Amos Deans is a fantastic caterer. Michael was extremely easy to contact and communicate with, provided great insight into our menu, had worked with our venue before, and for such an affordable price provided some truly incredible food. Our guests were raving about the catering long after our wedding! During the wedding, Amos Deans was on time, organized, and their staff was on top of absolutely everything from start to finish. Michael even introduced himself! Despite my wife and I living thousands of miles from the venue, Michael made the whole process so simple, and we could not have been more pleased with the result. There is truly no better catering option out there!

We HIGHLY recommend Amos Deans! My now husband and I were pointed in their direction by our venue (The Celebration Farm), and Michael of Amos Deans was very quick to respond to our questions and go through what they offered. We were 1,000 miles away (like actually) and Michael walked us through every step. We never even taste tested the food because we were unable to get to Iowa prior to wedding week (military), but based off other reviews we were hopeful. Boy, did they not disappoint. That was the best food at a wedding I’ve had in a very long time. My husband works a wedding venue each summer and was a little nervous about “more bad wedding brisket,” but he was very pleased to find out Amos Deans actually knows what they’re doing with brisket, as well as everything else we had on the menu. He especially loved the horseradish sauce. The Mac and cheese was SO good and I think I could eat an entire pan of the au gratin potatoes. We had many guests comment on the great quality of the food. Overall: 10/10 would hire again.

We had none stop compliments at our wedding and even had the DJ come up asking for a referral as he said it was the best food he’d had at a wedding in 20 years. We had plenty of leftovers and are very happily spending our first days as newlyweds enjoying them. For what you get, the price is amazing and my husband and I have already decided to rehire Michael and Amos Dean for future baby showers and what not. I can’t recommend enough!

We are beyond happy with the catering at our wedding! The food was absolutely delicious—every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. So many of our guests came up to us throughout the night to compliment how amazing everything tasted.
The service team was also wonderful: professional, attentive, and warm. They made sure everything flowed smoothly so that we didn’t have to worry about a thing.
Thank you for helping make our wedding day unforgettable. We truly couldn’t have asked for better food or service!

Outstanding! We had the Amos Deans food truck come to our outdoor wedding. Not only was the food incredible, but Michael and the team behind the truck was just as impressive. Michael was communicative during the tasting and planning process, offered suggestions, and made accommodations for dietary restrictions for our guests. If you’re looking for delicious BBQ, Amos Deans will exceed all expectations!

We hired Amos Deans Catering for our 200-person wedding in March of 2022. Michael (executive chef/owner) did a wonderful job helping us choose a menu that would accommodate our guests needs and get a large number of people through the buffet line timely. The staff that assisted Michael day of were kind, informative and helpful. Michael arrived on time, was very professional and wonderful to work with. I would recommend Amos Deans Catering to anyone!

Amos Deans catered our wedding Sept of 2024 and it was PERFECT! We still get compliments from guests about how amazing the food was and that it was the best food they’ve had at a wedding (or restaurant!!) Michael was so awesome to work with and really got our vision for the menu. We wanted something unique and special. He delivered and let us customize to accommodate me (bride, I’m a vegetarian) and it was so so good. Can’t recommend enough!!

The new Kolkers wanted to personally thank Amos Deans for their fantastic work during our wedding process! They were all organized, communicative, professional, and simply lovely to work with. The food is AMAZING. It felt so relaxing to know that we had Amos Deans on our wedding team to make the day go as smoothly as possible. They answered all our questions, went above and beyond, and made the day perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better service or person to work with.
