJ was very important to us for this wedding, as we knew it would turn into a big dance party. DJ Matt, Amore Entertainment was the perfect pick. First off, his sound system and lighting is top notch. Nothing worse than trying to boogie and the music isn't loud enough. Matt also knows how to read the room and kept the party going by playing the right mix of tunes. Music really does make the party and Matt does it right!

Amore DJ Entertainment did our son's wedding 6 years ago and just did our daughter's wedding last weekend. For our daughter, Matt did the music and microphones for her outdoor ceremony at Crooked Willow Farm and then did the music for both the cocktail hour and reception. This required 3 DJ set ups due to changing locations but he did it so smoothly. Our number one request was that the dance floor was always crowded, and Matt's music did not disappoint! He worked with our daughter and son-in-law to find out song requests, last song to be played, Father-Daughter song, etc. Really pleased AGAIN! Amore Entertainment takes their job seriously and is highly experienced. Music really makes the reception and we couldn't have been happier! Thank you, Matt.

Matt was exceptionally punctual and ensured that the music flowed seamlessly throughout the event. The song selection was spot on, creating the perfect atmosphere for our special day. What truly stood out was his willingness to play our requests for house/indie dance music. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our celebration.

We were so happy with our decision to hire Matt with Amore DJ Entertainment as our wedding DJ. He was the DJ at two of my friends’ weddings several years ago, and those weddings were so much fun that I knew we just had to have Matt be our DJ as well. The energy at our wedding was INCREDIBLE. The dance floor filled up in about 10 seconds and it never died down! It was exactly what I pictured for the energy of my wedding. Matt was incredibly prepared and organized heading into the day that I knew it would all go swimmingly, and it did! Matt has all his brides and grooms fill out a music workbook about a month before their weddings and that really pays off. I was able to select the vibe/type of music I wanted played before, during, and after the ceremony, what we wanted for cocktail hour and dinner, and then of course what we wanted for dancing. Every detail was considered, which is exactly how I like to handle things. I put my utmost trust in Matt and I was so happy that I did. He really made the evening what it was! He controlled the whole flow of the evening and I didn’t even feel the need to have a wedding coordinator. He also has hard copies of all his music as to not leave anything to chance as far as bad Wi-Fi, slow streaming, etc. If we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing! We have received so many compliments on the music, and our friends have been telling us they didn’t want to leave because they were having so much fun on the dance floor. Stop researching other DJ’s and hire Matt, you will not regret it! Thank you, Matt!

We hired Matt to be our DJ for our destination wedding at the YMCA at the mountainside lodge. It is super windy out there and the wifi is questionable - not once did we worry or not have music - he was incredible! He went above and beyond to ensure I could walk down the aisle to the instrumental version of my choice. He was amazing the whole night! So many people complimented how great he was days after the wedding. He did a great job of "reading the room" and we all are still talking about how much fun we had dancing all night! It was perfect and wouldn't have been possible without him.

We hired Matt to operate the photo booth for our wedding and we could not be happier that we did! The planning process was seamless and Tami put together an amazing photo template. The day prior to the wedding, Matt even helped work with the vendor to place the photo booth in a better location. Everything went without a hitch on our wedding day. The photo booth was so fun! At the end of the night Matt and Tami provided us a box of photos with kind messages from our guests. I would highly recommend Amore DJ Entertainment!

Matt has lots of attention to detail, helpful tips/ideas, and is willing to work with you on what you want in your wedding. Make sure to give him a complete list of songs you'd like to hear, or you think your guests could request, as he does not use streaming services during the wedding.

Matt was absolutely amazing! The book he provides to help organize the music for the whole day really helped guide our choices not only with our music, but helped us with our whole wedding. Our guests were on the dance floor all night and to this day still rave about how much fun our reception was. I owe that all to Matt!

As if wedding planning isn’t stressful enough, we decided to challenge ourselves to plan our wedding in 4 short weeks. Knowing we had very little time we initially thought we could pull off our reception with having a friend playing music off spotify. But, as time got closer I found myself stressing about how well this idea would flow. 2.5 weeks out, I decided to try my luck and called Amore entertainment. A day later I heard back from Matt, unfortunately he was already booked, but offered us his go-to-man, Marc. I was immediately impressed by all of Matt’s reception ideas and organization of how he prepares for his events. He expresses mailed us our wedding planning notebook and we went to work!! And let me tell you, to say he thinks of everything in his notebook is an understatement!!! Fast forward to wedding day! From the moment we were introduced to the very last song, Marc met all of our expectations and more. Marc was an awesome MC, making the night go so smoothly! It was the absolute best night ever and I know we couldn’t have pulled it off with Amore. Thank you Amore Entertainment for being there for us on such a short notice and giving us a night to remember!!

Matt was so helpful and sent a planning book that guided us through the process of selecting music as well as identifying which wedding traditions we wanted to include throughout and creating a timeline for the event! He was a flawless MC, making our day go exactly how we envisioned it, and as a DJ, he did a fantastic job of keeping everyone on the dance floor. We would highly recommend!

Matt was amazing. He took the time to get to know my fiancé and I, and helped make our wedding truly magical.

We hired Matt to be our DJ and his wife Tami to operate the photo booth. He was immediately in contact with us. During the initial phone call with us, he was incredibly energetic and confident as he described his qualifications and style. This caught us off guard at first, but was the reason why we selected him over other vendors. Over the months, he was occasionally in contact with us to keep us on track with our goals and clarify needed items such as the photo booth. Approximately 6 weeks before the wedding, we received his big book of wedding ideas. This book was chock full of great ideas. It also helped us nail down our ceremony and reception plan order while we finalized our important song choices. He gave a call the week before the wedding to clarify everything, add a few helpful suggestions, and do a quick workshop with the groom (me). All of which was again helpful and showed his experience in DJing weddings. The day of the wedding, he performed during our ceremony without a hitch then continued playing for the reception. I see complaints that he did not play all of the listed songs couples wanted, I can't comment on that for our wedding as we were too busy having a blast to worry if everything was played. All I know is that he played all of the songs we listed as must haves, kept to the general theme we had listed, and that we had plenty of guests comment on how the DJ played nothing but amazing music all night. Finally, the photo booth was the other huge hit of the night! Our guests were threading in and out of the booth all night. Tami had a large selection of awesome props for all of our guests to wear. There was a selection of wedding photo mockups we could do, and we selected a larger 4x6 photo so all our guests had a nice sized photo to take home. The final bonus was that we received a usb with all the photos of our guests! So now we get to see all the fun everyone had with our own eyes. The only slight complaint I have is that the big book of wedding ideas was chock full of great ideas, but by the time we received the book it felt like there was not enough time to implement some of the ideas within. It would've been fun to receive the book earlier and implement some of the more complex ideas. All in all, Matt earned his initial confidence. If we had to do it all over again, we'd choose Matt and Tami in a heartbeat!

couldn't have asked for a better DJ or master of ceremonies. he sent us a book for tips, tricks, and ideas for wedding activities and his role in all of it. he also took all of our most niche requests and incorporated them in to the music. he was also incredibly flexible with our unique set of choices, challenges, and day of changes. you won't regret booking with him.

My Husband and I couldn’t have asked for a more professional, organized, and kind DJ than Matt! Not only did he keep the energy going from start to finish, but gave my husband so many well thought out ideas for the day of the wedding that just made me feel so special! I highly recommend Amore’ Entertainment. Matt was so easy to work with and did an amazing job at our event!! We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID and Matt went above and beyond with his flexibility and helped us along the way. Matt was very easy to communicate with which was a blessing. We planned our wedding from out of state and never had to worry about getting a hold of Matt. Before the wedding Matt sent us a book that he wrote home self to help plan the ceremony and reception. We REALLY appreciated this and it made us feel even more confident in our decision leading up to the big day. The day of the wedding went super smooth thanks to all of the planning and attention to detail. Everyone at our wedding was having a great time the whole night and we got lot of complements on our music and the additions.

Working with Matt was such a breath of fresh air! No nickel and diming! He’s up front with costs and options from the get go! We are a blended family and he had alternatives to accommodate all of our loved ones so nobody felt left out! Flexible and thorough! You can’t do better than Amore’! Matt went above and beyond as a DJ for our wedding. He was very thorough and really took the time to get to know us as a couple as well as our guests before the big day to ensure that he provided the perfect service for us. I was blown away by his professionalism and the passion that he has for what he does. I was worried how the flow of the day would go and what might go wrong but Matt ensured everything was seamless and we had nothing to worry about. He even was able to play a last-minute video from my brother who was serving overseas and was unable to attend our wedding – it was SO special and meaningful that he was able to do that and brought tears to the whole room. His services go well beyond providing music and fun for your special day. He provided us with an in-depth questionnaire booklet that helped us walk through our entire wedding day from start to finish which was amazing. It was actually fun to go through and fill it out and was even more amazing to see it come to life day of! I highly recommend Matt and all the staff at Amore DJ to everyone! He also offers photobooth as an add-on which is awesome and convenient if you’re looking for both! Matt is not ‘just another DJ’ – he truly cares about his clients and goes above and beyond with everything he does!

Matt really does check all of the boxes as a DJ! He was professional and the wedding really went incredibly smoothly - like a well oiled machine. Our only complaints are that he was difficult to reach in the months leading up to the wedding (he was after all a professional DJ with over a thousand weddings under his belt in the middle of wedding season), so our planning with him got compressed to the few weeks leading up to the wedding. Also, Matt tended to lean on his own experience DJing weddings in favor of taking requests from guests. We had a few guests request songs that never got played, and in our case they were actually songs we would have been happy to include. This would be a silver lining if you don’t trust your guests to choose good songs, but if you do trust your guests then it’s a bummer. Finally, he did not really appear to be having fun while DJing - it was just a weird juxtaposition for him to be bringing the house down getting everyone dancing but silently working his computer. I would guess that if you want more energy that this should be specified in his questionnaire booklet - he does everything you ask for in the book! Again, these are our nitpicks - Matt did a great job overall! The ceremony was completely flawless.

My wife Sydney and I had a beautiful wedding with all the bells and whistles. We worked with: a florist, event staff, photographers, and what seemed like a million vendors. I’m here to tell you that the best choice we made was Amore. Matt and his team were incredible from beginning to end. 

Have you ever been at an event that just flowed? Where someone had thought of the smallest details? That doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because someone like Matt Martindale has done it a million times and cares about this particular time, your time. He was an incredible DJ and Master of Ceremonies who listened carefully to what we wanted and made it happen. Our guests loved the photo booth. It was fun, easy to use, and the guests left a copy with a message that we got to keep! Matt gave me an abbreviated version of his Groom Work Shop. That advice by itself was worth every penny. Matt was amazing! He did the music for our ceremony outside and then quickly moved to our inside venue 2 miles down the road with ease. He did exactly what he said he was going to do and we are so pleased! He was very professional and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ. He dressed the part, took care of the important details, and kept the crowd dancing all night at our wedding! He does a lot of beforehand prepping with his DJ book and questionnaires which really helped our day to flow smoothly and without any issues. He even came up to Justin and I during the wedding and reception to make sure everything was okay and to see if we needed anything. Matt really took my vision and made it way better than I could have ever imagined. I’ve never planned music for an entire event and thank god I didn’t have to! I told Matt a little about my vision and what kind of people we were and there were a few songs that I “had to have” and he worked them in magically. And we got married July 2020 Matt really worked with us to have a seamless event with all COVID precautions in place. We also had to switch venues 30 days out, again Matt worked closely with us in creating a new timeline and event game plan. I have so many amazing pictures of everyone having a blast at my reception! Everything about our experience with Amore was excellent. We most appreciated the in depth time-line covering every detail of the day. Matt is a seasoned professional with the knowledge and experience to make your day flow seamlessly.

We hired Matt for our wedding in Estes Park and what a relief to find a professional who takes his job seriously and took all the stress off me and my husband! I'm extremely picky when it comes to music and I was afraid I'd have a tough time finding someone I could feel confident in with my preferred taste. But Matt is an expert and read the room and the dance floor perfectly. We were getting compliments on the music as soon as the cocktail hour started, and throughout the night (and the rest of the weekend)! Matt was thorough and made sure all our bases were covered, especially when it came to things we weren't even expecting to have to think about. We recommend Matt 10/10 times.

Showed up on time managed three different sound systems and made my daughter who was the bride the focus of attention for the entire evening. Matt long-standing working relationship at Della Terra Estes Park proved to be an additional bonus logistically as a couple things changed last minute. Matt with Amore was an absolute dream. He was so helpful throughout the entire pandemic, and made sure to do his best to keep everyone safe. We went with Matt not only for his music knowledge, but for his wedding knowledge. He has this incredible book that has all sorts of ideas for how to make your wedding unique. We had to switch from 130 to 50 and eventually down to 20, and Matt adapted with each one. He was amazing at keeping our guests engaged and laughing throughout the night, even though we didn't have a huge "dancing" crowd. Hands down I would continue to recommend Matt to anyone looking for not just a DC, but a true Master of Ceremony!

We did not end up booking him so keep in mind that this review is based on the experience we had in the initial consultation/communication. After reaching out via email, we chatted on the phone for 18 minutes. He hardly asked about what we were looking for specifically and instead spent the time telling us why he is the best dj. I would like to have complete control over the playlist and music played at my wedding but when I finally had the chance to express this, he replied that "you should just plug in an Ipod then." We ended the conversation with him sending a quote. I did not respond, but a day later, he sent FOUR emails in a row including a deposit request even though I made zero indication that we'd be interested in moving forward with booking. Although he does seem experienced, the consultation left us feeling very disappointed.

Amore DJ is amazing. We worked with Matt throughout our process and he was so professional and easy to work with. He brought up ideas and suggestions we didn’t even think about. We had Mark as our DJ on the day of our wedding and he was awesome. Our ceremony was perfect and our reception was so much fun. We provided just a couple of songs that we wanted played (I.e. entrance, first dance, etc.) but then gave Mark the creative freedom. A true testament to a great DJ is for them to read the crowd and get the guests dancing at he reception. We had so many people dancing and having a good time and we heard countless guests comment that they have never danced so much in their life. Thank you Amore DJ for such a memorial day and fun reception.

Matt made our wedding day SO effortless. He was basically another wedding planner. He is a DJ who is able to read the crowd and determine where to go with the music. Matt shared so much knowledge with me! Wedding planning wasn't very fun for me (I know some people love it) but Matt's "pre-wedding organizer book" was seriously game changing. His expertise and ideas were so helpful. Experience pays off for sure. Being a great DJ was only about 1/4 of everything he did for our day. He's laid back and talks to his clients like friends and that's such a huge anxiety reliever. I will definitely book him for my 2nd wedding! (jokes, but seriously....)

On October 19, 2019 my nephew Mike and his beautiful bride Jessica celebrated their wedding day in Golden, Colorado. My family and I traveled all the way from Nashville for this special occasion. Four months prior to the event Mike and Jessica called me in a bit of a panic asking if I could recommend a DJ for their upcoming wedding. They where having quite a struggle trying to find a DJ because they just didn’t connect with anyone they interviewed which was so important to them. Being a professional DJ in the industry I started to get to work. I gave my long time colleague and friend Matt Martindale from Amore DJ Entertainment a call and by chance he was still available! Jess and Mike set up an interview the very next day and immediately there was a connection. They hired Matt right on the spot! I knew they were in great hands for many reasons. Not only is Matt a fabulous DJ and MC but his attention to detail leading up to the event was top notch. He created a great playlist from their requests and had an extensive finalizing worksheet that even included a section for that all important “do not play” list. Things that couples don’t typically think about leading up to their wedding is at the forefront as part of his process in planning such an important day. For Mike and Jess, it made preparing for their wedding so much easier. This is what makes Matt Martindale with Amore Entertainment such a true professional! Now lets talk about the wedding. What an incredible celebration! The whole event went so smoothly and guests danced all night long. I have to say it was one of my favorite weddings I’ve ever attended (minus my own of course). The music flowed, the event never stopped and we danced until the very last song was played. Matt had the perfect amount of himself as the DJ and the MC. He was there to carry the party from beginning to end through the music he played and direction he gave segueing from cocktails into dinner and onto dancing with all the important formalities mixed in through out the night. He sent us a booklet to fill out allowing us to customize and organize every moment of our perfect day! He attended our walk through. Our day went off without a hitch thanks to his excellent planning tools.

We really enjoyed the professionalism coming from Matt. He knew what he was doing inside and out. The entire process was made very detailed by giving us a book that allowed us to pick every aspect of the entertainment throughout the entire day. I’d like to give this a 4.5/5 only for the simple fact that I had some guests feel that there was a bit lack of personableness that went along with it and it was too ‘scripted’. But when it came to the actual business side of it all, he knows what he’s doing and my entire night flowed very nicely. I don’t regret my decision to hire Matt with Amore DJ because I knew the DJ I was getting and was able to meet with him in person and communicate with him throughout the course of our wedding planning months. We also hired Amore for the photo booth and couldn’t have been more happy with that decision! Tami was the one who ran it And with every photo taken, each guest in the picture received a photo strip and Tami kept a photo strip to add to a black photo book album that was for us to keep. By the end of the night we had a lot of photo strips and we can look back on all the pictures everyone took in the booth! All of my requests were taken into consideration and nothing was left out. I do recommend Amore DJ entertainment if you want your wedding to run THOROUGHLY and SMOOTHLY. :)

Matt was very responsive and was well-organized on the day of the wedding. He gives you a lot of ideas about how to customize your wedding in a booklet, which made our reception a lot of fun. We had him provide sound support for our ceremony and for our cocktail hour musician and then he mc’d/dj’d the rest of the evening. Everything ran seamlessly so we could fully enjoy the day!

We thoroughly enjoyed having you DJ for us. Matt was a huge help in coordinating with our other vendors and helping us manage the timing of each event. The music sounded great, and his playlist was spot on! Our venue was known to have some problem with acoustics, but with Matt, no one could tell! We couldn't be happier with his services and would recommend him to anyone.
