Jimmy is also a long time touring background vocalist for international Freestyle legend, George LaMond. We had AMP DJ/BAND HYBRID perform at our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. They are truly AMAZING and are the perfect mix of live and DJ entertainment! From day one, Ana and Jimmy were a pleasure to work with—responsive, organized, and genuinely invested in crafting an event that fit our style. The whole process was seamless, from the initial call to the questionnaire and meetings leading up to the event. We especially appreciated that they customized the tempo of our first dance, making the moment feel even more special. For cocktail hour, we enjoyed live guitar, and for the reception, we had a fantastic mix of guitar, drums, vocals, DJ, and trumpet. Several guests commented that AMP was the best group of performers they had ever seen at a wedding! The band catered to all generations and kept the dance floor packed the entire night. Their talent and ability to choose the perfect songs kept the energy high and the party going. If you're looking for a DJ/Band hybrid, we highly recommend AMP—you won’t be disappointed!

Having AMP Band for our wedding was an A+ Experience. For our wedding, we used the DJ/Band Entertainment for reception, along with the String Duo Violins for the ceremony. During the pre-wedding planning stage, Ana & Jimmy took the time to get to know us on a personal level and answered all of our questions quickly through emails and zooms. What I loved about the planning stage with them was their ability to incorporate our music suggestions, while also providing feedback on music through their expertise. On the wedding day, they absolutely crushed it!! During our wedding, it was a perfect mix of live and dj entertainment during our reception. They met all of our expectations music-wise and did a phenomenal job of playing music to all generations during the night. We had countless people raving about their performance in the days after their wedding. Can’t recommend them anymore!!!

My wife and I hired Ana, Jimmy, and the crew for our vow renewal/wedding party we never had, and we couldn’t be happier. We went with the core 4 and added the trumpet and sax players to rock it out. 10 out of 10 according to my friend attending that’s been a DJ and doing weddings for 30+ years. They absolutely crushed the party, and I have been receiving calls nonstop about how amazing they are. If you are looking for a band/Dj hybrid, they are absolutely the way to go. I promise you that you will not regret hiring them for your event. We interviewed 5 bands, and just felt right from the minute we all met. In our opinion, The best in the business! The combination of how they mix everything together, created a vibe that you had to be there to feel. The professionalism, and just the overall trust we had in them, was met in every aspect. Ana and Jimmy, thank you again for making our day so special. It was a long time coming, and you were amazing to work with.

Working with AMP was a dream come true! As most couples do, we were seriously debating between a DJ and a band for our wedding. There were pros and cons for both, right? A DJ would provide dance music and is less expensive than a full-blown band, but we have a rock background as most of the music we love is performed by live bands, and the groom played guitar in a band for a while. We wanted the feel of a concert, but we also wanted to hear some dance mixes to get people moving. We thought, whatever will we do? In came AMP to the rescue! With AMP, we got EVERYTHING we could have wanted and more. We got a string trio for the ceremony, a fantastic keyboardist for the cocktail hour, a full band, and a DJ set for the reception! They had people on the dancefloor all night to the point that most people didn't want the party to end! The process was straightforward, and Jimmy and Ana were extremely accessible throughout. After filling out a short questionnaire with all the songs we wanted to be played, we got on a couple of calls with Jimmy and Ana to go over the details. Some of our songs were a little out there (our first dance was a Bo Burnham song), but they made it work perfectly! They did an incredible job and helped deliver our dream wedding. We were so impressed with Jimmy and Ana's kindness and professionalism that we also opted to commission them for a custom song to commemorate our special day. They did a fantastic job, and we love the music they created for us! They even met us before the big day to give us a framed copy of the lyric sheet! The entire experience was terrific. Look no further if you're like us and looking for the best of both worlds. We highly recommend AMP and will recommend them to any of our friends and family for any occasion! Thank you, Jimmy and Ana, for making our day extra special! We got so many compliments from our guests and couldn't be more thrilled by how everything turned out. Outstanding performances by two amazing people and their team! We really couldn't have asked for more.

Ana and Jimmy were beyond incredible to work with! Not only are they ridiculously talented but they are so attentive and helpful through the planning process. Down to even helping with picking songs for our videographer, they always made themselves available. Even more so, every single guest couldn’t stop raving at how talented they were and kept being shocked that what they were hearing was actually live music! You’re making a mistake if you don’t choose to work with these incredible musicians!!!

AMP DJ/Band Hybrid was stellar! Beyond stellar. To upstage the food at Land's End is quite the accomplishment and let me tell you, Ana & Jimmy did it. "Where did you find this band? They are phenomenal! Oh, the food is also amazing..." is what we kept hearing the entire night. We started with a string trio for the ceremony and they played "Bridgerton" type music, then moved into jazz music (complete with a saxophonist) for the cocktail hour. Then it was time for the reception!!! We opted for the horns and had several others in the band. AMP started with a 1,2,3 punch of knockout hits to set the tone. Ana's voice is so powerful and the dance floor was bumping THE ENTIRE NIGHT. If you want a party and you want people to keep that party going- AMP is your go to! Ana & Jimmy met with us (virtually) several times, as we live in Texas. Being thousands of miles away did not hinder them from doing their job or forming a bond with us. Ana & Jimmy even swung by our Tasting at Land's End to say hi and run through some final things. Not to mention, they got some pretty great pictures ;) Thank you AMP for making our wedding a night we will never forget!!!! AMP Ana & Jimmy exceeded our expectations in so many ways! They are the perfect combination of a band and a Dj and they combine the two flawlessly. I remember throughout our wedding reception looking over and seeing they were actually singing and I was just in shock at how good they sounded! They kept the energy going all night long! The pre-planning and event guiding they give before the wedding worked so well and made sure to get all of the important details from us and they carry out the rest! I didn’t even need to stress about introductions, announcements or timelines because they made everything flow so well! We are still amazed at how they execute their hybrid model so elegantly. We had so many compliments about AMP and even had guests asking for their info! Ana& Jimmy were always willing to meet up in person and talk on phone/FaceTime. They made our whole wedding planning experience from start to finish so personal and meaningful. They are such genuine nice people! We cannot say enough good things about their amazing talent!! We are still truly blown away & recommend to anyone for any event !!

From start to finish, our experience with AMP DJ/Band Hybrid was the best. Ana and Jimmy were so responsive, and were there for us every step of the way-- even outside their own domain. They were available to zoom with us whenever we asked, pretty quickly after we asked; they offered recommendations for venues, songs, anything we needed. We cannot even come close to explaining how AMAZING AMP DJ/Band Hybrid are! The talent, heart, love, and genuine fun that exuded from all of them was immense, and everyone was buzzing about how wonderful they all were and asking us how we managed to find them. Their talent is above and beyond, their energy is infectious, and they kept the party going all night. Their performance was a seamless part of the night, and at the same time merited its own concert. I can't rave enough. We miss the wedding and wish we could do it all again-- even if only to dance all night long with all of them again! We are so sad that this was our one chance to do so, and have been musing as to how we can throw another party with all of them again! Now that our wedding is over, and I am not worried about anyone else booking them, I urge any of you looking for amazing wedding entertainment and unending support to book AMP immediately. I promise you it will be one of the very best decisions you make you for your special day.

AMP DJ/Band hybrid was absolutely phenomenal!! Our guests were raving at the quality of music and everyone was dancing throughout the reception. Ana and Jimmy are a pleasure to work with and helped us customize our music to be what we were looking for. They were responsive whenever we had questions and helpful with suggestions when we needed ideas for anything from entrance songs to cocktail hour background music. They sent us an Event Planning Guide way in advance so that we could start thinking about and filling in details we were looking for, including “must play” songs, and choose whether our favorite songs were DJ or live. We decided to ask for an extra musician each on saxophone and guitar, and they were great additions. We highly recommend AMP DJ/BAND HYBRID and are so glad we chose them for our wedding!!

All of AMP’S 5-star reviews are spot on! There is so much talent, energy, and passion among this group of musicians. Their performance blew us away and exceeded all of our expectations, and most importantly, we had SO MUCH FUN! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about them after the wedding. We added a guitarist who played during the cocktail hour and reception - so worth it! Ana & Jimmy showcased each band member’s talent and let them shine, from the guitar and drum solos to the impressive vocals. From start to finish, Ana and Jimmy were incredibly easy to get along with and very organized, which made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. They have a communication platform that housed all of our questions and their answers, our documents for the big day, and the music decisions, all in an easy-to-access website. The way they spoke with us and their quick responses to our questions made us feel like we were their only clients – they really went above and beyond to make us feel special and appreciated! Their DJ/BAND HYBRID was the perfect mix of live music and DJ entertainment for all of the songs we picked out. They understood our preferences and vibe and enhanced it with their selections. AMP was a true pleasure to work with! We used their services for our wedding on 5/21/22 and could not have asked for more! Ana and Jimmy were easy to work with, were great communicators and kept the vibe going the entire night. Since our wedding, we have heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests! Their event planning process made it easy to plan out our musical selections and they made themselves available to us anytime we wanted to chat or ask for guidance. Wow the compliments of how amazing AMP/DJ Band Hybrid was at our wedding don’t stop coming! Only seeing a showcase video, I knew they were good but I didn’t know THAT GOOD. Ana and Jimmy were one of the easiest and sweetest vendors to work with, always willing to jump on a zoom call, meet in person, do a run through, answer my emails right away, you name it. Their attentiveness to our wedding day experience was superior. They understood the vision of the day we wanted and executed to perfection, keeping a jam packed dance floor the entire night (I literally think I left only to eat dinner for about 5 min), with music we loved. The band/ dj combo works so fluidly and they are true artists, half the time you heard a song you couldn’t tell if that was the singer or the actual song being played. I cannot recommend them more.

We used AMP DJ/Band Hybrid for our May 2022 wedding and had the best experience! We were looking for a hybrid type of music act but didn’t just want a DJ and one instrument. When I was introduced to AMP and their DJ Band hybrid, we knew we had to book them for our wedding! From the start, Ana and Jimmy were SO helpful. They even came to our venue, The Piermont, to do a walk through with us to envision the day. Whenever we had a question, they answered quickly and throughly. Our guests RAVED about AMP at the wedding. So many people came up to us throughout and said they were the best band ever! We wanted our family and friends dancing all night, and that’s what they did! I also love pop punk music, which is partly why I wanted a DJ band hybrid, and AMP delivered! I had so much fun with the DJ set of this type of music in between the live music sets. We also worked with AMP to add additional musicians, and they were able to coordinate and add with ease. We added a string duo during our ceremony and it was truly magical to walk down the aisle to the beautiful sounds of the string duo (James Teal). We also added a guitarist to the core AMP band. Overall, I had the best experience with AMP. AMP is a newer concept/group, but they have been playing together as part of a larger band for years and they are so so amazing! I highly recommend booking them for your wedding - you won’t regret it!

I can’t speak more highly about AMP DJ/Band Hybrid. They were my first and last phone call regarding the music vendor for my April 2022 wedding. Upon speaking with them; we knew immediately that they were the right fit for myself and my husband. I love Old school Boomer music and traditional wedding party songs meanwhile my fiancé tends to prefer hip hop music and top 40 music. They were the best fit for us. Honestly, while I know they are experienced musicians; I was a little nervous as first as they are a newer formed group that they would be lacking, But They blew us and all 215 of our guests away!! I can’t tell you the amount of people who have reached out to me personally post wedding to rave about our band; and I’ve been told by so many people that our wedding was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, and I know it is due to this brilliant musical ensemble! The powerhouse singers, DJ and musicians (we opted in for a guitarist for our cocktail hour and reception and it was incredible) just couldn’t make a better team. The dance floor was packed the whole night and we couldn’t been more happy with them. Of All the vendors we used (whom were all fabulous) they were the one I couldn’t recommend more highly. The amount of care and charisma and fun they will bring to your event will be unmatched by any other group. SO RUN don’t walk and Hire them for your next event. There is no way you would ever regret it and you are missing out on the most talented group if you do not hire them! I wish I could get married again just so I could hire them once more!

If you are looking for the BEST entertainment group look no further! This entertainment company does it all- live music, dj, ceremony and cocktail- all in one!!! Jimmy even sang as I walked down the aisle ! Want a unique song written just for you? THEY DID IT! Our wedding was truly amazing and we give a huge amount of credit to AMP - DJ BAND/HYBRID. Jimmy and Ana were incredible to work with. They were always so responsive and really helped us figure out what would work best any time we were indecisive. Ana and Jimmy took a ton of time to get to know us and made sure our wedding truly reflected our personal style. Our guests had such a great time! Family and friends are still telling us how much fun they had at our wedding! We took a chance on AMP - because although they are a new company, their extraordinary backgrounds speak for themselves. Each musician has over 15 years of experience, and the result is nothing short of the best. AMP was one of the best decisions we made to making our wedding day complete, so seriously, if you are still looking for your entertainment- STOP! Check it off your list and book AMP! Amazing amazing amazing! Such an incredible concept I can’t believe it hasn’t been the “thing” for ages now!! The best of both worlds ❤️❤️ Ana, Jimmy and the whole crew are incredible, and so so talented!! People will be talking about your event for weeks afterwards, I know people were talking about mine.
