hey could be a part of the dress trying on process. I had no idea I would fall in love with such a great dress at my second appointment. I had a budget and wasn’t expecting to find anything that would fit that was inside my budget. Kristin, the owner was who was helping me that day. She was very resourceful in finding out which dresses were available in my short timeline as well as in my budget. The store is absolutely beautiful and it’s small - a boutique environment- so it feels very personal. I would highly recommend shopping for your special day at Amour Bridal!

nce I was engaged, about a month later, I scheduled an appointment to try on dresses. When I arrived, I was promptly greeted and I was asked what type of dress I was looking for, and then I was shown a variety of different dresses to try on. I was able to have all of my girls there with me, including my momma and future mother-in-law. It was only after 4 or 5 dresses that I found the ONE! I was still hesitant, but then I was told to close my eyes, a veil was put on, and then I opened my eyes, and that was it! The measurement, ordering, purchasing, and pick-up process was very easy! They provided great recommendations for alterations, photography, and so much more! I'm so blessed to have found my perfect dress here!

I had to go back the next day, (again no appointment but you should make one) and get it! There’s a good amount of dresses to look through but don’t expect a showroom full. From all the dresses I tried the prices all seemed reasonable and all the dresses beautiful!!! Thanks again Amour!!

The dress was a little over my budget so I didn’t try it on initially and tried on some cheaper ones at first. As soon as I tried it on it was game over! I’m so glad I decided (with my mom’s gentle push to make me go) to go in because I found my dream dress!

The salesperson was supposed to order my veil and somehow that order never made it to the supplier. In the end, an associate in the store refunded my money for the veil and gave me the used one they had in the store.

AMAZING. She was so patient and kind. She made me feel so comfortable. She made sure to stay within our price range when she was pulling dresses and she picked out exactly what I was looking for. She truly went above and beyond as a consultant. Deciding on a dress ended up taking a lot longer than I had expected, but they were so kind and accommodating to us. By the end of the appointment, Kathryn felt like a friend. Overall, Amour Bridal has INCREDIBLE prices, stunning dresses, and excellent staff. I can't recommend this place enough!

hat I thought I wanted and Anne helped me pick out some dresses that was the style I had mentioned but also some others. Anne let me tell her what I liked and didn't like about the dresses. She offered ways we could alter the dresses and also brought different dresses to the fitting room once I started figuring out exactly what I wanted. I put on the 7th dress and I knew it was the one immediately! It was just perfect. Anne had kept it aside and knew exactly when she wanted me to try it on, she said she had a feeling it was the dress but waited until she thought I was ready. Anne was just amazing! Ashley, the owner, was there too and she was so friendly, nice and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend getting your dress here. It was such a stress free and fun experience. They also have lots of accessories, bridesmaids dress and even tux rentals there. Thank you Amour bridal. I can't wait until my wedding in March so I can wear my dress!

Going in I was immediately given only strapless, I didnt want strapless and this was communicated several times and she just told me we could add straps when I wanted to see a dress WITH straps! Then I discovered she was showing me dresses 1000 over my budget! I left I love with a dress from my first shop but exhausted and in a bad mood that the first shop needed to mend when they shouldn't have had to. I felt ignored and being pressured into dresses I didn't want at all. Go in with someone else who will also voice your concerns and push back.

us, and I told Brenda my budget. She immediately started showing me dresses within that price range, with no guilt tripping or trying to get me to change my mind. That was honestly one of the best parts of the whole experience, I didn't feel any pressure to buy that day or anything at all, really! So I would give 10 stars for that kind of service alone because that's honestly what dress shopping should be about: being happy with your decision and comfortable while trying on dresses. They even took pictures for me as I was trying dresses on and patiently waited for me to send them to my mom and my MOH. Everyone is out of state, but this store took care of it, no problem. They all genuinely seemed like they wanted to help me find the right dress that day, which I did. AND they saved my butt the week of my wedding because I completely misunderstood my alterations lady and thought that she would be steaming my dress once it was fitted, but she said, "No your dress shop does that for you! Call them tomorrow!" So I frantically emailed Amour on a Tuesday (when they're closed) asking if they would be able to steam my dress before Sunday and I got a response within 5 minutes saying, "Of course!" They even did my little sister's flower girl dress! So they really are lifesavers and I am so glad I went with this shop. Oh, and my veil was beautiful, too :)

I found a dress I liked but wanted to add sleeves, and Natasha was so helpful to do that as well. Really though, I'm writing this review because of how considerate Natasha was during this whole process. During the sample sale, dresses were on mega sale but if you left and came back you ran the risk of someone else getting that dress for that deal. I couldn't make up my mind and Natasha was so kind and gave me space (and so much time!) to make my decision. I loved the dress-but was still a little unsure about one part of it. When I was trying to decide Natasha came back and suggested another dress- very similar without the one part of the other dress I was unsure about! It was perfect, and everyone was so considerate and accommodating! I will definitely recommend this place to my friends getting married!

15 dresses in larger sizes BUT the options they have are all very flattering and so beautiful. I was also told that a lot of the sample sized dresses in there do come in plus sizes but they don't have any larger sizes to try on. Just a heads up before you go in! I believe most dresses in the shop are around $2,000 and under from what I could tell so that was a great surprise! I came in first with just my mom and second with my family and both appointments were so laid back and fun. There was no pressure and both consultants I met with were very supportive and so informative. I can't say enough about my experience here! Can't wait to go back to pick up my dress!

wanted to try it on and that is the gown that I bought for my wedding. The vibe of the bridal boutique was very professional and sophisticated. Amour Bridal surpassed all my expectations and I will definitely be recommending the boutique to all my friends that are getting married in the future.

t was the shortest they could make it, and that I would HAVE to wear heels (I wanted to just stick with flats). I said that was fine if that was all they could do, because I liked the dress. 52 inches it was - signed and paid. 5 months later, and only 40 days from my wedding, my dress arrives. It's not only NOT 52 inches, but it's 47 inches (after I was told they could not make it shorter than 52?). I contacted the bridal shop and they said they could NOT order me a new one. They said they'd take it back, but couldn't offer me anything in return. Or I could keep it how it was. The dress in it's current state, does not reach the floor. If I wanted it to reach the floor, all new fabric would have to be sewn in to the delicate floral patterned lace. Not once did Amour even offer to ask the manufacturer about a rush order, or offer for me to see if any other dress could be rush-ordered, or if I could even try on others in the store to purchase a floor sample one. Nothing. When I returned my dress today, my fiance asked them where the miscommunciation happened and they blamed ME and said "well maybe she should have purchased smaller shoes". (I was told to get "at least" 1 inch heels. I purchased 2 inch heels because let's face it, 1 inch wedding shoes are almost impossible to fine). But that's okay... since it's all my fault anyway.... I will NEVER purchase anything from here again, nor will I EVER recommend this store to anyone. If you are reading this, I strongly encourage you to shop elsewhere. Austin has so many places to offer - do yourself a favor and pick somewhere that will do anything they can to resolve any and all issues. You're the BRIDE and this is your WEDDING - the most important day of your life!
