As an MC, he went above and beyond to keep the day flowing perfectly and the energy high all night. What really stood out was how much Ken truly cared about us as a couple. He was genuinely excited for our wedding and helped us with several personal add-ons that made the day feel uniquely ours. His setup is truly next-level: a one-of-a-kind DJ booth with a big screen for day-of photos, custom music videos synced to his mixes, and even CO₂ guns that took the dance floor to the next level. He also suggested adding walk-up songs for our wedding party’s speeches, which was a fun idea and a total hit with our guests. We got so many compliments afterwards, and everyone wanted his card! All in all, Ken is an amazing MC, an excellent DJ, and just an awesome person to work with. He kept the dance floor packed all night and made our wedding unforgettable. Highly recommend!

He was able to incorporate music that he never heard before (my wife is Bosnian, important to have a good mix of Bosnian and American hits) and seamlessly blend it throughout the entire event so that everyone felt included.  Beyond the music, Ken was organized, communicative, exceptionally forward thinking, and genuinely invested in making our day special. He was able to work with all of the other vendors and elements of the wedding to create a cohesive environment throughout our special day that flowed well.  We have had so many of our guests come back to us and talk about how amazing he was. - Jimmy was a great MC and kept the night flowing so smoothly. Our dance floor was crowded the entire night and he played every song that we requested. He also played really fun remixes. The transitions from one song to the next were really smooth and there were no awkward pauses. At no point did we think "I wish more people were dancing." Hiring Amp Events was one of the best things we did for our wedding, and we will absolutely recommend them to any of our friends and family.

o many unique touches. So many guests told us, “I’ve never seen that at a wedding before!” He didn’t just DJ—he created an experience. Ken took live videos throughout the day, projected highlights during the night, and mixed in live video of our guests on the dance floor, which made it even more interactive and fun. The very next day, he sent us a highlight reel of our ceremony to relive the magic. Ken also brought in a live sax player and the mashups he created with it were incredible. Our guests were completely wowed and it was a huge highlight of the night. It was the kind of dance floor you couldn’t step away from (not even to use the bathroom) because every song was a banger. On top of all that, he’s an absolute pro—organized, detailed, and fun to work with. He took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and delivered. Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without him. We can’t recommend Ken enough!!!

I love that he crafted a photo montage of our relationship to play during our first dance song. It was super sweet to dance with my husband and as we danced, I could see our friends and family surrounding us and glimpses of our photos throughout the years. It just made it all the more special! Ryan really knew how to get the guests involved when they needed to and up on that dance floor! He even let me play DJ for a few minutes, which was super fun (I was terrible and will leave it to the professionals LOL). He was just so much fun and played a great variety of genres and decades. This was important to us since we had a wide range of guest ages. Almost all of our guests (during the wedding and in the few weeks since) have told us how awesome Ryan was and they had so much fun. I hope the next wedding we attend has Ryan (or someone as amazing as him--tho that will be pretty hard to beat!). If you want a DJ who plays some party jams and makes it a night you won't forget, I highly recommend Ryan!!!

e wedding had ended and the venue was wrapping up. He handled all the music and microphones from the pre-ceremony through the reception, which was awesome. We didn’t have to worry about renting any equipment because he came fully prepared with everything we needed for the entire day. From the moment the dance floor opened, Ken had the dance floor packed. He played a fantastic set of songs that everyone knew and loved, ensuring that no one was left sitting out, but also had no lulls in the energy of the night. His knack for reading the crowd and playing the right songs at the right time kept people dancing all night long. One standout feature was the music videos he played on the screen of his dj booth. This was a nice touch, especially for those who might have felt a bit shy about hitting the dance floor. It allowed everyone to enjoy the ambiance, whether they were dancing or simply watching and singing along. Ken also excelled as an emcee. He smoothly directed the flow of activities, ensuring that transitions between different parts of the evening were seamless. One of the highlights of the night was the group photo he organized. Ken took the initiative to gather everyone for a memorable photo op, which turned out to be a fantastic keepsake for everyone at the wedding. The moving photo booth was another hit. Ken's assistant, Chris, walked around with a camera attached to a ring light in order to capture both candid and posed shots. Guests who were dancing or lounging at their dinner tables could easily join in the fun of a photo booth, as it came right to them. Ken allowed my sister (the maid of honor) to use his dj booth for a slideshow during her speech, which was an exciting surprise for me (the bride) and all our guests. He was overall very patient with all our requests and even shared edits of the songs for the first dances, making sure everything was just right before the big day. Ken did a fantastic job making our wedding a night to remember. His skills as a DJ and his flexible approach really made a difference in making our day perfect. If you want someone who will help your entire event go smoothly and keep the party going, Ken is definitely a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

In addition, we were struggling with music ideas for certain aspects of our wedding and he was able to give us great guidance. Then, our day was amazing! No one left the dance floor unless they were hot to get a drink. He was wonderful at seeing cues on what music the group was enjoying and seeking. He was able to take our suggestions and incorporate them into the day. He was also checking in on us to make sure if we needed anything which we loved. For a DJ, you want more than someone who can play music, and Ryan was able to create an event with his great selection of music and engaging personality. ce - I wanted a host and entertainer! From the beginning Ken asked all the questions in our first zoom meeting before I even got the chance to ask any! Ken’s first questions were, “what makes you tick?” and, “what do you want the guests to describe or remember about your wedding?” The Experience Package, which included Ken and a gorgeous DJ equipment, was out of our budget, so I opted for another package thinking if Ken trains other DJ nationwide, then his students should reflect Ken’s entertainment philosophies. Once we knew Joe was assigned to our wedding, we immediately hit it off in conversations. Joe followed up with emails, telephone and zoom calls to ascertain we understood the vision for the wedding - from the pronunciations of name, phonetics, timeline, and mood of the wedding! A week before the wedding, my now-wife wanted to see if we could add cold sparklers. Adapting to possible hazards, Ken came on his day-off to aid us with the cold sparklers! On the day of the wedding, their team overdelivered! Joe had great song selections, attentive to our needs during the reception by confirming if we are good for the next activity, and ultimately making necessary sudden adjustments knowing timelines may change. I believe I forgot to send Joe the most updated version of the wedding party introductions but Joe managed to adapt and everything went smoothly! Unexpectedly, before Ken left for the evening, he is known for being the best at facilitating the freeze frame speed table photos, and he surprisingly added a 360 camera to highlight our choreographed first dance! I was once worried about DJ prices, hosting experience, and equipment availability until I found Amp - and these guys are different from the moment I spoke to Ken! Highly recommend the search for a DJ/Host/Entertainer should begin with them!
