at we interviewed, Julia was the most engaging and had the most affordable option! She is WORTH it -- the pictures you get are priceless and you WILL be able to treasure them forever. They are timeless, romantic, candid, and beautiful... she's wonderful with lighting and has a fantastic eye for composition. What more could we have asked for? Oh, and she's also insanely creative. One of our favorite photos was taken through the reflection of a gigantic pool of water -- and to get that shot, she was kneeling down in the middle of a road! She is so devoted to her art and she really works non-stop throughout your whole day to capture every moment.
Julia came all the way up from North Carolina to New York to photograph my wedding. Not only was she willing to travel, but she also found a fabulous 2nd-shooter for the day (Vivian), who was also quite talented and shared a similar style to Julia's. We are honestly so thrilled that we found Julia -- she was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!!

cluded an engagement session and even though we had taken them with a friend before we found Julia, we did a quick session with her about a month before our wedding to break the ice. She has cute, fun ways of lightening the mood and making you feel comfortable. On wedding day, she and her assistant photographer were with us bright and early to capture all the “getting ready” shots which I love. She stayed calm all day despite the sticky hot weather and torrential rain on our wedding day. We chose our venue partially because of the beautiful photos we knew we’d get with good weather. Even though it rained, Julia found some sweet spots and even brought some umbrellas we were able to use for pictures in the rain with our wedding party. She came prepared! We love our photos and how easy Julia made things for us. She managed to truly capture my husband and I just being “us”, which means everything to me. It doesn’t hurt that she’s a sweetheart and so thoughtful. I’d highly recommend her!

From our engagement photos to our wedding day photos, Julia made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and we had so much fun working with her! Julia is incredibly talented, and her photos are absolutely beautiful! She goes above and beyond to capture real moments that you can treasure forever. We have looked through our photos so many times since she sent us the gallery and each and every time it feels as if we’re reliving the day. And not to mention, she works so hard to get them to you!
