Amorology Weddings

, grace, understanding, and unwavering professionalism. As a bride, the experience can be emotional and overwhelming at times, and I genuinely couldn’t have imagined anyone else guiding me through it all. Heather and her husband, Troy, went above and beyond on every level — listening to our vision, anticipating our needs, and bringing every detail to life in a way that was even more magical than we imagined. We had multiple guests tell us it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and we owe so much of that to the incredible Amorology team. I’m forever grateful for the care, intention, and pure dedication they poured into making our dream day a reality.

. Throughout the planning process I was impressed with their promptness and willingness to hop on the phone. This made everything stress free leading up to the wedding weekend and put my mind at ease when the big day came! It rained on our wedding day and Heather was already prepared with a rain plan! I don’t know what we would’ve done without her and her team.

book Amorology immediately. Their team absolutely killed it for us, as they do for all their couples. They're a huge help throughout the process and will answer your questions promptly even if your wedding is 14 months away and they have another wedding in two days. They were also super accommodating when I had feedback or wanted to make changes--they knew when to push back and when to run with my ideas, resulting in an absolutely stunning final product that was better than I ever could have imagined. In addition to being a creative genius, Heather is also a wise, calming presence that you will love having around on your day. My one piece of advice would be to ask her during the discovery call what her standard rental budget is so it's not a surprise later on in the process. Overall, we were blown away by the Amorology team and would recommend them to any engaged couple that wants to surprise and delight their guests. :)

with another planner and had pretty much everything locked in for our Oct 2020 wedding when COVID hit. By May 2020 we made the decision to cancel and just start planning anew whenever COVID blew over. By fall 2020 it was obvious that wasn't going to happen. As we really evaluated what was important to us as a couple, we determined we wanted to hold a small ceremony, no matter what. Reviewing the challenges and disappointments we faced when planning the first time, we knew what we wanted to avoid this time around. I reached out to Amorology to see what they could put together, given all the restrictions and changing recommendations. From the moment Heather and I spoke on the phone, I knew no matter what the cost, she had to be the one to design and plan the wedding. Despite the fact that our ceremony would host fewer than 20 people, and that half of those in attendance would be kids, she was able to translate all of my very decidedly non-bridal ideas into a dream wedding. Every detail was thoughtful and meaningful, and nothing felt overdone or out of place. Each decision was made with careful reflection of who we were as a couple and what we wanted our day to feel like. Each vendor she brought to us was carefully considered and the team was able to work with cohesion, which is so important for any successful wedding day. And no matter who I talk to about Heather-- they all say the same thing: she makes your day feel perfectly like you. When she revealed the design she had in mind for our wedding, I was shocked at how "right" it felt-- even though it was something I NEVER would have thought of on my own. Her ability to see people and really know them is uncanny, and it results in a wedding day that is truly unlike anyone else's. Throughout the planning process Heather's team was responsive, helpful, and cohesive. Even when I emailed them with questions I definitely should have been able to answer on my own ("What earrings should I wear?" "Any recommendation on shoes for my 8 year old?" "Uhhh, how do I tip vendors?") they responded quickly and as though it was the most important thing on their plate. We always felt like we were Amorology's *only* couple, even though that's obviously not true. But their ability to create truly unique and authentic weddings for each of their clients is astounding. It's been three weeks since our wedding and while I do not miss wedding planning, I do miss Amorology. Working with them was truly a joy during a time when making connections was so incredibly difficult. We didn't have many people in attendance on our wedding day, but we felt surrounded by friends, because Heather's team was there. My only regret is not signing a contract with them from the very beginning. They are worth every single penny, and so, so much more.

xceed any of our wildest hopes and dreams, but Heather and her team made the entire wedding process so much fun. They are so wonderful that it's hard for me to boil this down into a single review. We reached out to Heather at the very beginning of our 16-month engagement and it was the best decision we could have ever made. In our hunt for a wedding planner, we spoke with a number of wonderful planners who undoubtedly would have made our day very special, but ultimately, I realized that all I wanted was an Amorology wedding. Her work is exceptional and deserves all of the praise that it has received. When I envisioned our day, I couldn't imagine anyone else helping us put it together. The planning process was a total joy - I miss it so much already. Her team is incredibly organized, responsive and so sweet. We never felt overwhelmed at any moment and their ideas and suggestions were so spot on to our vision. Our planning approach was to trust the genius that is Amorology, so we ended up deferring to Heather and her team for many of the decisions. It could not have turned out better. Heather's creativity and organization is unparalleled. She was able to create a day that was so breathtakingly beautiful and also so incredibly true to my husband and me. The day was intimate and full of love, with the most exquisitely creative details sprinkled in in every corner. The execution was also flawless - I honestly do not know of a single thing that was remotely off. But planning and vision aside, we cannot say enough good things about how sweet Heather and her team are. During our 16-month engagement, they became so much more than our wedding planners and on our wedding day, we were so thankful to have them by our sides. I can't imagine our day without Amorology and I so wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for the most beautifully creative and flawlessly executed best day of their lives.

ing. She was one of the first vendors we booked and although she was over our budget, we had to make it work. Since we booked partial planning and design, her team started working 2 months out from the wedding to help with designs and logistics. They did help with our save the date and invites a little earlier to make sure they would be cohesive with our wedding day elements. Heather and her team are exceptionally skilled at creating incredibly unique designs that show the couple's story and personalities. We weren't sure what she would come up with for us and she surprised up by choosing a theme of smoothie making which harkened back to part of our story when we first met. Heather suggested hiring Jamba Juice to go along with our cocktails at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar and it was such a huge hit! Guests were in awe of the designs and how fun and colorful the tables were. We couldn't be more thrilled with how the look of the day turned out. If you want a truly original and authentic wedding that's Martha Stewart-worthy, look no further than Amorology!

appreciation over and over. Seeing Troy's arch go up in the back yard was my first clue that this was going to be a great event. Can't believe how gorgeous it was with Tint and Timber flowers. WOWOWOW. It took my breath away! Then approaching the cocktail space - I have no idea how Heather made that bare-bones set up REALLY sing. It was lovely. And people are RAVING about the infamous CHEESE DISPLAY! "So luxe! We all charged right over to it". You really made it feel bounteous and gracious. I'm sorry it required so much discussion; but what you created was like nothing that venue had ever seen. And the reception space! The fabric-covered poles! The clean white stage! The escort table! The backdrop! The delight of the guests as they approached the escort table! I know I loved it! And I did see pictures being taken in front of it. The head table was just exquisite. My daughter was soooo happy with the natural, enchanted vibe of that reception centerpiece. The linen, the gold candles. mmHm. Heather knew just the right understated details to make it special. Those details totally brought it together in a subconscious way. (Not matchy, just organic). I love everything Heather talked me into. She was very respectful of our budgetary desires, but showed us things that could really polish up the edges. People commented on the seamless flow of everything. I thought it was really smooth, really natural. And I now know that is no accident. The bride and groom were so impressed with assistant Maggie. She gave them total confidence and assurance and you could see it on their faces! I was impressed with assistant Margo and the whole Amorology team in the weeks leading up to the event. Their experience, talent, and gracious way with us and with the guests was truly impressive. One friend paid me the ultimate compliment: She described the over-arching, completely palpable feeling of love that permeated the whole affair. Amorology let that all happen by not letting any of the mechanics of the evening stick out. It was perfection. I am as frugal as they come. It was a deep breath and big gulp as I ponied up for the whole idea of a wedding planner. Heather and her team earn every single cent; believe it or not, you will feel like you got a GREAT VALUE, as I did. I had THE BEST TIME on my daughter's wedding weekend. I didn't think about a single detail. The planning was over, and I knew Heather totally had every detail under control. She helped us knock it out of the park, in my humble opinion ;)

talented, but they do not hold a candle to Heather Balliet and the gals at Amorology. Amorology is in a league of their own. They don’t just create a pretty picture, they take the lives, personalities, and visions of the bride and groom and transform them into a fairytale personal to the couple. Thanks to Amorology, our wedding was not only a hundred times more beautiful than we could have imagined, but also felt like it could have only belonged to us. The single best decision I made during the wedding process (after saying yes!) was enlisting the help of Amorology. Amorology has a team of tremendous vendors who they work with, and match with brides consistent with budget. While every decision was ultimately up to me, Amorology was not afraid to tell me that X will break the budget or Y may not look as good. I appreciated this frankness, and I am glad that I trusted Heather and her vision. Amorology was also helpful in guiding vendors to the "look" we had in mind, creating a unified suite of wedding design. When I wasn’t in love with something a vendor proposed, Amorology would swoop in and make it right, somehow knowing exactly what I had in mind (and then, of course, surpassing that!) They were always responsive to my questions and concerns, which meant a lot since I was planning my wedding from hundreds of miles away. When I finally sat down with Amorology to go over the design for my wedding, I was left speechless by what they had designed. Heather had 3 or 4 ideas for each aspect of the wedding, any one of which would have surpassed anything I could imagine. It was at the point that I realized I was in the presence of a wedding master, and that however beautiful or interesting I had pictured my wedding, Amorology would eclipse that in ways I did not know were possible. Heather’s supreme imagination, keen eye for design, love of detail, and utmost competence are a rare combination. Amorology’s fees are extremely reasonable considering the amount of work they put into each wedding. In fact, I am confident that I was able to save more money than I spent on Amorology as a result of their ability obtain preferential pricing with from vendors or on housewares they keep in stock. Also, while I opted for the partial planning/design package, I never felt like I was getting a lesser degree of service than a bride who booked the full package. In fact, I always felt like I was Amorology’s only bride! To think that they were planning several other weddings at the same time blows my mind. Amorology handled coordination of my wedding, but I have only a slight idea of what this entailed as I was able to enjoy my wedding day without worrying about what time vendors were showing up, etc. No wedding is without hiccups, but Heather and her team handled the event details with utmost ease and professionalism, and found time to help me quickly remove a lipstick stain from my dress and to stop the band from playing the wrong song, all the while convincingly assuring me that I had nothing to worry about. I am so thankful that Heather and her team exist, and that I was fortunate enough to work with them. If you want a wedding that is the most beautiful, unique, and deeply personal wedding that you or your guests will ever witness, book Amorology.

before our wedding date to START us in planning a wedding that I had never even imagined! Seriously, I was not one who had dreamt of her 'perfect' wedding day before, so while I am quite decisive, I had no idea what went into a wedding, and had never contemplated the design elements of what the big day would look like. Heather has a design eye that is spot-on, and while I pride myself on being "design-y", she picked up on my overall style immediately and elevated my natural decisions to "oh, that's even better" choices that I hadn't thought of before, yet seamlessly blended with the overall feel of the wedding. She "got" me. She was supportive and an active listener, and most of all, she understood our vision and style, and turned it into nearly 8 hours of "US." Heather and her team were available at nearly all times of the night (imagine the hours a stressed and excited bride is up), and while I wouldn't tout that their availability is the what their most commendable trait is, by any means, it certainly did make me feel like I was in good hands. Even when we changed decisions about our food vendors a month before the wedding, Heather stepped up with ideas immediately and got us an even more fitting caterer - all our guests were super pleased with our food, and we were over the moon. On the day of, Heather and her team were professional, warm, funny, relaxed, attentive, and in-synch with one another, as well as our whole wedding party. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding experience, and give great thanks to Amorology for their guidance!

e a pretty good eye for design with my mother who agreed to help me. But thank goodness I realized pretty quickly that organizing a wedding is a full time job I didn't have enough time for and I didn't know nearly as much about weddings as I thought. Once I decided to start looking for a wedding planner, I immediately put Amorology and Heather Balliet at the top of my wish list! I had been following them on Instagram for awhile and always thought their work was incredibly gorgeous and dreamy. To get a full scope, I also took appointments with two other highly recommended planning groups and immediately knew I had to go with Heather after we met. It was one of those meetings where both my Mom and I left saying "We have to have her do the wedding!" Not even a discussion. From the first moment I met with them to even now after the wedding, they have been so thorough. I can't come up with enough amazing thing to say about them. From being completely organized and responsive to every whim, request and question to making my every wildest dream come true as far as design. Heather and the Amorology team truly are the best of the best. They make the wedding so personal to you and your Groom and that is definitely something that makes them incredibly special! If you are looking for a planning partner your endless searching stops here!
